- This video shows the diagnosis and repair of an injector in a Kubota B7200 Diesel tractor. In this case, a crush washer had failed and started leaking requiring its replacement. This procedure is a 3 out of 10 for difficulty. It would have only been 2 out of 10 if keeping the fuel system clean wasn't a priority ;)
I use the same terminology for the parts you do and I have the same torque wrench.
Do you remember what size the jumper lines were, or bleed lines? Kabota calls them low pressure lines but I don't want to confuse the question, the ones you said you replaced.
wow, pretty sure thats the same engine as my Ford 1320!
Thanks
I cannot find my leak. Will run till it warms up the gets worse. Had a yellow fuel line on return and could see air in line. But cannot see diesel. It would run during the cold for a bit, now hardly at all.
What's the part number for crush washer
Question. I am. Getting extra fluiD in my oil. I checked iT 3 times for water by draining some oil into a glass . I don’t see any water. So I’m thinking it’s diesel but I don’t smell any. I replaced the fuel pump but it’s still getting fluid in the oil. What should I try next
It sounds like a leaky or stuck open injector. Perhaps other people more experienced than I am can comment.
I have a Universal diesel which is a Kubota for sailboats. I have a fuel Yoke by the injector that seems to be leaking does this use a crush washer also?
Try to get a number off of the injector or motor and look up on the internet or call a heavy equipment shop or kubota dealer and ask them. I don't know.
Why does the crush washer have holes in it?
I don't know the answer but would love to learn. Can anyone help us answer the question as to why there were holes in the Crush Washer?
@@mrdiyguy123 bit late to the party, but the spill from that particular injector comes up through those holes to enter the main return line.
What size hose is the return line from the injectors to the fuel tank? Looks like 1/4" should be about right.
I no longer have the tractor but 1/4" sounds too large going from memory. 3/16" might be more appropriate. The dealer had the specific hoses for less than 6 or 7 bucks each. I replaced the long hose going up to the tank only.
