Are you sure that the plunger should not be in the opposite side (M30 not facing the plunger rack)? If I follow you, the fuel delivery valve is not shutting off when the rack is at off position. Thanks
@@tractorsmarinemechanic isnt this a 16032 pump? im pretty sure that benjamin is right,,no matter what engine this pump sits on it works the same,,this zexel/Bosch pump sits on many diffrent engines, not just kubota,,like kia cars and iveco for example.i realy whant to know if u put that plunger the wrong way cus im rebuilding one myself and all info i could find but yours say the other way around,,,M30 at the back(slots in the plunger on the backside were the hole is in the cylinder.)

Nearly identical looking in my d1703 kubota engine, I've heard that you can upgrade components for more power in these but I don't know where to start . Do you know of any sources for power adders?
Great video thankyou. I've rebuilt my pump and each port shoots out fuel as expected but it doesn't appear to get enough pressure to pop the injectors. The injectors work find on another machine. Any ideas ?
Got a question My Kubota K 008 mini x is blowing smoke and I have case pressure If you take the dip stick out while the engine is running It will blow oil out Will this fix the issue???
I have the exact same pump as you in this video only my fuel inlet and return line are on the opposite sides as your pump.. does this mean my plungers have to face the opposite direction as yours? Or do my plungers still go in the same direction as how you did yours? Any help would be greatly appreciated
The problem I’m having is the fuel stop valve is not shutting the fuel off.. my rack moves smooth and so do the plungers. I have tried to flip the plungers 180 degrees and I still get fuel coming out of the pump and the stop valve still won’t shut the fuel off. Im stumped
@@tractorsmarinemechanic thanks for your reply, I figured it out, it wasn’t a lost pin but that was a good suggestion as they are easy to loose.. the issue was actually quite simple, I was using mechanics wire to tie over the shut off leaver to make sure it would cut the fuel off but didn’t realize that the stop leaver was not bottomed out against the adjustment bolt.. apparently the stop leaver will not work unless it’s fully touching against the threaded bolt that adjusts the leaver. So needless to say once I tightened the mechanics wire a bit more to hold the leaver more firmly over while I turned the engine over the fuel stopped coming out of the pump. All is good and I have the engine up and running again. Thanks so much for your videos!
I got D722-E Kabota the pump will bleed out of the bleeder valve not out of the injector . I tried running it last night . I’m hoping the fuel soak to the parts . Let it start working again. Try spraying cleaner or wd40 Will that help Will the loosen up the parts ? Before attempting . Taking it apart .
Hi, I gotta a question for you, friend. Those d1105 engines come in a turbo variant, is it an easy upgrade to take a 24 hp regular and turbo charge it to that sweet sweet 33 hp by any chance? What would I need to safely turbo it?
@@tractorsmarinemechanic like the time in the video you showed the delivery valves, plungers and barrels. like at 25:45 you have it completely tore down.
I have a Kubota L2350DT and it looks like i'm going to have to remove the pump and clean up the internals. I assume that the intake manifold will have to be removed in order to remove the pump from its housing. Is there anything I need to know in regards to the pump orientation with the forks on the throttle linkage. Or does the pump just simply lift out after I remove the fuel line and the associated mounting bolts.
@@tractorsmarinemechanic Thanks for your reply. Are the machined cuts on the plungers supposed to be oriented facing the rack? I think that in most videos that seems to be the case, but its hard to be certain. I did test my fuel flow just after re-installing the pump, and prior to connecting the the injector lines, and everything seemed good with the fuel control. I do seem to have a low speed miss, but that may be due to not having the idle stop properly adjusted yet. The skip goes away with a slight increase in RPMs. Your videos are very good by the way, I hope they are paying you well where you are working. Just a little more emphasis on the plunger orientation would be awesome. What is your fist name? Mine is Don. Thanks again for taking the time to post these videos. Maybe you could consider making some injector rebuild videos in the future.
Hi, thanks for detailed video. I have this engine in a onan cummin generator and When I started it go to full acceleration and I had to cut the fuel for turn off. Could be the rack governor loose in any way and stuck in high RPM? Any advice? Thanks.
I admit that I learned a lot from this video. Congratulations on the mastery and skills, but I don't like the messy workplace and the mixing of the elements of the pump sections. I wish to see a level up next time.
Awesome video, I’m the kind of guy where If i can just watch the job being done once I’v got it down pat. I have a question, I bought larger plungers for my Kubota D902 engine, the guy who makes them claims it will give up to 5hp more with the right amount of air.. what is the difference of running larger plungers Vs. just turning the fuel screw? Basically I wanna know why someone would want larger plungers to get more fuel when they can just simply turn the fuel screw to allow for more rack travel.. I assume both methods allow for more fuel but they do it in different ways? Which way do you suggest is better if you want to add a little more fuel to the engine? Thanks so much!
