Thank you for a fair comparison and thank you for recognizing the value of the EOS R. It has been unfairly overly critized for its imperfections, so much so, that other reviews neglect its strong points and value. So, thank you for your fairness and recognizing the R's value. You have a new subscriber, I look forward to more content. All the best!
Thank you for the kind comment Dave! You are onto something there! I too think the R was really overlooked. It is a more than capable camera and still fits in nicely to Canon's lineup! All the best!
Best comparison on TH-cam! I’ve tried out many cameras in the past a7iii, a6400, and the rp. I fell in love with the little rp but just wanted a few minor upgrades. I’ve been considering purchasing the R as I think it will fit all of my needs and then some, being a beginner. You’re video truly showcased everything to love on the R. Thank you.
This was the best comparison video that I’ve seen on TH-cam. In years past, I would have bought the R5, but being on a budget, I needed something less expensive. The camera store was out of stock of all R series cameras (a testament to Canon’s popularity), so I decided to pre-order the R. Your video made me feel so much better about my choice. Thank you!
Hey Theresa! Thank you so much for the kind comment! That means so much! And sorry for the slow response! I have been crazy busy over here with wedding season and haven't had time to check my TH-cam comments. So glad to hear this video was helpful for you! Hope you are liking the EOS R. It is a great little camera. All the best!
Thanks, Shane! R photographer shooter here, having owned it for over a year. Of course the new stuff that comes along makes improvements, but I'm always baffled by the subsequent marginalization of the tech that came before (I can understand why 4k and slo-mo videographers get starry-eyed about the newest release.). So, while some are busy keeping up with new, and God bless 'em if they can afford to do that, I'm back here taking photos I love. The picture is the thing!
Hey Kevin! Totally with you there! And the R does take stunning photos! I still use it for personal work here and there. All the best and happy shooting!
Thanks for a fair review of these cameras. I love my R!!! I don’t do sports or weddings. I do portraits and landscapes. For my use, it’s the best value with the highest resolution. The higher resolution keeps me from going to the R6, and the huge price jump keeps me from going to the R5. So, for the foreseeable future, I’ll stay with my lovely R!!!
Glad it was helpful! If you haven't already, you are going to LOVE the upgrade from a DSLR. There is so much more new tech in mirrorless. All the best!

Great video, as always. Ever since the Canon 5D Mk4 I've been hoping Canon would *allow us to save our customization/configurations/presets to a card* (or better yet save/load with the Canon Connect app since our phones are usually with us). I shoot with two bodies and after experiencing the incremental increase of customization options when setting up two 5D Mk4 bodies, two EOS R bodies, and now two EOS R5 bodies I really wish we could save/load settings. There is even more customization available in the EOS R5 than on the EOS R and we can expect that trend of complexity to continue with each future body. Imagine borrowing an R-series body from a friend but it's configured how they use it and you use yours differently. Or imagine renting a body as a backup/replacement and you need to spend a good 30-40 minutes *without getting interrupted* to copy your settings from one body to another, hopefully not missing a setting that you'll find out later when you need it the most. This has been on my ever-growing *CANON WISH LIST* since the 5D Mk4 and I would love to see this simple request become a reality.
100% YES. Every time I send my camera into CPS, or add another body, I know I am going to have to spend the evening re-setting it all up. And I always miss something.

Shane, I respect your opinion and pose a question about these two cameras, and my debate about a purchase: 1. I am not a pro, and I'm looking for a travel camera, one to casually take pics when I'm in NYC, to take pics for promotional Yoga material (I'm a teacher), and I would describe myself as a entry level shooter who is ONLY interested in taking high quality STILLS. Have no interest in video features. 2. My interests in photo taking; travel such as landscape, portraits, street photography, Yoga promo materials, long exposed shots, nighttime cool shots and that's about it. 3. Money isn't necessarily an issue, but I can obviously benefit by purchasing a EOS R and a RF lens such as 24-70, and it'll be same cost as just the Eos R5 body. WILL I be happy 2-3 years from now if I buy the EOS R, get a lens, and save $ and will I be happy with the image quality and output? Or, should I just wait, save and just head first into the r5? I would love your insight.
Hello Victor! Great question. For the types of shooting you are doing, you could save a lot of money and get the R and then have a great lens in the 24-70. The IQ is great on the R .I think if were you that's where I would start. As cheap as the R is right now, if you decide it is lacking, you can always sell it and buy the R5 later. Just my 2 cents. Hope that helps!
Thanks for this review of the two cameras side by side. Most helpful 👍 I'm an R6 user and trying to decide a second mirrorless. Was leaning toward the R5, so your review has helped a lot in that respect. Cheers.
What about landscape and seascape photography please. I have the R6 but often have to crop my seascapes and would love more pixels if I want to print big. The R might be the answer.
super thanks for this video comparison. Ok I am sold I want to upgrade to the R5. I also photography weddings with a 5d4 and the R. I'll wait for the price of the R5 to come down a bit. Its super expensive here in Canada...
Nice comparison but to make it more of an apple to apple one, you should use the exact same lense, settings and conditions to see how the R performs in comparison to the R5. I'm in a dilemma about what to upgrade to from my 70D for products Photography and not sure which one should I go for the RP, R, R6 or the R5 🤔
Those are all great cameras! Product photography is not my expertise, but I think the R6 or R5 would be worth it. The next generation features on them are amazing.
Thanks for the vid. I got a R couple weeks ago and few things that I don’t like. The EVF is lagging big time when shooting moving subject. I didn’t realize it’s that bad. AF won get focus when the subject is far. Lens with IS is always on when the camera is on. It will drain the battery faster. I hope R5 solved these problems.
Bummer. Yeah there is a significant price difference between the two, but there is a reason why. The R was a good first step for Canon into mirrorless and you can take some great photos with it, but the R5 is on a whole other level. The R6 is amazing too just it doesn't have the high resolution. All the best!
RP and a great lens is a great idea! Image wise, the lens makes a big difference. Autofocus, two cards, IBIS are other features that help get the great shot and protect it!
Thank you for this review I’m really debating on getting the R of the R5 right now I can get the R for 1500 and someone is selling their R5 for about $2500. Don’t know which one
@@ShaneLongPhotography funny you ask. I actually rented the R and I did not like it and the R5 was just far too expensive so I actually went with Sony A6700 and I love it.
Hello! You are going to love that R. Looking at the clip it looks like I was using the Canon RF15-35 2.8 I was at ISO 400 f2.8 1/1600. amzn.to/38dSNsQ Hope that helps!
@@ShaneLongPhotography thanks. I'll be using a 24-70 2.8 Sigma art lens. Will invest in more glasses in the future. 50mm/85mm and a 70-200.. are all for future. Sl1>Nikon d7100>eos R
However I think this is also going to be my setup. I already have the r and I am in Love with it. I saw a Jessica Kobesi video when she was using a canon dslr 5div and this other guy was using an rp. He blew Jessica out of the water. There was no competition there. She was trying to figure out lighting etc - he was done. I immediately got an EOSR. That camera latches onto my eye like a gazelle. Love it - I need a second body to replace my 5d3. So either another r or an R5 But the Sony a7s4 will be interesting.
Nice! You are going to love it. That is a great camera! The intro is in 1080. At this point I am just doing all my videos in 1080, but at some point I might try 4K. Just not sure how my computer will handle it ;)
@@ShaneLongPhotography I am amazed that it was 1080, I know the snow helped with the lighting but still lol Yeah, that scares me about the 4K as well, as well as the space for storing any of the files lol
Thank you for the great review. Could you please give me an advice on the following? I shoot for myself on the Canon 60D + 50/1.4, but always wanted to check the full frame cameras. I see that used 5D3 are available from 830 USD, 5D4 drom 1000 USD and R from 1600 USD in the place I live. I like to make portraits and various photos in the dark. Do you think 5D3 or 5D4 would be an option? Or better get some more money to invest in R-series?
My reply is probably too late for you, but I would definitely go with the R system. So many cheap options out there like the R, RP or R8. All of them will give you great portraits and incredible AF!
amazing video, well done. A lot of comparisons I've seen agree the EOS R files do seem to have a little more 'pop' and the R5 files are a bit 'flatter' (and as someone doing their research before upgrading, its my perception too). Even the videos in the IBIS test with the young boy seem more '3D' on the EOS R. What are your thoughts on this?
Great observation! I think it is something you might notice if you are seeing them side by side, but if you just have one camera you wouldn't notice it. The R5 files have more dynamic range and a little more ability to lift shadows so though they initially might have less pop, you can always add it in post. I would rather have them start flat and add pop later. But it really is very subtle. Hope that helps! Well done to do your research!
Nice video, I'm using 6D Mark II and system lens - 70-200 f2.8 non IS - 16-35 F4 L - Sigma 35 art - Sigmar 70 art marcro - 85 1.8 usm - 50 1.8 stm I'm going to buy new camera and that's R6 mark 2. But I only have about $2700. Please give advice for smart buying. Will I buy new camera or EF lens for 6d mark 2 ? Or something like that, please suggest me. Thank you!
Thanks David! Totally understand what you are doing. I hope to make that video soon as I made quite a few changes to the button layout and it makes it so useful!
A great video, thanks. Which camera did you use to film the video when you were standing in the sunlight? The video quality looks crisp. Hard to believe that it is shot on 1080p.
Hello! Sorry for the slow time to respond. I had to take a break from TH-cam as I was super busy with photoshoots and family life. I am pretty sure I was using the R5 on that section of the video. Though I will say both cameras turn out really good video quality. I finally have a computer that can handle 4K video now and hope to do all my new videos at that resolution! All the best!
Hello! Sorry for the slow time to respond. I had to take a break from TH-cam as I was super busy with photoshoots and family life. Appreciate the kind comment! Sadly we don't sell our preset. Maybe we will have to look into that someday! All the best!
Hi, Shane! Thank you so much for this review! I now own a EOS R (with a RF35mm 1.8 anda RF50mm 1.8) and I'd like to know what are your settings for sharp images taking portraits. Thanks!!!
Hope you are enjoying the R! I usually just shoot my portraits wide open at like 1.8 or 2.0. With the eye AF the focus is always spot on. If I really want the whole face sharp I might stop down to f/4. All the best!
I was excited to see the R5 listed as in stock on Canons website the other day. I still have my money so I'm starting to doubt their information was accurate.
Hi,I would like to buy Eos R but the problem is that the release date of R. It is 2018 which means it's been 4 years since it was released.I am asking this because when I first bought my camera Canon 50D in 2009 ,it was released in 2008. Last year I had a problem with it and I sent it technical service and they said they wouldn't repair because of lack of the sowftware to fix the problem,so I am a bit hesitant about buying this camera even though ıt corresponds my needs.I need your advices .Thank you.

If i have more budgets, i'll definitely go for R5 or R6. i have a RF50mm f1.2 that i bought last year, is kinda heavy but i really like the sharpness of the lens. Will getting a new RF15-35mm because how terrible my 16-35mm Mark 2 condition are...
Hello, Shane, can you tell me please what camera have you used before? I own a Canon 6D MarkII and I would like to upgrade, I am especially interested in studio photography and events, I'm curious if there are significant differences in image quality between a Canon device like mine and Canon EOS R , am I wrong if I say that the Canon 5D Mark 4 is over the Canon EOS R? I am exclusively interested in the quality of the resulting image, any advice and suggestion is welcome, thanks a lot
Hello! Sorry for the slow reply. The R will look virtually identical in image quality to the 5D4. It will just have a little more resolution that the 6D mkII. Hope that helps!
thank You I too Had the R and was looking to upgrade to the R5 I would like to know what you thing the difference is when Pixel peeking at like 200% and 300%
Hello Brian! I just when back into the images and viewed them side by side at 300% and there isn't a crazy difference. The R5 is a touch sharper. Both cameras hold up really well. The biggest differences between the cameras actually aren't in image quality (speaks really well of the R's sensor) but there are big differences in handling, IBIS, and function. Hope that helps!
I have the R, and want the R5, do you think I should keep the R as a second camera with a zoom lens or something for weddings? Then using the R5 with maybe a prime?
I was shooting on an R and RP for a while, then sold the RP for a second R because a sweet deal came my way and I couldn't pass it up. This happened just days before the release of the R5 and R6, but I had no interest in those cameras because the specs on both are either so negligibly "better" than my R (10 bit vs 8 bit video means almost nothing to my work), or so wildly "better" than my R (8k means absolutely nothing to my work), that they didn't matter to me. However, I borrowed an R5 for a few weeks and only then realized that I had been FIGHTING with my RP and R's functionality. I never fully realized it because I guess subconsciously I thought my complaining about the micro frustrations with the R and RP probably meant user error, but my 5Diii felt like a part of my hand and I could quickly spray and pray for some hail marry shots without looking and usually get them, however the RP and R require looking at the camera, getting in to menus, and using both hands to do soooo much stuff, not to mention waiting even a second for the camera to snap to attention at times. With the added buttons and programmable features to these new (old, because the 5D had them!) buttons (like customizing focusing modes to different back buttons) I can grab a single point in one-shot or throw the Hail Mary tracking in servo without even glancing at the camera-- no toggling, no menus, no checking anything, no looking at the camera at all. I'm days away from buying an R6 and have been watching tons of R5/R6 reviews to see who else cares about what I care about. Your video came closest to addressing the issue, and I applaud you for being so practical and realistic with the review. In a controlled environment where I have the luxury of looking through menus the R is a phenomenal camera, but it's increasingly frustrating to use in real world situations where you need the camera to just BE READY and respond as quickly as your muscle memory does.
Hello Andrew! You absolutely nailed it. The R6/R5 ergonomics and usability are on a whole other level than the R/RP. It is the sum of 1,000 little changes. It quickly becomes a native controller that you doesn't get in your way of perfectly timing the shot. So intuitive and natural. Thanks so much for the kind comment and have fun shooting with it when it comes!
I haven't used the 24-70, but I do have the RF 15-35 2.8 which I will be posting a review of later tonight or tomorrow! In that video I explain my typical camera set up. I have always just preferred prime lenses so yeah though I considered the 24-70, I just haven't needed it.
I have the 28-70 and once you get used to the weight you sill fall in love with it. I use it all the time now. Even at f2 the R5’s eye af never drops focus. It is a super sharp lens. It is definitely worth the entry price.
Oh I missed that you said the 28-70! That lens looks amazing! My friend has it and I have played with it a few times! I have only heard rav reviews on it!
Great question! I didn't know, so I just got it out of the bag and tried it out! When I was in single shot, with just the regular AF point, it did 8fps. When I switch to full auto and servo mode, it did 5fps. Hope that helps!
This video was nice to watch. I need your opinion. I want to start shooting events. For budget reasons (since I am starting) I think the EOS R is the one that is more ideal for my budget, the only thing that concerns me is the autofocus in poor light conditions since a lot of events like weddings and 15 añeras have those type of low light situations at some point. How did you get around that autofocus limitation with the EOS R in low light situations? I hope you can give me and opinion based on your experience.
Hello! Fun that you want to start shooing events! Though the R isn't as good in low light focusing situation, it is still good and will do just fine for you if you are starting out! And if needed, you can always flip it to manual focus, press the magnify button to zoom into 10X zoom, and then manually focus. Best of luck in your decision!
I was filming myself! At the beginning I was using the R with the RF 15-35 at about 20mm at f/2.8. Later in the video I was using the R5 with the RF50mm at 2.8. Hope that helps!
You really should not let your cameras dictate the colour accuracy it is producing. Shooting a colour calibration card can make editing soo much easier!.
Thanks for the video Shane. I enjoy watching your videos :) Could you please tell me more about your experience with the R5 with its overheating issue with photography?
Hello Prasanna! Thanks for watching. I bought the camera the first day it came out and have never once had it over heat nor has the warning light ever come one. I shoot about 3000+ photos per wedding one two R5 camera bodies. Even on the hottest of summer days, it handled writing to two card slots just fine. I cover it in my R5 review! th-cam.com/video/l8izgCPnrHc/w-d-xo.html Hope that helps!
Hi Shane, thanks for the real world reviews. I had an issue recently when shooting vertically and eye auto-focus. I was so confident in the eye detection AF that I was not paying attention but the eye AF was not working properly when I went vertical so I missed focus on some important images. You mentioned changing the AF zone when vertical? Any more detail on this? It would be nice if the R5 would recognize you are shooting vertically and the eye AF to work exactly the same. What has your experience been? thanks
Hey! Yeah I use the large zone vertical and horizontal zones a lot in servo mode. I have the m-fn button programmed to switch between AF zones. It face detects in those modes. Super helpful nailing the focus when subjects are moving! Hope that helps!
It's up to your comfort level. I have used mine in the rain many times and not had issues. I know others though that always put plastic bags over them.
Thank you for this comparison!! I know this isn't your exact expertise, but I love doing pet photography and am planning to upgrade from my point and shoot. I feel like the R5 is too much for me, but do you think the EOS R has fast enough frame rates for pets and quick moving objects?
Great question! The R would do ok for pets. But I would think about the R6 or wait for Canon's next entry level mirrorless as the R6 and R5 have the animal detection and it works incredibly with pets!!! Here is where is show the animal AF in one of my other R5 videos! th-cam.com/video/l8izgCPnrHc/w-d-xo.html
@@ShaneLongPhotography Definitely! I figured the R's frame rates are a bit low... but it is on sale right now and about $1k cheaper than the R6. But R6 seems to be the better choice. I'm just wondering if it's worth the extra $1k! Thank you for answering, Shane!
I bought an R when they came out, I've looked at the R5/6 & 3 but for my needs they offer nothing new ................... My favourite ever shots were taken on my old 7D and M5
Thank you for comparison. I own an R. How would you suggest I change my color settings to match the R5 colors. Create a custom white balance and add more magenta?
Great question. Yeah they are different. Not sure exactly what to do there. It's part of the reason I ended up switching to just two R5 cameras so I wouldn't have to deal with the differences. I know in Lightroom you can build camera specific presets. That could save you some time!

Hi Shane, Great video and comparison! Loved your footage and I learnt a lot from that! Thank you so much and God bless you!
Thanks so much for the kind comment! Really means a lot. God bless you as well!
Hello @shane, I have hard time adapting to R5 colors. I love your work and particularly the colors. Could you please share you post process ? TIA
Thanks so much! I do offer mentor sessions on my website if you are ever interested in learning more!
Was wondering- isn’t it really the lens that matters most? Can I get an RP w/ a great lens?
RP and a great lens is a great idea! Image wise, the lens makes a big difference. Autofocus, two cards, IBIS are other features that help get the great shot and protect it!
Thanks for a great review - very helpful. I'm very envious about all that lovely snow!
You are welcome! And yes the snow sure is beautiful!
Thank you, I was waiting for this! Great comparison.
Glad it was helpful! Thanks so much for watching!
Thank you for this review I’m really debating on getting the R of the R5 right now I can get the R for 1500 and someone is selling their R5 for about $2500. Don’t know which one
Did you make your choice?? Both will take great photos!
@@ShaneLongPhotography funny you ask. I actually rented the R and I did not like it and the R5 was just far too expensive so I actually went with Sony A6700 and I love it.
which lens and settings was used at 4:10. Great video. Thanks. Waiting for my EOS R.. soo excited
R slide bar can be hsed for video volume
Cool!
Thanks for these two cameras review! Can you please tell if you have lens's IS OFF or ON during your IBIS test(12:08). Thanks in advance.
Sorry for the slow reply! Though I don't remember for sure since it was a long time ago, I am pretty sure it was off...
So either another r or an R5
But the Sony a7s4 will be interesting.
I too started with the R and was almost immediately done with my DSLR. Changed the game for me! Have fun with whatever you choose!
A7s4 will be the price of x4 (R)s
Very helpful, and.... oops...I am sensitive to that... that shutter sound! R5 all the way!
Right?! The shutter sound is amazing!!!
Thanks for the great video. I ended up with the EOS R. Was your intro recorded in 4K? Looks very crisp. Thanks!
Hi Shane, what belt are you using? That nice brown leather belt at 15:33 min? Thx4anwering and best Regards from Germany
Sure thing! Holdfast Gear Money Maker. amzn.to/3bpeBhm
Nice Review, the R is good for long recording Video than the R5. Also, I can’t wait to buy the R5 for $1000 in the next 2 years 😁
Haha! So true! I still love using my R for making my TH-cam videos! And you are right, wait a little while and the price will drop :)
Nice video,
I'm using 6D Mark II and system lens
- 70-200 f2.8 non IS
- 16-35 F4 L
- Sigma 35 art
- Sigmar 70 art marcro
- 85 1.8 usm
- 50 1.8 stm
I'm going to buy new camera and that's R6 mark 2.
But I only have about $2700.
Please give advice for smart buying.
Will I buy new camera or EF lens for 6d mark 2 ?
Or something like that, please suggest me.
Thank you!
Hello! I am sure you already bought something by now. R6II is a great camera! Hope you found a great lens to go with it!
Great video , the editing colors are very clean and airy do you sell your presets or can you do tutorial how you edit please !!? thankss !
Hey thanks! I just use a VSCO Portra 400 video that I have adapted to my liking!
@@ShaneLongPhotography thanks for replying but I looked everywhere I couldn’t find any presets under name VSCO porta 400 video ! ☹️
Good video. Thank you. Would love to see how you customize the R5 buttons. I keep hitting exposure lock by accident.
Great video Shane!!! R shooter here! Want to upgrade to R5 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thank you Bruno! The R is a great camera! Thanks for watching!
Great video! Thank you for the content. Do you sell your presets in Lightroom by chance ? Thank you
It has been such a long wait! Hope it comes in soon for you! You are going to love it.
@@ShaneLongPhotographyThanks but I chatted with Canon this evening. It says in stock but it's actually still on backorder.
The R will still take great stills. It just operates slower than the newer cameras. Look at that new R8 Canon is coming out with. It's incredible!
@@ShaneLongPhotography thank you so much
i bought the EOS R because budget concern. Will put more investment on RF lenses
Great choice! It still is a great camera! And with those new RF lenses you will take all kinds of amazing photos.

in Chinese wedding (I'm from Malaysia btw) We have this Gate Crashing in Chinese wedding where the groom and groomsmen (Heng Dai or brothers) need to go through obstacles (games) to get to the bride. Especially some games require physical actions to complete the tasks, where i find EOS R is slow to focus on moving subject. Is not the best camera but it'll do the job....
@@ShaneLongPhotography yes it's a joy to use so responsive
I have the R, and want the R5, do you think I should keep the R as a second camera with a zoom lens or something for weddings? Then using the R5 with maybe a prime?
Sorry for the slow reply! I still have my R as a backup for weddings!
Shane- have you ever tried the 28-70 RF? If so, how was your experience? If not, is there a specific reason, maybe just the aperture?
@@ShaneLongPhotography I’m about to buy my first rf lens, so which one gives more magic rf 50 1.2 or 28-70 ???
When shooting in RAW, how many FPS does the canon Eos r shoot? Also, when in Auto focus, does it shoot at 5 fps or 8 fps? I'm confused. Help!
Great question! I didn't know, so I just got it out of the bag and tried it out! When I was in single shot, with just the regular AF point, it did 8fps. When I switch to full auto and servo mode, it did 5fps. Hope that helps!
@@ShaneLongPhotography You the best!
@@ShaneLongPhotography thank you.very much
Will you be selling your presets for Lightroom?
Hello! I might look into it this off season! I have been asked for them a lot lately! Thank you!
What were you filming yourself with? What settings? Thanks!'
Great thoughts! I used one the last couple years, but decided not to this year. But it is a great solution for people!
@@ShaneLongPhotography thanks! yeah, I need to try it out to see how that works and if I get better results. you da man
This camera can be out in the rain?
It's up to your comfort level. I have used mine in the rain many times and not had issues. I know others though that always put plastic bags over them.
Do you shoot these videos in 1080/24 or 1080/30? :)
Great question. 1080/30.
Did you use the same lenses for both cameras?
Absolutely!
I had no idea Shane Long became a photographer.
Haha. I like soccer too.
The R’s shutter sounds an old grandfather’s clock. Seems pretty slow too compared to the newer camera bodies…😊
Haha! Yeah the newer models are a lot better in that regard!
Even with a phone the R5 has better dynamic range. The black was just a bit blacker. 😃
It's true! You definitely can do more with the R5 files!
Thank you!
You're welcome!
Any good lenses
So many!!! Check my channel for reviews on them! RF 35, 50, 85... All the new RF lenses are insane!
Thank you for this!!!! 😃
You are so welcome!
I bought an R when they came out, I've looked at the R5/6 & 3 but for my needs they offer nothing new ................... My favourite ever shots were taken on my old 7D and M5
Those are great cameras! You can make amazing photos with all of them!
With the price of the R5, I’ll just buy 2 EOS R that I know it won’t over heat lol and still be able to buy 4 memory cards and a decent cheap lens lol
The R is a great camera! Such a good value.
This was a big help. Thank you :)
Glad it helped! All the best!

buy an R and wait for an R1 if your serious and do not want to be usurped by the R1
That camera will be incredible!
Eos R better alwalys
The R is a great value!
The r5 is almost $3000 more than the r
Now that it is getting older the difference is getting less, but you are right, it is a lot more!
