I've had Multiple Sclerosis for 38 years now. I'm 57 and thought eating mostly veggies, fruit and grains as they told me decades ago. Kept feeling worse and worse. Changed to strict carnivore and have never felt better. Not as near the amount of pain, blood pressure down, energy up, anxiety gone. I will eat this way forever now. 💪🏼❤️

I have the same story! With a diet of predominantly vegetables, I just kept getting worse. Since moving to carnivore, the MS has improved significantly and the crushing depression has lifted!

I was diagnosed with MS in 96, am currently confined to a wheelchair for past 10 years and around 80 lbs heavy, I was carnivore for 28 days and hate myself cause I slipped up today and felt immediately crappy!!, instead of beating myself up I'm getting back in the saddle tommorow and hopefully remember this lesson, I'm not sure what gains are possible for me at this point, but I think I owe it to myself to find out. I wish you well and good health on your journey!

I saw you on HomesteadHow and am so happy for you, Ellie! I have been carnivore for about 2 years, but started Keto first, in July 2019 at the age of 74. I reversed Type 2 Diabetes, Stage 3 Kidney Disease, Fatty Liver, chronic reflux, IBS and inflammation. I am 78 now, 55 pounds lighter and feel better than I have in years. I believe in the power of community and know it really makes a difference when we support each other. I have subscribed to your channel and wish you the best.

Thank you for your input. I haven’t heard too many comments from people in our age group. I started keto during Covid in 2020. Lost 45 pounds. I was 70 then. I have fallen off the wagon so to speak and feel terrible. Now 73 and am starting carnivore gradually. I’ll be happy when I start to feel better. Thanks again for the motivation you gave me!❤

This has been my experience, too. I've been carnivore for almost 8 months now, and I feel like my life is starting over fresh. I used to get so nervous before flying, afraid I'd forget something or lose something, etc. Recently, I drove to the airport and realized I was totally chill. No anxiety. What a breakthrough! Not to mention good energy, no pain in my body any more, clear brain, and on and on. I agree with you. I'm not going back! This is so great. And I'm so grateful.

Thank you for your video… Very organic and inspiring… My wife and I are in now 59 days on the carnivore diet. She is more faithful than I am… We try to watch a video from the carnivore community every day to keep us motivated.
    I'm 66 years old and already feel like about 20 years… I've lost 18 pounds. I've gone from 227 on March 15, 2024 to 208 pounds on May 14, 2024.
    Too many improvements to list
    Life is good
I will say this… I started investigating trying to figure out why I was starting to suffer from intense memory loss/brain fog and confusion… That is what led me to the carnivore diet and fast fast improvement

So happy for you. This July 4th will be 2 yrs carnivore for me. Didn't have any health or weight issues when I started, but at 69 yrs old I wanted to do something to maintain the good health that I was enjoying. What I learned was that everybody posting a video had their own idea as to what is best. You have to learn to listen to your body and what it's telling you. For me, over the months I have evolved to a higher fat lower protein form of carnivore. Now that my body has adjusted to the extra fat, it's working really well for me. Wish you all the best ❤

It is so refreshing to hear your story, embrace your newness, I pray that your new way of eating brings you many more life eye openers. I am 50 next month and since starting the Carnivore diet in Feb 2023, I have witnessed an amazing understanding of health and food in my life. Now, I eat to live and not live to eat! It's a blessing that I stumbled on this new way of enjoying life. I was always a picky eater and a creature of habit... thus this Carnivore diet fits me like a glove! I mean, I really love accomplishing things without thinking of a food substance to reward myself. For the first three months, I have added and removed things from my diet and now I have stabilized. I love your transparency and energy. Please continue to enjoy your changes, I wish you all the success, stamina, energy, and great feelings that life can bring! Aging is definitely a blessing, with energy it's amazing!😇

I'm 41, had a ski fall 10 years ago which left me with neurological issues, headaches all the time, shacking vision, balance problems and chronic fatigue. It ended my military career and turned me into a desk jockey at home. I am loads better now, although not fixed, I'm used to living with my condition but I got overweight and weak.
42 days on carnivore, I'm full of energy and the fat is falling off FAST. I still get headaches, I still get balance issues, but I feel motivated and I want to push myself again, like a switch in my head has been flicked!
No more IBS, no more acid reflux, no more midday zombie. All from eating food I LOVE! eggs and bacon for lunch and steak in butter for diner, its so perfect and I WANT it! I want my steak when other options are available.
In two months im on track to hit my body weight goal and light enough to not stress my medical injuries so much during exercise.

  • @lauri_with_cats
    @lauri_with_cats ปีที่แล้ว +22

this story hits a bit too close to home - chronic stress that lead to extreme tiredness and afternoon naps, a progressive worsening of my mental capacity that eventually lead to getting fired, being unable to work for years, and becoming more and more anxious - not being able to drive ofc but also getting very overwhelmed from the passanger seat. Also, imagining over and over again all the ways I can injure myself by falling and accidents, my pets left helpless or my parents passing away and me unable to cope. I discovered that if I can stick to carnivore for at least 2-3 weeks the simptoms improve a lot but sometimes the sugar cravings are too much or I feel the impulse to binge because meat doesn't make me high like sugar does. Regardless, I am not giving up because after reading one of Dr. Gabor Mate's books and listening to the story of Jacqueline du Pré and what MS did to her - I understood that I am the same type of person - unable to output my negative feelings, which is very common for MS patients. Carnivore fills me with life, I also feel more spiritual as well, for the first time in 15 years. Everyone who goes carnivore is given a second chance at life, as if a deity took our hard and pulled us away from the shadow of death. I am so incredibly grateful. I think I found a way to stop wanting sugar as well. Sending encouragement to everyone listening.

I love what you said about a deity pulling us away from the shadow of death. I feel like I was guided by angels and brought to this diet because I was spiraling down toward my own demise, just by living and eating the way we've been advised for decades. I don't have MS, but I was basically disabled due to a HORRIBLE mental state - severe anxiety and suicidal depression as well as obesity and many other physical problems. These are ALL HEALED now, after 1-1/2 years on carnivore and some EMDR treatments for PTSD. It's wonderful to hear of your own recovery, and about so many others who are achieving amazing success by turning to Carnivore and other low-carb methods to finally heal!

I just stumbled upon your channel and really enjoyed hearing your story.
The Carnivore diet has helped tens or even hundreds of thousands to improve their physical and mental health, and especially those with auto immune diseases like MS and Parkinson’s which my uncle has recently been diagnosed with.
Eating meat, butter bacon and eggs will continue to heal your body and I truly think it will significantly reduce your MS symptoms, if not cause them to go into remission.
I have been doing Ketovore (Carnivore with a small amount of veg) for the past 5 months and I’ve lost 53 lbs and have reversed my Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, chronic arthritis, acid reflux, sleep apnea and IBS. I also have massive energy again, and my mental clarity and focus is off the charts!! My anxiety and depression is also in remission. I just plain feel great again…. @@BlackCeIIea I agree, a predominantly Whole Foods plant based diet made me feel better too. I do still eat some meat personally because I feel my best with leaving some in my diet. I went carnivore for 6 months to get rid of my gut dysbiosis and I felt good initially and had some oxalate dumping but about 4 months in I started to feel deathly ill with rashes, insomnia, heartburn, worsened asthma, stomach pains and nausea. Worked with a dietician and it took me 5 months to transition off of it and heal my gut because it made my body super sensitive to everything but I pushed through and now I feel much better! Maybe it works for some people but it didn’t work for me.

Your journey has just begun. Welcome to the life you should of had. You are not alone, I am just over day 120 on carnivore. There is no going back... I should say, you don't have to. We are where we are supposed to be, with knowledge and understanding the future has come to us, and now we can share what we know and encourage others to follow, not us but themselves, and get them to trust and believe in themselves again, for the ones that will listen... keep going and don't look back, stay strong and stay the course, you've got this. Fear regret more than failure.

I just wanted to tell you how much healthier you look already in 30 days - there's a new light in your eyes and your skin is perfect - you can put away your makeup. I am 55 and menopause has been messing with me in a bad way since last Fall. Doctors and naturopaths have not been able to help at all. So coming back to carnivore is my hope for feeling and looking better. I wish you all the best and look forward to your progress!!! It's gonna be great😊

I'm about 8 months into my carivory and I must say I felt astonishing improvements to my health in the first few weeks and months. As time passes, the severe health problems I was dealing with post pandemic (none of which I had a name for, but it included heart problems and a lot of debilitating neurological isses ) have kept improving. At 1 month in, I was also pretty certain this was the way for me and that has not changed.
Loved your video and have subbed. Best of luck with everything 😃

Our ancient ancestors died with all their teeth and no decay. Now most people see a dentist, brush floss religiously and still get cavities and loose our teeth. The difference they mostly only ate fatty meats and organs.

your looking fine. keep up the progress, were not getting any younger, though we can sure try slowing the speed down/ I am 65 in june , and been trying keto diet low carb. and a little closer to carnivore, as i watch what i don,t buy- no easy task loosing weight, i got about a 15/20 lbs i would surley like to drop for a healther ME.THANKS for sharing your GOOD results, i am sure it will encurage other to help loose weight, or be healthier weight.Last month i fasted about 7 days only drinking coffee with heavy cream, though i had about 500 calories from the coffee cream- i think i lost 2 or 3 pounds in such a short time. THOUGH i was surely surprized how i was hardly even hungry.

I have self diagnose myself to possibly having MS. I have started the carnivore diet because I feel like it is the healthiest way to eat. Found your video after praying about MS and what to do. Your video has encouraged me and gave me hope for my future. I am 74, but I am not ready to give up. I have been carnivore for 30 days, but have not had many results, but because of you, I will stay the course and continue on this journey. Thank you for being honest and keeping it simple. God bless you.😎

I'm 71 . . . and about three weeks in most of my arthritis and sciatic nerve pain is gone - I've noticed that if I slip up and have something sugary, the sciatic nerve pain in my right hip will flare up for a couple of days! Good incentive to stay away from the sugar - even when Hubby wants his dish of ice cream! Have you reviewed some of the videos about why some people have trouble? Maybe you aren't getting enough fat, or electrolytes, or salt . . . just my thoughts.

It's very encouraging to see you thriving in spite of the MS. You look *amazing*. Well done! Carnivore has got to be the easiest way to take control of our health, isn't it? Meat, eggs, salt, water, what could be simpler than that? 1-1/2 years in, and feeling better and better. Keep going!

My mental health is vastly improved on carnivore. No more bloating, IBS, asthma, excema or joint and muscle aches. Strangely enough I don't have motion sickness anymore which made offroading in the mountains last week a lot of fun. Best wishes for continued healing.

What an inspiration!! I too have MS. I also lost my husband in July and have been mourning him and been just plain sad and lonely. I ate crap trying to make myself feel better but that doesn’t work. With my emotions so low along with Widow brain (brain fog) and then all that crap I ate giving me weight gain, headaches I needed a change. I thought if I felt great again then maybe I wouldn’t hit those sad times so much. I was worried that the diet might induce a relapse but clearly your better. It give me hope. I just want to feel physically better and maybe emotionally with have improvement. Thanks.

I think we've all experienced survivor's guilt with carnivore. As our lives improve we see everyone around us struggling. How come I tried carnivore and other's don't? Why did I choose this way of eating? What made me say...why not? And yet others never say it and continue to live in carbohydrate addiction. I'm so thankful God opened my eyes to this way of eating.

The same thing happened to me. Nearly blind overnight in one eye. Steroids cleared my vision. After researching, I switched to keto immediately. It helped but still felt lousy and inflamed. Never had any more symptoms of MS. Now 4 days carnivore. I feel great so far! It's so much easier than keto, imo. I've already lost 5 pounds without trying (I've been trying for 2 years to drop that stubborn fat) and my stomach is nearly flat :)!!!

Love your natural way of presenting, so refreshing. I am carnivore but occasionally have a smidge of clean veg, handful of macadamia nuts or pine nuts, avocado, or a couple of tablespoons of passata on a carnivore pizza. Really rare so I do consider myself carnivore. Keep the faith, this way of eating will pull you through. I love carnivore, I don’t waste any food, I eat once a day for the most part. Shopping easy, prepping is easy, cooking so simple- salt and pepper a piece of pork or steak or chicken thighs and put in the air fryer.
My journey was entirely for health but I am pleased to be lighter than I have been since teens is a bonus. I’m 66 and my skin doesn’t fit but that doesn’t bother me much. My heaviest was around 11 stone and I am now Just under 9 so I haven’t been huge but the elasticity isn’t there any more, but it’s not why I’m doing it. I just want a long healthspan and to die old and healthy.
Been eating this way for years, and I love it.

You look good, not just physically, radiating relief and excitement. I’ve been dabbling with it on and off after a TBI from boxing. Everytime I go back, joint pain disappears, tinnitus gets better, energy improves, depression goes away…but my brainwashed intellectualization about what my body needs, guilts me back to carbs and veggies. But the answer is clear. the only thing I’d say, sometimes is sleep will take a hit and some bowel movement in-continuity

Congratulations on your improved health journey. I too have been on a more strict carnivore diet for approximately a month. Previously on keto with some success but I still had "bad days". And by that I mean the fibromyalgia, among a many other things, that I was diagnosed with decades ago would still poke it's ugly funkin' head out at me. 😒 I could go on and on about the rapid changes I'm experiencing. BUT I find this remarkable and almost shocking to me. . .in the last month I have only needed to take pain meds ONCE! 😯 I used to wake up every single morning and down a bunch of ibuprofen and continue throughout the day with prescription meds. As you stated, the weight loss is just a bonus. I'm so excited about getting rid of inflammation that would cause be to have enough pain to be bed ridden. No more of that shit! 😍 I'm loving this carnivore lifestyle. I actually sort of like getting out of bed in the am. Don't tell my family that though. . .😂 They're used to leaving me alone for an hour or so and I'd like it to stay that way. 😬 I'm in my 50's and they're all grown ass adults as well so it's okay for me to feel that way I think. 🤗
Thank you for sharing your story. 🙂 Your authenticity is attractive. Well done you.

I’m feeling so very much better since I started it (been doing OMAD for about 2 yrs altho I occasionally lapse). I’m down 45lbs and no longer on any prescription drugs. Was vegetarian 30 yrs…my health was getting worse & weight going nowhere but up. Maybe I’m sensitive to oxalates but PHD eliminates them and the inflammation from grains, sugar, and all the weird garbage in processed foods.

I was bedbound with ME/CFS during my 50's and had to give up my Masters degree because of the fatigue and brain fog. I went keto/ carnivore accidentally (because I diidn't have the energy to cook!) but now, at 64, I am no longer bedbound and can be outside with my horses once more. I feel significantly better on OMAD carnivore.
