And its strange how our governments won't promote it. But the supermarkets say otherwise. I fell into the trap of having processed keto foods so will be going on the carnivore without the processed meats for a while.

How long did you have the diabeetus before starting carnivore? I tried a highly carnivorous diet with intermittent fasting for 2 months once. I lost 40 lbs and felt like I was in my early 20s again.

I’ve been on this diet for a couple weeks, the first week was a couple of times in the bathroom, but the second week everything thing is normal! I’ve lost the same amount of weight, but it will slow down, because this is a recovery diet, and as you get better, you rebuild your muscles, and that adds weight. I’m 77, so, looking hot, isn’t my goal, but I’ll take any & all benefits, the diet gives me! I started this diet, because I had gout, and my foot felt like it was on fire! I got some steroid pills, for a week, to relieve the pain, and after 2 days, no pain. But I got on this diet, right away! I’ve never had another gout attack, since! Gout is a great motivator! So I’ll stay on it, just to keep gout, away! Since I started this diet, my arthritis has gotten better, instead of steadily worse! My blood sugar is getting way better, even without my pills! Last night was the first night I slept so deeply, I was having trouble getting steady on my feet, to go to the bathroom! In fact, I almost fell into the shower! I got back to bed and fell right back to sleep! My sleeping arrangement is what you are having! And it is driving my wife wild! She tells me to stay in bed! The knee joint isn’t hurting near as bad! The only thing you can improve on, is playing & exercising with that’s fine looking German Shepherd dog! My experience with steak, is it cooks betta in the air fryer, for 10 min, at 400 degrees! Very tender! It was satisfying coming across your channel, I’ll be a subscriber! 👍🏻

My feet are no longer swollen, the inflammation and the swelling I had in my gut is gone, I am no longer bloated and I no longer have gas lol, and I no longer have cramps and nauseousness when I have to do number two. For me that is a plus and due to carnivore is keeping me from craving sugar cuz I am a pure sugarholic or I was in the past and even though I've craved sugar twice since on this I have not been the knee LOL. It's hard because I also love baking and making bread but it's okay we'll figure that out one day at a time

Been doing it a couple months now. Chicken and pork desire has gone to 0 for me. I actually find both repulsive now if I cook it and try to eat it, which is strange. On the other hand, Beef, fish and turkey I have a very strong desire for when I do get hungry. Heck, don't even get hungry every day anymore either, so some days I don't eat just because of that. It's been eye opening for sure.

you don't get the squirts because it's "cleaning out" anything. You get them because your liver isn't used to producing enough bile to digest the rendered, liquid fat you're eating, so the fat goes right out. Over a few weeks your liver adapts and you can eat more liquid fat. In the meantime you can eat your fat in chilled or solid form.

There is a reason TPTB want you eating bugs, grains and plant based foods. They make you unhealthy. Carnivore has changed my life, at least health wise, for the better. I've modify it to be keto-vore where I added some lower oxalate (oxalates are bad) veggies at dinner, but otherwise, I'm carnivore for 2/3 of the day.

Congrats on the new diet and getting the results! The reason for the bowels changing is the added animal fats consumed and the body is transitioning to the new fat content and amount that this diet requires. So don't worry it will go away soon!

I started carnivore two weeks ago.
I am embarrassed to admit I have over a hundred pounds to lose.
I am a meat eater anyway.
I am trying to get beyond the sugar cravings.
    It is getting easier.
    A couple of things.
I cannot eat very much as I get full fast.
I cannot get over the bathroom differences.
(I assume we are all adults)
If anyone else has experienced extremely loose stools, how long until it even out?

    • @ChrisMcPheeters
      @ChrisMcPheeters 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

Don’t be embarrassed. The first step in any journey, is the first step to success.
I’ve been on carnivore for about 140 days. This month I’m doing the Lion diet. Yes, I had the squirts for most of the time. But, part of it could be the medications I was on. I was taking metoprolol for Arrhythmia. My doctor took me off it about the same time I started the Lion diet. Since then it has settled down substantially. So, I’m thinking the medications didn’t help. Stick with it, it will take time. I spent 63 years eating wrong and messing up my body. I’m going to give it a couple of years to recover. I’m only 3 pounds from my goal weight. Hang in there and stick with it. Best wishes!

Make sure to add liver and animal organ meats too. Try thing you never thought to before, such as beef cheek meat, livers/gizzards/giblets, pig/chicken feet, tripe, etc. The more organ meats you eat the more balanced your vits and minerals will be since they are very highly nutritious parts of the animal.

10:29 For anyone wanting to avoid this, I'd recommend making any dietary changes to be very slow and gradual. Spend at least a month transitioning. Reduce the undesired foods in half the first week, half that again the 2nd week, etc. It should help ease the transition and reduce many unwanted side effects.

    • @GTORazor

So much this👆!! Start slowly with skipping a meal at first like breakfast and have more meat centered meals while avoiding the carbs and sugar. Smaller amounts of any food will produce results pretty quickly.

So I did carnivore for 30 days about 4 months ago. The first week went well then after that I noticed some difficulties. There was a 3 day stretch I didnt eat anything. I mean I cooked steak or hamburger, took a bite and then wouldnt be feeling it. I didn’t have headaches or anything like that during the 30 days minus some muscle cramps. The last two weeks anytime I tried to eat steak(ribeye) I would gag as soon as I put it into my mouth. This didn’t make sense to me because I F****** love steak. I ended up feeling very well overall but struggle with the eating. Didn’t anyone else deal with this or something similar? I’m starting again tomorrow but would like to know I’m not the only one who has experienced this
