Some guy It depends on the circumstances. You’ll note that in the story with the deaf kid, OP “gently pulled him out of the way.” Would the kid he justified in “defending himself in any way possible?” Or knocking OP’s teeth out? Maybe even killing OP? The paranoid psychopaths who replied to you think so.
Imagine that you’re in a grocery store and you feel a tap on your shoulder. With your zero tolerance for physical touching you turn around elbowing the offender in the face. Then you see your mother lying on the ground with a broken nose crying. Does that seem sane to you? Get a grip people.

I want to address a common misconception the helpful woman from the first story made, when she was teaching about pads & tampons. Since a lot of people don't seem to understand how tampon sizing works, this is something really everyone should know. Tampon size is about your flow, not the size of your 🐱, it's about blood absorption, and how much each size can hold. Meaning if you have a heavy flow, you need the bigger size, if you have a smaller flow, it needs to be smaller. So if you're buying for someone else, or yourself, buy for the flow, not the 🐱 size. I know it's a bit uncomfortable to learn about, but this stuff obviously isn't taught enough.
Also loved the stories today as usual fluff, still my favorite narrator on yt

Most tampons (mostly the plastic applicators) are meant to be extremely streamlined and smooth, so they glide easily, and work for anyone of any size.

My brother is a videographer, nearly having a monopoly over Community Theater and such in northeast New Jersey. He uses three or more cameras, and the editing always comes across super professional.
One production and which we worked was a children's play, the premise of which pulled several children from the audience to perform (essentially improv) in a version of _Snow White._
One of the performances had one little girl who effectively took over the show. When one of the adults in the show made a "suggestion" as to how to proceed, the girl literally began conveying the entire storyline of what _was_ to happen, and once she'd finished, the same adult cast member after a brilliant beat simply said, "She makes a good point..."
Meanwhile in the audience, as the girl's amused father conveyed to us later (as he filled out an order form for the DVD), as he watched his daughter becoming the spotlight in the show, he realized, 'Well, I guess I'm buyin' a DVD...'
My brother had acquired the names of each of the children, so that they would have legitimate credit (even if any of their parents didn't order a DVD), but for the little girl who took over, he literally made a *Special Guest Appearance By...* credit for her... she really deserved it.

And the number of Karen's that insisted I look at them while they were -talking to- yelling at me was ridiculous. And it was usually for something like the pool hours. As if they hadn't walked past at least four signs stating it in order to reach the pool deck. One person stood silently right behind my chair (which puts the guards butt about level with the average person's shoulders) and got *pissed* I didn't notice them. Like hmmm, maybe because I couldn't see you?

As a female who works for a retail drug store chain, I’ve helped a lot of guys get feminine products for their wives, girlfriends, sisters etc. it’s not just pads and tampons but make up, hair products etc. Thankfully I’ve spared my husband having to get those things for me.
I once had a guy in the feminine hygiene products section and he was picking up a lot of pads and tampons. When I asked if he needed help he told me he’s the dad of 3 teenage girls and his wife still uses this stuff so he knows what they like.

Re: Pads with Wings, and Tampons...
I cut my teeth in retail as a stock boy / cashier in a hole-in-the-wall drug store. I put everything on the shelves from toothpaste to maternity menstrual pads (the ones you use when you have a cave down there). When I got married the wife and I ended up with 3 girls and a boy. "Paper products" were a thing. Every so often I'd hear an anguished cry from the bathroom, "Daddy! I'm out of paper products." This would start a walk through the house. "Listen up, girls, I'm headed to the drug store. Anyone need anything?" I'd have paper and pen in hand to take orders. I became a master at finding the right brand, right size, wings or no wings, etc. To this day (I'm 75) my girls think I'm the best daddy that ever lived. And guys, just so you know, it isn't difficult to check the package they just emptied and get the same thing again. The benefits of doing this are amazing.

Story 1: I understand how OP feels but as a “dance child” myself, whether the parents ever watched them or not, I used to watch my videos over and over again. Especially when it was time for another recital and I had to be on stage. I was always scared of doing the onstage performances in front of so many people but watching my old videos always gave me the courage to just get out there and do the routine because “you’ve done this before and you can do it now”. Sadly I did participate in a couple performances that weren’t allowed to be recorded because the routine was to remained secret for the dance competitions our school participated in. So in the long run it kinda sucked because I can’t show my kids the really fun acrobatic routines I got to be part of but the idea of “secret routines” finally got my kids to want to also dance. 🤣🤣

Second story, can confirm. People see uniform, think “You can help me!” And turn off their brains to any further details. Had that happen so many times working an airline ticket counter. “What do you mean you can’t check me in for the United flight?”
    “I work for American Airlines.”
“Well can you go get someone who can?”
“Nope. Totally different company, and my badge doesn’t work on their doors, and my radio is on a completely different frequency. I physically cannot get someone, nor can I call for someone.”
“Can’t you just rebook me on your flight then?”
“Sure, if you want to buy a new ticket.”
    “But I already paid!!”
“You paid United, not American. I can’t just take control of their ticket. One of their agents has to transfer it over.”
“Can you get one of their agents?”
I understand the urgency to get on a flight that the person is probably running late for because they thought they could just walk in 15 minutes before departure, but that doesn’t mean I can help them when they aren’t even a customer of my airline

Lol the story with the boyfriend in the feminine section. It reminds me of a story where my friends father had to go buy underwear as well as feminine hygiene products. My friend told her father her pant size is not the same for underwear but if you know the general measurements for a pant size (which on some packages are listed) you can compare it on the chart the back of the underwear package. Then she then told him to remember for the pads number 3. Well he really didn't listen well. Lol he came back with underwear labeled the same size as her pants which if anyone knows is huge as hell (think underwear for a 600 lb plus person or a tent). As for the pads... lol he complained that they don't sell pads in 3s. So, if any guy needs help in that section I am willing to help because no one wants a failure of a shopping trip like that. The lady really needed to chill.

And during our shorter underway periods (3-6 weeks) I worked the night shift. Around 1930-0730 (7:30pm - 7:30am for you land lubbers). When I got off my shift in the morning, I would eat breakfast, go to the gym or library or whatever I felt like doing. Sometimes I would run into one of the daytime supervisors from my division and they would say something stupid like "If you're not going to your rack, I can find you some work to do!" Like, just because I'm not on shift, doesn't mean I have to sleep all day! It was so stupid. Everybody walking around overweight, not passing physical readiness tests because you spend a good 10 hours of your day sleeping! It was crazy.
