- Hello Everyone! Its Tiffany with Thrifting Vegas. I shop at thrift stores, estate sales, garage sales and discount stores for items I can resell for a profit on online platforms like eBay, Poshmark and Offer-Up. The Most Amazing Goodwill in Las Vegas delivered again! Thrift with me as I find amazing treasures for resale on Ebay.... bolos like a Portmeirion plate, bird sun catchers, cat face wine glasses and even an antique haunted mirror! Don't miss the mysterious ghostly apparition that I captured on film at the Denver Zoo. You continue to be my favorite site, by far. Direct, clear, concise…. I am shocked, shocked by the quality, quantity and low cost of the treasures available there. Not in Connecticut. As an 88 year old, knowing that many young people have zero interest in such treasures, I am happy that thrifters, like you, are preserving such items.

That Old Mirror scenario has freaked me out! It's even bizarre how the woman gave it to you. You made it sound like she couldn't wait to get rid if it! I hope it is no longer in your position. Sometimes, some pieces come with attachments to them. That Mirror seems to definitely have an attachment riding along with it. That gave off a very negative vibe. Hope you and yours are safe. You should put a sign in book at your booth, no names just "hi from (place) to see where people are shopping from. Locals vs tourists and from where. Just an idea. :)

I'm so amazed at how much you have at your Goodwills. Our local ones don't have many hard goods. Lots of clothes.
Goodwiils in DC area are pitiful.
The goodwills in Ocala, Florida and surrounding towns are the worst of the worst. Absolute garbage. Clothes galore. Minimal hard goods.
One of the my friends had a large dinning room table she had each place setting completely different and different chairs to boot. It was so much fun and I'll never forget all the times we shared good and stories ....but I u drrstabd where people want to match.
What I really love is the stone tissue holder. So pretty 😃 I have a fish tank with real shells in it and I’d love to get that abalone shell.

I have a haunted mirror hanging in my entryway. You wouldn't BELIEVE what we've seen in that thing, from orbs to shadowy figures and outlines. So much fun!

LOL I’m glad I’m not the only one! I was laughing envisioning a Seinfeld episode where Elaine pokes herself in the eye. Or decides someone else reds a drink and,when they demur, she decides to force the issue ad pokes THEM in the eye asking her ad her friends have to hide and try to escape! LOL

The onyx tissue holder you got is called "Honey Onyx" and it's from the 1970s. My aunt's multi-million dollar estate had lots of honey onyx items.

The picture was so creepy! It looks like our gem collection at the Denver museum of nature and science - the rhodochrosite display :) Which is right next door to the zoo. I'm going to have to look closer next time we go :P

That single shaker at a glance looked to be a ‘sugar caster’ used on the breakfast table for cereal. Vintage ceramic Sugar Casters are sort after and expensive in Australia.
I had those same ceramic balls back in the early 2000's- they are from Pier One.

Tiffany I have a great idea for you as a display piece. It's one I've used several times in the 40+ years I've been a florist.
Get a pretty, clear, glass pitcher, bunch up clear cellophane ( the heavy duty kind that florist use to wrap flowers with NOT cling wrap you use for food.) You need the stiffness to give that cracked ice look. Loosely bunch it up and put it in the pitcher don't be stingy, about an inch below the rim of the pitcher. You want people to think it is ice, not cellophane. Next use those fake lemon and lime slices between the glass and cellophane so it looks like the lemon and lime slices are floating in a pitcher of "Ice Cold Lemon Aid" add clear water in the pitcher. Use a little sign stating for display only, and you are good as gold. Maybe set a bowl or basket on top of the pitcher with more of those whole lemons. ( so nobody trys to drink it) Let me know if you like my suggestion. If not, it's ok. Knock wood mate.
Just recently found your channel. I lived in Henderson Nevada from 1983 to 2009. My hubby and i moved to Pahrump Nevada. I wish i could drive to vegas but that isn't possible. I miss the craft and thrift stores. I don't miss the crowds of traffic. Good luck with your booth

I’ve listened to a prophet in Africa give a teaching on mirrors. Dark spirits travel through them. Think of all the dark mirror stories. Like “Mirror Mirror on the Wall”
I agree. Anything I buy at Goodwill etc. I keep out side for 4 days and release any and all energy other than Love and Light. Everything that was prior owned will carry an energy print ...Depends how sensitive you are. But real.

Loved everything you found! I just want to know two things... Did the mirror have a GW sticker or did this person bring it into the store and hand it to you out of the blue? And did you take it home or drop it like a hot potato? *shiver*

That image next to you in that mirror freaked me out. Are you planning on keeping it or selling it? My husband won't let me buy thrifted mirrors for that very reason. So glad you are back! Sure wish my Goodwill had good prices like yours!
