It's hot! Went to the swap meet early Saturday with my friend and fellow TH-cam reseller @SonnyLasVegas . I truly felt like I was going to pass out by the time we were done but that didn't stop us from hitting some yard sales on the way home also! See what amazing finds we purchased for resale in this thrift with me adventure! When I say I got trolled I mean in the most awesome way!

Pick up those doilies, Danni ! They are going to be "in vogue" again soon, so grab 'em before others do! I worked at a huge gift shop in the 80s and early 90s and fell in love with fairylights, so I started buying them and thrifting for them before people cared much about them. Now I have about 110-120! I don't know if I can part with mine but at the prices they get for them now, I think I'll be trying ;-)

You mentioned Ron Lee sculptures. I went to school with Ron, we graduated in 1965 from high school in Los Angeles California. He was the sweetest guy, cute and had a great sense of humor. We had all our art classes together. Sadly Ron passed away a few years ago. Maybe that makes his art more valuable. He is missed. Your videos are the best!

Been watching and learning for you for awhile. Yesterday you said to go down aisles that you normally don't just in case an item was put back in the wrong section. Today I went down the basket aisle that I usually skip and found a nice well made ceramic succulent planter. It was tucked behind a few baskets. I bought it for $4.5 and plan to sell for at least $25. So thanks for the tip. 😊

I saw one of your videos when Hope was sick but I never heard her/his back story. Having been in pit bull rescue for over 15 years I thought I had heard it all, apparently not. That’s an awful story, so glad she/he is doing so much better.

I am loving this Swap Meet but at the 29:42 mark you picked up the sweetest vintage clear plastic little purse with posies and a compact in it. If you ever go back and that is there, I would love to have it. It took me right back to my little girl self. Sonny seems like the sweetest guy. Tell him I subscribed to his channel. :-)

@Rose Rollins. I am new to Oklahoma from Colorado mountains and am not used to the heat at all. I remember the 113 degree days when staying with my best friend in Las Vegas. This humid heat is a different kind of dragon for sure. I bet it’s really humid in SC too! That is so cute about your cat! I got my new little dog a stone tile to lay on. It’s much cooler for her and she loves it! Maybe a cat would too!

Actually that isn't true! If they feel they can get away they are much braver initially!
All of ours came to us already clipped and poorly I might add - it takes a long time for them to grow back.
We allow our birds to be flighted as it is better for their health, they can burn off calories as they were intended.
@@TheNICHELady It's all about choices. But it IS true, I've seen it myself many times. I've had birds for over 25 years. You have your niche, I have mine.
If you see shoes like those again, GRAB them. Even if they are to big or small for Noah. Those were Italian leather dress shoes. They are were worth over 100.00 +

One thing I learned on another sellers site is, if that metal bar on a "Guitar Hero" guitar spins al the way around, then it's broken. It shouldn't be able to do that.
I remember growing up with those spice jars they came in a wooden rack that originally held 8-10 bottles. 4-5 in the top row, and the same on the bottom.

sadly im going to have to stop going anywhere with gas being so high and Thank God for online church because otherwise I would miss out on that too . The grocery store and work are it for a very long time .I dont know how anyone is affording to go anywhere other than work and grocery . I do pray hopes former owner was charged with animal abuse . I want to stick people like that in a cage and forget about them .

My 80 year old Aunt went out yesterday to feed her Gophers as she has many!!!! She thinks about 30 to 40 she doesn't know. That what we call them in Florida Gophers, and my son will stop anywhere day or night to help a Gopher in a dangerous situation, usually to close to being road kill. I'm happy to know we're not alone being advocates for the super slow glorious creatures. ✨

I was born and raised In Las Vegas and my mom was a garage sale/thrift store maniac!! She is now 84 and still will never go a week without hitting at least one if not both. God Bless you for passing on to others this fun way to buy original stuff that won't break the bank.

The fish at 37:00 is the Pout Pout Fish and there are numerous books about him. I wonder since they seem so prevalent, if you paired them with their book or books (I see a lot of the in bins and garage sale videos) if they could become profitable? Not high dollar, but could be consistent sellers! As a teacher, I am a collector of Kohls Characters for sure when we do character studies of the books.

Hi Danni, we love your videos - short or long! Please don't stress too much about filming. Today's video could have been split into 2 and we would have happily watched them over 2 days. Possibly 3. I notice some other thrifting TH-camrs have been sticking to the approx 20 min mark and stockpiling videos that way so that they can get their shopping done in 1 or 2 days per week and concentrate on the aspects of business for the rest of the week. Maybe that will help?
