    In the past 18 months since I went Vegan I feel the best I have ever felt. My stools come once a day at the same time everyday, and are of the consistency you said is best! Thanks for addressing this awkward subject!

    I have always been constipated, ever since I was a tiny little baby. Through the years I have tried everything to make it better. All kinds of drinks, foods, seeds, beans and exercises. All the things you mentioned did help me more or less, but I never got to the full healthy type. I needed medication + diet + exercise + lots of water to make it work. Great video! All this information needs to be shared!

      Sounds like ibs (irritable bowel syndrome) to me. It’s quite common. I could very well be wrong. You should probably see a doctor if you haven’t already

    I have been sick for almost 30 days in total. I had diarhea for DAYS and finally went to see the doctor. I had acid reflux, and blood infection... now my stool is getting better... I am really really keen to live a healthily lifestyle again.

    Thanks for discussing this topic. Poop is a very important indicator on our gut and overall health. If you gut is not healthy, then your not healthy.

    I learned something new from this video and thank you Joanna for educating your viewers about what our Poop says about our health which I'll be paying more attention to what shape my body poops out. I wish our bodies didn't need to Poop at all especially because it's bad enough that our bodies gets hungry every few hours which makes me envious of certain types of animals such as snakes that can survive without food for weeks/months unlike us humans. I hate whenever my body has to Poop especially multiple days in a row and multiple times in one day.

    Ciao Joanna, whatching you from Italy what about type 7 but only once a day? it is not clearly diarrhoea but what can it mean? sometimes I can see mucus on the surface the smell is quite "strong" but I don't have bellyache or other symptoms as far as I know I don't have food intolerance or stomach issues thanks for videos always really interesting very understandable and you are really really nice :o)

    Thank you for this post. I have had 4 surgeries this year and have been on and off of narcotics for pain since Jan 11th. I have only physically been present at work for almost three weeks this year becuase of multiple surgeries and recovery periods. Let me tell you, those narcotics are a show stopper. Literally! I drink tons of water and take Metamucil, or citracel, softeners, and laxatives. But this many months later still trying to find the perfect balance. Most of this year it looks like a huge rabbit has used my toilet!!🤦‍♀️

    Poo is soft but scary appearance. Appearance is like tree bark, sometime skinny slivers, sometimes one was in shape of a small fish, complete with a finned tail. Weird? I think so too.

    The consistency and colour of my stool is fine, but recently I've noticed I sometimes see white coloured mucus in my poop. Once or twice there has been a lot of it, sometimes there's none or barely any. I suspect a food intolerance or sensitivity.
    Any advice on this?

      The excessive mucus secretion is from the over active large intestine and nothing to do with food intolerance sensitivity.
      One of the reasons could be mental stress.

    hi joanna, for about 6mos without physical activities, i started again by morning walk, jumping (by skipping rope) i noticed my poop for 2weeks now has fresh blood. is coming back to physical activities may have caused it? thank you so much and stay safe

      I think its more likely you had like ulcers from a sedentary life that popped and gave you a little blood. Did you never had issues before like constipation and then pain when pooping? Blood loss is not necessarily a problem as long as most of your poop is normal and healthy. Do consult with your md if this persists or gets worse...
      Don t let the blood stop you from doing physical activity! Being ACTIVE in a consistent way will prevent hemarroids from coming back again!

      When you begin physical activity, make sure to begin lightly and gradually increase the intensity to prevent your guts from becoming over active which can cause constipation.

    I am drinking a glass of cold water mixed with a table spoon of chia seed every morning plus i drink almost 2l of water a day and i have notice that i poop everyday but my poop has traces of chia seeds..

    It's been 2 weeks I recovered from covid and my poop still looks like 5-6

      then you need more time to completely recover from covid. That's why..

      Oooo yeah.. caffeine helps me when I have constipation. But if it’s causing you to poop 💩 too frequently, then you definitely want to reduce it.
