2009 - the year Patton's 20 year long streak of musical ingenuity died, which is a pretty good run! Sure, he's done some OK to good things from time to time, such as Bacteria Cult, or Templars In Sacred Blood (Oddfellows I enjoyed too), but creativity wise, it's not what it was. Even Fantomas, any show they did after 2009 just wasn't the same at all. It has no where near the same energy as they had before. This show is great though. Not too different from how they placed a decade before. I guess it's just age for you. Re-joining Faith No More must have fucked with his mind a bit, or something.
