Definitely, the look on Mike's face at the end, he was part of that for a reason but still was in awe he was sharing the stage with them. Love finding gems like this👌
I've been thinking about it for a while Mike patton needs to be the next James Bond theme performer!...it's a perfect match to all he's done, it's gotta happen!
No doubt. One of my musical highlights was watching him play with Charlie Hunter at the Vancouver jazz fest 2 decades ago. Can anyone be more into it than Joey?
wow.. love it! Thanks for this! I will never get bored of Mike Patton. everything he does I find truly awesome. His voice is simply my favourite sound in the world
Patton has to be one of the most versatile vocalists of all time man. FNM, Bungle, Fantomas Dillinger, Tomahawk, Mondo Cane, Bjork collabs, Zorn, countless soundtracks, the list just goes on and on. The dude has covered so much ground at this point.
Osaka Bondage is basically a Bungle song, and I absolutely love it. Shame it's so short but the greats know not to overstay their welcome. Zapata Rail gives me serious "Whiplash" vibes with John's conducting. ...In a good way. I sort of feel bad for the other two vocalists. They're fantastic but matching Mike Patton's energy/vocals is a rough ask. All of the musicians featured are absolute masters. Everyone performing is giving their absolute best and it shows. What a treat. I'm glad YT exists or I would have never heard this.
other wordly... Patton blows my fucking mind every single time, can not express how much i love him and everything that he does... i believe there are two kinds of people in this world, the ones that now about Mike Patton and those that don't...
That last song is awesome. Well, the whole video is. Can't believe I didn't know Ribot and Patton shared the same stage. I want a whole album of those two.

I met Zorn after one of his first Masada shows with Trevor Dunn, Kenny Wolleson and Ben Goldberg and I thought he was joking when he told me he would probably record 100 Masada records. He was not joking.
Best jam I have seen in a long time; dont know how I missed this... but yet again Patton leaves me speechless.. my alter ego... Zorn and company kill it too. Thank you for this!!!!!! Needed it!!!!
Wow, logged in with thought of delirium cordia but without typing or searching see Mikes faces This is some really good suggestion from YT al-go-rhythm at 3am 😀 magic Muchas gracias
I waited for it and I sure wasn't let down, Ive been watching these musicians age for about 15 years now and I'm so glad I've had them to grow old to myself.
Dear fellow fans, please help. I've been listening to this version of Of Wonder and Certainty a million times in the past 10 years, it became one of my all-time favorites. I can't find the lyrics for it, which would greatly help me sing it "properly" every now and then when I return home late at night a bit tipsy and inspired.
he just gets better & better,i told my uncle of the xmas song he does live at warsaw,& right in the bit where patton goes ape singing zapita rail my uncle sreamed out happy fucking xmas"!u really had to be there.more of that jz & lay off the amphet!outstanding
Thanks for posting, feels like they were grooving pretty hard; I wish I was there. Do you have, or know where I could find recordings of this whole concert? Thanks again.
I don't often go back to comment sections regularly, especially after so long of first hearing it but I had a peek tonight. So oops, I'm very late, it seems. If you never knew, I'll assume you don't as your comment is new to me :) No, I'm sure you know by now. It's called: 'Assassins bay' [ Our in-house Dostoevsky ] & quite frankly is one of the most beautiful, exciting & macabre songs ever written in my opinion. Mike never fails to hit in places you didn't know existed. Not to forget the other legends in this awesome lineup.

I was there! I was 23 and those were great times. Beautiful show, powerful music.
There are some incredible musicians performing here. We're lucky to hear them and enjoy their talent.
Definitely, the look on Mike's face at the end, he was part of that for a reason but still was in awe he was sharing the stage with them. Love finding gems like this👌

yes!
Absolutely!
Still no Bond theme but at least we got Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles instead
Y E S
Just listened Jon & Mike's rendition of the Ballad of Hank McCain.
Those two uniting to do a 007 theme?
All the yesses.
OMG!!!I LOVE JOEY BARRON!!!! What a joy it must be to see him live. So full of life and enjoyment.
No doubt. One of my musical highlights was watching him play with Charlie Hunter at the Vancouver jazz fest 2 decades ago. Can anyone be more into it than Joey?
Man, Trevor Dunn is on almost every Mike Patton's Projects!
Tomahawk, Fantomas, Mondo Cane and various John Zorn albums
He replaced Kevin Rutmanis in Tomahawk, which did most of the work.
Rutmanis's dark, psycho soul suited Tomahawk perfectly.
Dunn & Patton started Mr. Bungle in high school together.
Mr bungle
One and Dunn. The guy just has that ham and cheese man. He will slap down the fixins.
@@nopartyleftthatsworthit4330 how dare you
Joey Baron having way too much fun up there. Man, what a collection of talent!
completely overlooked first time watching that that is Trevor Dunn on bass. so great!!!
My favorite bassist
It's Trevor!
wow.. love it! Thanks for this! I will never get bored of Mike Patton. everything he does I find truly awesome. His voice is simply my favourite sound in the world
Closest thing to new Mr Bungle we will probably get. All amazing musicians and compositions by Zorn

Osaka bondage is naked city.
This is a thing of beauty

John Zorn is a Superhero....he should wear a Cape.
listened to this a couple dozen times and it still blows my mind!
So perfection exists.
That vocal chords solo on Zapata Rail is something else
That last song is awesome. Well, the whole video is. Can't believe I didn't know Ribot and Patton shared the same stage. I want a whole album of those two.
Ribot played on Patton's second solo album on Tzadik. Not that it's very good, but they do go back.
why don't you just watch all the concerts and albums on u tube?
Oh my, I've just found this. So beautiful

It's so cool to see Lex Luthor playing the Batman song.
dunn, patton and zorn, fuck yeah!!!!!! This style is definitely that must follow mike patton, like mondo cane and the album california of mr.bungle.
It's awesome!
All brilliant songs, but 11:40 on is a joy to listen to. Love the guitar.

Joey Baron is like a golden retriever who is also immensely skilled at improvisational thrash jazz.
Marc ribot is so underrated

Mike Patton is the best vocalist in the world!
Trevor Dunn amazing like always
Love It !

the drummer is smiling, the guitarplayer is really hanging in there-it is funny how different musicians can be while playing toghether.

10:14 "Could you fucking believe what that guy has just done with his voice?"
Mike Patton is the best vocalist ever, have you listened to Fantomas?
Of course I know Patton ;). I was just "quoting" what was Zorn's face saying in the min 10:14 :P
I waited for it and I sure wasn't let down, Ive been watching these musicians age for about 15 years now and I'm so glad I've had them to grow old to myself.

Wäre auch diesmal zu gerne dabei gewesen! LG an Mike and the Crew!

Very interesting combination...
More focus on Medeski´s hands next time, cameraman
Appreciate it!
Damn. I knew Marc Ribot was a great guitarist, but I’ve never heard him tear it up like this before!

John Zorn/Joey Baron aka naked city ;)
