This was very informative. Thanks, man.
Youre like the best gear review/recommendation channel thanks alot for the vids. Makes setting up a budget comms so easy
Thank for the great info bud!!👍
Appreciate the video. I recently picked up a helmet and was looking for ear pro options and I sure as hell wasn't buying a set of comtacs. Luckily I had a set of Peltor rangeguards and picked up the arc rail adapters from peltor. Match made in heaven. Just need to pick up a mic and cable.
This video probably just saved me days of indecisiveness on how to do ear pro on a helmet I'm about to buy (Team Wendy Exfil LTP) and I could just buy that with the mount adaptor they offer for peltors
Thanks for the review
Keep em coming boyz
Good video as always brother
Thanks
Just got the Peltors after watching this, and replaced with Prohear GEP01 cups. Feel great but massive pain to install.
I've got those prohear cups on my range guards. You have to trim them to make them fit right
I had 20$ wire mounts but they had too much play in them to stay tight. Paid 45 for real 3m ones and they fit like the headset does.
The peltors also fit nice if you’re running ACH.
I need to do this so bad.
Amazing video man! Do you know if this works with some of the other models such as tac100/300?
thanks for video
Have you wore the peltor with the headband and if you did, how does it compare with it being mounted onto the helmet in terms of comfort?
Is it easy to take these apart to put on the arc rail ? I have them both coming in tmrw
So I followed your advice and bought the Rangeguards. I also have a similar cheapo Chinese helmet and a $20 rail adapter bought on Amazon (not the original Peltor one, like yours). Now that I've pieced everything together, there is a big problem: barely any seal at all. Like, the cups are slightly touching my ears and maybe cut off a couple of decibels, but that's it. I could try twisting the metal clamps a bit with pliers but dunno if that will help.
When taking the peltors off the headband how do you remove the wiring without cutting the headband?
