  • Finally got stuck into the electrical side and the wiring loom, using the Tenet module. And half way through a surprise package arrived from Ozzie with some cool 3d printed parts!

Awesome job explaining your thought process as usual. You must be itching to get this project on the road. Cant wait to see the next episode

Wondering if you still have the diagram of how you connected the aftermarket left and right switches to the original wires

On that too I'd just run another ground to the point under the tank from the battery, saves a lot of headaches later. That coil cover might need some "modification" to fit lol!

I have a second thick ground running from the frame. Under the tank to the ground point down below the coils. Routed fairly easily.

Hello, nice work! Can you please let me know what speedometer you have and maybe where you got it from? Thanks!

Sure, it came along with the Tenet that I purchased from fiveaces.hk and it's part of the Cafe Racer kit.

The lunchbox is not so bad.
Do never use petrolium, like white spirit of any sort.
The ventholes on the backside are stupid. Plugg them total. A small hole in the bottom with a house for compressed air into the glovesbox or something dry.
Change the rubberseal between the parts if it bad
Change the lightbulbs if it is opened.
Look out for the wireing of the bike. Germans cant wire electrics. Change to better quality cabels. Change cabels for ignitionlock to a quality can resist bending better.
Take away the plastic surounding cables and replace with a plastic spiral . Water !
If ABS. Change capacitors in the controlbox. Take photos and make drawings.
    Not difficult but takes time.
A helpful trick in damp climates. A deciliter 2stroke oil in the tank can help injectors in ther spring. Drive about 100 km .
In the forks good hydraulic oli ISO VG 32 (the most common) .
To oilfilter . If it rotates in the tool, try 5cm cardboard between it and the filter.
Both the oilfilter and the fuelfilter are the same as same some cars.
