    This was incredibly informative and useful for those of us scouring the internet for resources on K builds! Please upload more content concerning your K build products, they’re awesome!

    Very interesting thanks for sharing. Worth thinking about for my K race bike build. The power increase in terms of £ per hp is pretty good, all K bikes seem to run horribly rich. What incremental gains would you expect adding the billet throttle bodies, cams and flowed head? In your experience do the pod filters affect running compared with an air box?

    • @kinghamracing
      @kinghamracing  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The billet throttle bodies are only available for the 16v head. With cams and flowed head you should see at least another 20% increase. Pod filters seem to run OK but they are going to be feeding warmer air because they are partially behind the radiator, an air box with a cool air feed from the front would be preferential in terms of performance.

    Hi, I have a custom K100 2V and I was wondering if it would be possible to use your kit together with the 2v throttle bodies by adapting the TPS to them. I guess the power gain is mostly because of the leaner mixture and not only because of the larger 4V throttle bodies (although that has a similar outcome)? Theoretically you’d have better torque at low ends with the standard tb‘s because of the faster flowing air at the smaller diameter…
    Cheers,
    Richard

      @kinghamracing  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes that would work, if you can adapt the 16v TPS to fit the 8v throttle bodies. Performance gain on 1mm smaller/larger TB's is probably negligible.

    I have a question: Assume you have a 8 valve K bike and I see you have pod filters and I wonder how do you place/connect your MAF sensor ( the unit sitting the original air filter box. Thanks very much and it's a cool video that K bikes finally have some mod to go fast 👍

    • @kinghamracing
      @kinghamracing  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The system means you don't need to fit the MAF, so you can fit pod filters if you wish or any type of air intake. at 5:20 into the vid you can see the parts from the stock system that are no longer needed. Thanks.

    • @kinghamracing
      @kinghamracing  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes regarding the MAF/AFM. With the K75 you still need a set of 16v Throttle bodies, just with #1 TB removed.@@emmanuelreynoso5770

    Then a 16v will only need a dyno tune ? As I have recently picked up a 92 k1100lt. 🇨🇦

    • @kinghamracing
      @kinghamracing  ปีที่แล้ว

      Obviously the 16v already has the required throttle bodies but the TPS still needs the mod and most of the other info in the video is relevant.

      If you install this with m-unit will you still need the relays? or can you wire it without them. I rewired my bike with no relay's except the temp sensor unit for the cooling fan. @@kinghamracing

    • @kinghamracing
      @kinghamracing  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You would only need a relay for the fuel pump and the cooling fan. Both of which are run by the ecu and can be set in the software. You can set prime time for the fuel pump at key on and the temp at which the fan comes on and off. The system uses the stock K water temp sensor.@@mechealkolefire1574

    K100 8V had originall 90 HP. Why had this engine befor only 68hp? If all would have been okay, the increasement would have been only 3hp?

      they were quoted as 90hp at the crank, which is around 75hp at the rear wheel. Our dyno is reading rear wheel hp.
