Woodness goodness referred your TH-cam channel so I'm checking you out for a while hope things go good. For you and the elements you deal with keep on keepin on
I was eating a nice warm bowl of soup while watching and pretending that I was looking out my window. That’s a lot of snow the chickens said no thank you to going out in the snow lol thanks for sharing
Get er done and hunker down… Old man winter is upon you. We’ve had the high winds and rain, more rain and still more to come over the next 10 days straight (To be expected in our rainforest area of the South Western Coast, BC). At which point, your snow is looking cold but enticing. I was gonna laugh, but I’m not kidding. Good job on the chicken wiring, now let the winds blow!
Yup, winter arrived with vengeance. Lol. I know is cold, shoveling snow is tiresome but that view from the cabin, call me crazy but it is beautiful. Until your next video.
Your place looks like mine right now. Here in Santa Fe, NM we received 27” of snow yesterday. The leaves were still on the trees so I’ve been out shaking the snow off the trees so they don’t break. I feel like I’m in Alaska, but I don’t have a snow blower. Me and my husband have been shoveling, and now we’re both so sore. Beautiful though.
Sean glad that’s you and not me lol got the tree up and was gonna post it on your Facebook but I can’t see where. Anyway, fun video, enjoy your weekend!
You gotta paint that A white on that chicken sign. That's just silly. Looks like you got one of the signs that were made before they corrected the grammar. 😂
Here in the Arab Gulf countries, the summer season starts from June to September, and the lowest temperature in summer is 104 F, the average is 113 F, and the highest is 122 F. Today, November 14, 2024, at 2:30 PM, the temperature is 92 F. We consume a lot of electricity for air conditioners, but Thank God we are a country that produces fuel, so the prices are reasonable. By the way, in the winter season we have bitter cold without snow, and even foreigners from countries where it snows cannot stand the cold here.
My neighbor came over today and helped remove the AC from my window. We officially had warmest October in recorded history. Finally feels like fall. It was a chilly 50f Wednesday morning. So thankful I don't have to mess with that white stuff. Moving it looks like work.
Alaska is my favorite state ❤️ besides my own home state of NY. So I had to subscribe to your channel. Beautiful chickens. I love me some snow Haven't had any come upon us yet here in New York but we will soon. Can't wait to see the cabin when it's done.
Yay snow.. is it a dry snow ? kinda looked like it.. hi Sean.. hope your weekend is going well.. hey can you hold the chickens? I’ve been around some that love being held and almost purr like a cat..😂..anyway nice pics.. looks so beautiful ..🩷☮️
Usually we have drier snow, this stuff was in the wet side. I can, and do, pick up the chickens...the rooster though no. He still shys away from me lol
I leave the snow on the RV, it does not travel. I remove the snow off the truck so it does not become a hazard to other drivers while I am on the road.
If you put plastic wrap on outer side of insulation in cold climate, your condensation point will be before moisture barrier and moisture will not dry out. You want let insulation breath in cold climate, means need to use some other types of insulation stabilizers, breathable in first place.
Great video Sean. So glad the Ladies and Black Beauty's and Sam is doing well. That's alot of snow too. Did you see the pair of eagles on that tree where they usually are yet?
It's a hidden plan. If you'll do everything right in one swing - you'll not get an ideas for future videos. I think we might grumble a bit, but enjoy content from Sean.
At this point, no. It is hard enough for me to get 1 video out a week lol....but since youtube allows me to let members watch early, I figured it was an easy way to show my appreciation.

How about some hardware cloth to keep the insulation in place ?? Also, to keep critters out ??
That was the original plan, but the cost on that stuff is ridiculous! Lol
Stay warm and good to see at least Sam was having fun😅
Sam is always watching the flock lol
Yup, winter arrived with vengeance. Lol.
I know is cold, shoveling snow is tiresome but that view from the cabin, call me crazy but it is beautiful. Until your next video.
There is something soothing about shoveling new snow. The view is incredible through the windows as it falls!
New snow makes life look beautiful. That bird sounds stressed out! Aren’t you happy to be out of the trailor?❤❤❤
I am very happy! Lol

I saw that your area was getting massive snow! Never overdo it! I take many breaks while clearing snow.
Sean glad that’s you and not me lol got the tree up and was gonna post it on your Facebook but I can’t see where. Anyway, fun video, enjoy your weekend!
Just message it to me from the Facebook group! Lol

Brother Will bought that for the chickens hahhahahhahha
I asked, you delivered! I can't wait to start shoveling snow again! lol
😂🤣😂 it is fun to start, but by March I am usually done with it haha!
I live in Idaho n I’m not ready for snow ❄️ quite yet. Fingers crossed it’ll wait just a little while longer! Keep warm!
That's what I call fun! Snow ball fight anyone. Hot coco, grill some hot dogs and hamburgers. Don't forget the bonfire. Thanks Sean. Stay safe.
Love the snow up here but I'm trucklessnow, it's a bit different...
Ugh! That makes it tough to get around!
That was fun! Thanks ❤❤❤❤

Crazy climates! I do understand the cold in winter for you guys...most folks do not realize that desert climates get crazy cold!
Sean I feel your pain! Looks just like my place in winter!
So pretty! Looks so much like my area..it's a little more winding, hilly here tho.
We have wind daily, but where I am is on the flat side of the river valley.
My neighbor came over today and helped remove the AC from my window. We officially had warmest October in recorded history. Finally feels like fall. It was a chilly 50f Wednesday morning. So thankful I don't have to mess with that white stuff. Moving it looks like work.
I still enjoy moving it myself, it is a peaceful process really.

Welcome! From what I have seen in pictures NY is gorgeous outside of the cities!
Yeh, tend to your chickens man and I hooks their warm enough, I also know how most people in Alaska keep there chickens warm!
Snow!! We haven’t had any here in Eastern Oregon. We have had freezing temps.❤
I am sure it is coming!

Good to see the MOTORHOME
IM GLAD YOU FEEL IN LOVE WITH THE PLACE
GOOD PEACEFUL LIVING
Hi Sean
Nice video
Please make a vid of removing ALL snow from truck 🛻 and RV
Thanks
I leave the snow on the RV, it does not travel. I remove the snow off the truck so it does not become a hazard to other drivers while I am on the road.
@@SeanInAlaska yeah ... i wanna see how you remove all the snow from truck ... you don't show the full recording while doing that..thnaks
Tack some plastic wrap under that to hold it from falling down

Just in case your wondering, it’s 82* with beautiful blue sky’s here in western North Carolina. 😂
Rub it in! Hahahhahahha
That's a lot of snow!!!
For this time of year, it sure is!!
Stay warm
Always!
Whoa Nelly Sean Its still officially Autumn according to the calendar. But not at Sean"s home.
Nope...we are in full blown winter here hahahhahha
I hate insulation Brother. Looks like old man winter done claimed your land again. Get that heater hooked up. See ye next week ol buddy.
Insulation is just plain messy! Yup, winter always wins JD! Lol....Best to you and Rhonda!
hahahahaha 50 and sunny here hahaha
Yours is coming too bud! Hhahahhahahah
Great video Sean. So glad the Ladies and Black Beauty's and Sam is doing well. That's alot of snow too. Did you see the pair of eagles on that tree where they usually are yet?
No eagle sighting yet! Usually they show up this month though so I will keep an eye out for them Karen!
@SeanInAlaska Thanks Sean greatly appreciate.
There is no more snow here on funny river. The winds took it away is this an old video
The winds and the warmer Temps did melt a great deal of this since last week
if you put lighting in with your chickens it should stop the Molting.
No power to do it though. The cold Temps would be hard on any battery i used for it as well.
Awesome video. Have you seen invitation of Snow Shovel Cordless Electric Snow Blower via email today?
Thank you, I did.
👍
Why would you not have strapped underneath so that the insulation could not have fallen at all
Because i am a complete rookie and did not plan ahead...lol...and that is my honest answer.
It's a hidden plan. If you'll do everything right in one swing - you'll not get an ideas for future videos. I think we might grumble a bit, but enjoy content from Sean.
Getting hit good! I am not looking forward to it! 🇨🇦✌🏼
I love the season, but getting too much of anything at once is just a hassle lol....
@ I agree! Have a great weekend!
So is your plan to make members only vids?
At this point, no. It is hard enough for me to get 1 video out a week lol....but since youtube allows me to let members watch early, I figured it was an easy way to show my appreciation.
♥
Squeezing the insulation like that destroys its effectiveness. Just as well not have it there.
🖐😎👍
✌️😀👍
Just a lil squall
Yup!
Afternoon Sean , try using bubble wrap , will hold the R- value and rodents etc don,t like it , Boss of the Swamp uses it and swears by it …
Tgat stuff is a great deal more expensive than chicken wire hahhahha!
The way you are stuffing that in there, it defeats the purpose of the insulation
are you proud oft he 15 inches.....
No, it's just snow lol
Depends from context.
Hello Sean. We're you able to see the recipe I sent you on Instagram?
I did! Thank you! 😀
@SeanInAlaska I hope you can find all the ingredients. I made some today for some friends. It took me 10 minutes to do it.
