Jerry, I'm surprised you didn't mention the dirty punch by the Boxer when MMA guy was on the ground.

Boxing is an insanely precise and efficient martial arts. Always nice to see it getting some love.
sure broski. lol Should take tae kwon do to round it out.
@@kalebpiper8107 Exactly what part of my comment do you disagree with, kiddo? That it is efficient or insanely precise? Do you just like to be a contrarian because there's nothing else in life that gives you any sort of fulfillment? Just put the phone down, bud.
Watching a skilled fighter at work is always a treat.
Listen i’ve done taekwondo gone to a dojo for it for years it really isn’t as effective as say boxing, kickboxing, muay thai etc.
@@Justin-bn7tr Muay thai is a really incredible martial art if you can pull it off well
I love that moment of impact the boxer did on the MMA fighter. He turned his hips in with his fist and connected with his whole body, knocking his opponent out. That was a beautiful sight to see.
I know it was only 10 seconds, but i dont think mma guy is very experienced by watching his distance control. Hes bouncing backwards out of habit, not reflexively
Yeah he had the length to keep him at Bay 😊
@@RichPTWhat?? 😂 So, you're saying he just chose to lose, for ... what? The fun of it?
@@harleyquinn3589 no he's saying the guy isn't skilled enough, shuffled backwards, no kicks or takedowns, nothing but a half arsed jab 😂
All it takes is one GOOD shot.
@@RichPTYou can get smashed with a good shot coming in for a takedown.
MMA guy clearly didn't have the same level raw sparring/fighting experience. Boxer basically just casually walked up to throw that crispy overhand.
Can't tell any of that from a 10 second clip.
@@jerometruitt2731 watch the half speed replay, it's 20 sec
No guys, the boxer beat the breaks off of the MMA guy, that's what I saw.
@RealFuckingReviews 🧢🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡
I think the MMA guy should have used teeps as a jab to throw off the boxer.
And that's why a boxer is more skilled. They know the sweet science.
Teeps wud've been a better idea. That lazy jab with the sloppy return by his waist almost got him kilt.
Nah aint gonna work mma guy needs to take the boxer on the ground or use his leg kicks to control the distance. Look at Connor Mcgregor hes one of the good strikers in mma but floyd knock him out on the boxing ring
@@Danny-tr1egffft, a well rounded mma fighter would DESTROY a boxer. Still a deer in headlights are ya, then check out the fight between Jones and Tyson Fury. Maybe then you’ll come out of your coma🤷🏿🤷🏿🤷🏿
@@jaws978teeps or any version of the bottom two weapons. Not too mention fainting a take down. Can’t let a boxer close the distance
Obviously experience and skill are also factors...
You think
"Unequivocally"!!
Boxing is the new underestimated combat sport these days. Boxer did a nice job setting up that shot. Noticed MMA guy using long guard. Telegraphed going to the body and started bringing MMA guy's guard just a little low. Stepped in low with the fake for the big body shot and brings it up right to the jaw. Very nice.
Yes it's comical to hear mma mains say the boxer automatically loses. Like the traditional martial artist used to say they always beat the boxer. Solely, because they have more diverse moveset and defense. Big factors no doubt, but not the only ones.
People always made fun of Balrog in Street Fighter because he couldn't kick, but the designers knew what was up. In 2 he was one of the strongest characters in the game
mma figthers know a bouch tecnics of many marcial arts, but learn just the most superficial tecnics, except bjj.
Thats why the mma fighter looses when face a experient fighter of a unic marcial art
It's not even remotely underestimated, wtf are you talking about.
That MMA guy stays in the hitting zone of boxing 100% of the time... He is asking for a good hooking in the face... And he get what he asked for!
Good job Boxing guy!
He tried to box a better boxer 😆
Overhead hook gets them every time
All about distance control in RANGE OUT OF RANGE
That last punch was personal.
It doesn't matter how many weapons a martial artist has. What really matters is how good you are at using what you know. The boxer only has his fists. The MMA fighter has fists, feet, knees, elbow, takedowns, submissions. But the boxer still won. It's how good you are that really matters.
The boxer has his fists but the mma guy was unfortunately lacking a brain
i agree but also disagree...it would depend on what type of match it is..in a boxing match, yes..clearly the boxer who mastered the trade would win..but it could ne a different story if it is an mma match which allows kicking, grappling, takedown and submission
@@avtogurgenashvili9003go check the video on their channel. Rules was MMA Rules with 8oz MMA Gloves.
@@avtogurgenashvili9003MMA is better for 1 v 1 boxing with it's footwork and sheer punching and moving capabilities while avoiding punches is better for a multiple attacker scenario for you to escape
@joepace9716 yep. No parries, kicks nor nothing.
Everybody underestimates boxers, until they get hit . 😂
Boxers are very technical. You only have your hands. The boxer feinted his punched to see how the MMA guy reacted. The MMA fighter dropped his hand after the jab. Mover feinted the jab and landed the right hook. Pow!
Mma fan boys underestimate boxers massively. Boxers have superior footwork mobility and an ability to create and exploit angles as well as being adept at slipping punches. Not saying MMA guys don't have this but boxers tend to be better in this regard. Even in Mma most knockouts are punches. The flashy kick knockouts get the air play but the stand up game is built around punching.
I don't think we do underestimate boxers. If an elite boxer fought an elite mma guy chances are it's gonna be one sided. But in stand up yes boxers are better of course and the jab is still the most important strike in mma
No, boxing just permits "superior" footwork and head movement, all that quickly changes in MMA where legs, elbows and knees are a thing too. Like to drop your head low? You're going to end up slamming into a knee. Like lateral movement with footwork up close? Leg kicks and just kicks in general will have you thinking twice. Like clinching? knees and elbows.
@@hotsingleplaguedoctorinarea To a degree but it's all about timing. No boxer would duck in low when the MMA guy is waiting, but if he's committed to throwing a punch then ducking under and body hooking and/or stepping to the side can work. Also he can't easily throw a kick up close, it's usually all punches and elbows in that proximity so stepping round to the side is viable, watching of course for spinning back elbows.
@@hotsingleplaguedoctorinarea
I would disagree with the lateral movement, in terms of getting kicked (take downs are a different convo)
Saenchai & lerdsilla are primary examples of lateral footwork in muay thai, which is far superior in striking compared to MMA
@@aaronbarlow4376what do you mean no boxer would duck low? Why would they do that when they don’t even train for that? This casual debate is just that- something casuals from both sports engage in. A boxer walks into an mma gym he’s getting submitted. An mma fighter walks into a boxing gym he’s getting pieced up. End of debate there
Boxer over an MMA fighter any day. More disciplined and technical.
That's right bro, just ask Art Jimmerson.
@edturner9670 damn had to go back 1000 years ago to find that one...dude was to scared to fight and had to dry hump him to win . Look up Mercer vs Silvia. That's a real win.
@Danny-tr1eg Look up Genki Sudo vs Butterbean. Now there's a real win 🏆
Maybe.

Boxing is superior most of the time in real life situation.
yeah people wear tight jeans so no kicking and more than one can attack so no grappling and taking it to the ground with multiple opponents which lead us to boxing
The fight was over before the video quality got to 1080p
Thats very creative!
It depends on the experience of both fighters but the more u go up in experience the boxer is probably gonna win because of the quickness and one hit power of the boxer. Punches will be coming so fast and hard u might be sleep before u could grab them
I got a black eye just watching this!
Please go over a street beefs video for the hell of it 😭😭😭
Timing beats speed.
The setup was really smooth. Nice video
MMA fighters, jack of all trades, masters in none.

That 2nd punch was unnecessary
Under the unified mma rules the only person responsible for stopping a fight is the referee. Bilal didn't do anything wrong.

The MMA guy obviously is not a seasoned fighter. The Boxer has no good sportsmanship. His opponent is already down, no reason to strike again.
Cry abt it
Unnecessary second punch man was already down and dazed
MMA guy blinded himself with his own left hand guard, that was too high. Boxer threw overhand right, that MMA guy didn't see...Boom.
I like how the ref signals the koed mma guy to chill out
Job well done 👏
Inside leg kick was there the whole time
Boxer was controlling the fight so not really and he was feinting the mma nga was scared asff😂

Was the 2nd punch necessary?
No. It seemed personal.
Clearly not.
Obviously not. The people who does that are p-o-s in my view.
Did we have to go “super necessary” on that?
Like bro, we are at a park fighting 😂. This is how dumb people settle the score.
Circle away from the power lol
The second hit was dirty and tainted the win in my mind
Ah.. the age old of debate of boxing or mma.. well it can go either way especially if it’s a street fight because both sports have rule sets that go out in the window in a real street fight. Biting etc negates a lot of mma grappling but in the end it comes down to the person and their individual skill level I was an amateur and we would have mma guys come into the gym to sharpen their punching skills with us and some of them are excellent at boxing but they come to us specifically for a reason when they need to learn stuff
Tyson Fury vs Jon Jones brought me here. 😊
And no monkey punches after the oppenent is down, just a simple short hook on the button and that's all folks.
MMA wasn’t experienced. Plus if I was sparring with a boxer, I am not gonna box with him. My legs would do more
I’m a boxer and boxer don’t look that experienced either cope with the pain lil bro😂
Cheap shot hitting the guy when he's in the ground and youse know it.
That's a coward.

How do u get he underestimated him by this video?? Im not familiar with this page. Do you know these guys personally?
It seems to be a rule in TH-cam to be an idiot, that's it.
Why hit the guy while he's on the ground basically defenseless????
Cleary kicks were banned. In reality a lowkick is a deadly effective weapon against boxers (especially the newer calf kick meta) , just watch any mma fight and see how many low kicks are utilized and how devastating they are.
The MMA guy does not look good to be fair.
Having hands is as simple as having tesla's mind. Your born that way
Boxer guy didn't seem to like mma guy very much
bro decided to box a boxer and is surprised that he lost
Mma has the advantage in a closed room. Boxer has the advantage in open area
Not really 😂😂
@@tbupnexttruths1355 says the guy that's never been ko by a real puncher. Go cuddle and play but rub with some dude lmao
If the one with blue gloves was a real mma guy , he would have smashed this boxer.
If you fight a boxer don't box with him
Exactly!
You can change the title to: Boxing match between two boxers.
Look, a punch is a punch and boxing isn't useless if it's designed to knock someone out, but don't bait with mma vs boxing, when both are playing with boxing rules or at least the second guy didn't get the memo that kicks have more range than punches and you can target something else than the face... Bah, unless you wanna be at punching range I guess.
He saw the target and let one rip. Great job boxer guy😂
Just to be fair
Let's put Experian boxer and experience, MMA fighter
In street fight with no rule, and let's see who will come out alive 😎
Not becuz of boxer or mma its about experience
Boxers are highly specialized in well... boxing. If you want to beat a boxer maybe try something else. Most boxers can't deal with low kicks, clinching, takedowns and ground fighting or anything that happens under the waistline - in fighting terms ofc.
Cap
Your coping because you know it’s kinda true
No teeps no leg kicks wtf
Boxer was controlling the fight it’s a chess match😂
Cheap shot at the end wasn't cool.
That's putting it softly.
Who are you? 😂😂😂
Mma fan boy here ,that dude was so unexperienced first he should be throwing kicks to the legs, then go for the take if necessary at that point
He tried getting into kicking range but boxer moved and closed the distance you can clearly see that at the start lol...i guess when that happened he tried feinting for space but boxer countered
Boxer wins every time
Dude picked and placed that shot. You could tell he knew dude was going to go down once he smacked em.
And then hit him when he was down and clearly dazed. Poor sport.
Why didn’t the the mma guy use kicks? This looked more like ‘boxer vs non-boxer’
WOW!
Is going to the ground allowed in this DefendFC?
Yep
The mma guy blocks his own view with his gloves so he couldn't see the punch coming from the boxer anyway?
And the Boxer put his left hand out there like a reach finder and made the mma guy move to his right and walked straight into the
right 👊 and nice set up from the Boxer well done young man.
Cheap shot at the end on a defenseless opponent. Boxer-guy will get that paid pack during his eventual ass-kick’in by a better boxer-guy. Cruel world yes, but that lesson must be taught and learned. Hopefully he learns sooner than later.
It's an MMA fight. That wasn't a cheap shot! Don't you understand the difference? It would have been a cheap shot if it was understood to be a boxing match.
@@scholarlyanalyst7700 It's a cheap shot whether it's an MMA match or a boxing match. One needs to be rotten on the inside not to see that.
This guy is definitely not MMA, that boxer stance is so wide and he didn't once kick the soul out of his way too forward lead leg or duck and shoot on the big windup. He's probably training aikido....
@AntiXtoxiCyou cry man😂
Well if this was an actual fight, then chances r boxer would loose.
Boxers can go into mma and have success but mma guys that go into boxing 🥊 get wrecked! Boxing is by far the tougher and better sport! I do enjoy mma from time to time

@@JayC216😂😂one leg and it's over
I think mma guy thought the boxer was coming with a left jab and the boxer caught him looking at it.
Nice punch! Quick, one hit KO, and didn't get hurt.
Excellent.
So I think the difference was in the game plan.
The MMA fighters' defensive movement was correct it was just not used correctly.
The bouncing footwork style needs a lot of EXP before using it in a fight with real consequences.
The idea is to be difficult to catch while setting up your own attacks, with perfection being that you can dodge everything, while successfully attacking whenever they eventually open up.
However, this fight perfectly demonstrates its' flaws.
If you can time the movement, there is a blueprint for where your opponent is actually going to be.
Meaning that, if you don't have enough exp with the style, you're essentially dancing around for fking nothing.
As for the boxer, yeah wonderful.
Simple approach, walk right in, read the reaction, step back, when the opponent retreats move forward, gauge distance, ascertain which punches would work best to start, find the timing, then attack.
Except, he got a KO.
There is a size difference in favor of the boxer. He is stronger, and you can tell. Just rewatch the MMA fighters' punch and you can see that it was not a hard throw, possibly implying that it was a set up but either way that's an indication that he doesn't have a threatening punch.
Taller and longer can be good but not if you can't overpower in some way.
Nice one though, I hope they both keep goin.
Yes … right analysis .. the MMA , should have started straight with other weapons not to with boxing defence .. .to stop confidence of the boxer .. just one punch was enough to stop MMA fight ( very poor defence )
I love how the entire comments section is mma fans criticizing the mma fighter to put all the blame on him and not mma itself. They're pretty much saying if it was another fighter the boxer would have no chance lol
I’m not reading it that way and don’t like either activity. Comparing two arts by one bout between two people of different experience is foolish. It wasn’t boxing vs MMA it was Fred vs Bill.
@@daviddempsey8721 Sure, I agree, ultimately it comes down to the individuals, however it's human nature for people to make excuses for the person representing their chosen discipline. There is a tendency for scrawny nerds or people without athleticism and/or experience with violence to think that learning some techniques/martial arts will allow them to defeat any brawler or tough guy, and that MMA is the ultimate free pass to defeating anyone in a fight.
How can you watch this and think mma is to blame. He didn't use any mma skills and was pretty brain dead in his approach. He stood in a boxers range with out any defence. You can lead a horse to water but can't make him drink it
@@aaronbarlow4376 FML this is so absurd.
He saw him walking toward him . His feet pointed forward why not snap kick too keep distance? It's kinda basic white belt territory.

the mma guy has so many weapons that could end the fight...but a punch is still the most efficient which the boxer specializes in.
of course the mma guy was inexperienced and not as skilled, but props to the boxer regardless who seems to be of similar experience level

That's messed up he was already down he didn't have hit him again
This was dumb. That MMA guy had a ton of opportunities to kick the boxer in the head
