Enough with the rehydration clause excuse. Watching this back you can CLEARLY see that this fight had to with skill & not weight. The way Ryan fought on Saturday was the same he fought this fight. The only TRUE difference in the two..was the opponent. Tank did what shockingly Devin couldn't do & that was take away Ryan's one claim-to-fame-shot; his left hook. Had Devin took that away, complete different fight it would have been Saturday. But to go back to the clause excuse, let me break it down for you Ryan fans.... Ryan called Tank out. Multiple times for about 3 years. Tank was the top guy between the two. If you're a challenger, you go to the champion's territory to dethrone him. This is nothing new and something that has been done time & time again in boxing. Remember Floyd vs. Oscar? Oscar was the top guy at the time. After repeatedly being called out by Floyd, he finally accepted and made him go to HIS WEIGHT of 154 to fight. What did Floyd do?....said "fine", took the deal, fought, and won. So being that Tank is 135 (and a natural smaller fighter of the two), and Ryan was the one doing all the barking, he had to fight at Tank's weight, not the other way around. But the main gripe I have with you guys using this excuse is yall always are excluding the fact that TANK WAS UNDER THE SAME DAMN CLAUSE AS WELL!! I would understand (half-way) if it were only Ryan under the 10 pound rehydrate restriction, but SO WAS TANK!! Looks and sounds like an even playing field to me. (shrug). Clearly Ryan is much bigger than the 135 division, hell even the 140 (as Saturday night showed), so having a clause on him was actually smart for Tank to do to make the fight FAIR. Not necessarily have an advantage. Again, it'd only be an advantage if Tank didn't have a clause on him. So with all that being said, Ryan lost this fight due to a skill difference, not a weight difference. His best (and only) weapon was taken away by a smarter fighter. I feel even if they hadn't have done a clause, Tank was getting the win regardless. I give Ryan full credit for his win against Haney, taking nothing from him. But I will say this..... he didn't do anything different in that fight than he did with this one. Again. The only difference was the opponent.

The way Ryan fought on Saturday was the same he fought this fight. The only TRUE difference in the two..was the opponent.
Tank did what shockingly Devin couldn't do & that was take away Ryan's one claim-to-fame-shot; his left hook.
Had Devin took that away, complete different fight it would have been Saturday. But to go back to the clause excuse, let me break it down for you Ryan fans....
Ryan called Tank out. Multiple times for about 3 years. Tank was the top guy between the two. If you're a challenger, you go to the champion's territory to dethrone him. This is nothing new and something that has been done time & time again in boxing. Remember Floyd vs. Oscar? Oscar was the top guy at the time. After repeatedly being called out by Floyd, he finally accepted and made him go to HIS WEIGHT of 154 to fight. What did Floyd do?....said "fine", took the deal, fought, and won. So being that Tank is 135 (and a natural smaller fighter of the two), and Ryan was the one doing all the barking, he had to fight at Tank's weight, not the other way around. But the main gripe I have with you guys using this excuse is yall always are excluding the fact that TANK WAS UNDER THE SAME DAMN CLAUSE AS WELL!! I would understand (half-way) if it were only Ryan under the 10 pound rehydrate restriction, but SO WAS TANK!! Looks and sounds like an even playing field to me. (shrug). Clearly Ryan is much bigger than the 135 division, hell even the 140 (as Saturday night showed), so having a clause on him was actually smart for Tank to do to make the fight FAIR. Not necessarily have an advantage. Again, it'd only be an advantage if Tank didn't have a clause on him. So with all that being said, Ryan lost this fight due to a skill difference, not a weight difference. His best (and only) weapon was taken away by a smarter fighter. I feel even if they hadn't have done a clause, Tank was getting the win regardless. I give Ryan full credit for his win against Haney, taking nothing from him. But I will say this..... he didn't do anything different in that fight than he did with this one. Again. The only difference was the opponent.
