It is, and what’s even sad is how the timeline Cell come from in which he kills Trunks to steal his time travel machine is the true original timeline, but little did Cell know is that time traveling can also create different other timelines hence why Trunks timeline and the main dbz continuity timeline exists. In one of the episodes, Trunks was shocked to find out there was another time capsule traveling machine and it appeared to be very old and decaying

I don't think so. Instead of time travel, they would just go to namek, to borrow their dragon balls and train maybe. In the meantime cell could absorb androids, and go after them.

Yeah no. Without Raditz, this wouldn't happen:
-Vegeta and Nappa wouldn't come to earth, since they eavedropped the existence of the dragonballs.
-Goku wouldn't have died, which means no spirit bomb or Kaioken, let alone the training from king kai.
-No snap of Gohan's true potential.
-Piccolo, Tien, Chaitzu and Yamcha would live, which also means:
-No namek saga. We don't need the namekian dragonballs afterall.
-Earth would be absolutely damned because of Majin Buu. ( Dependant on if they could get enough energy without Gohan or Vegeta. )
-Also, the end of universe 7 from either Zeno doing his erasure of the weak universes or Majin Buu.

Nah, maybe he just got imspired, I mean, they were actually nicer, I mean, Recoome and the whole Ginyu forces were the most kind of the Frieza army, had dialogue together and just looked like antiheroes forced to fight them and not bloodthirsty monsters, I mean, they were searching VEGETA and Vegeta Attacked them to begin with, if it wasnt for him, Freezer wouldnt have noticed them

@@CarlosSilva-bh4biGinyu took Goku's body. If you bothered to look up the Ginyu Force, you would see that they are described as superficially goofy, but still get labeled as Dangerous Villains. They were working for Frieza in order to destroy planets. They were evil characters. So Gohan having PTSD doesn't seem so far fetched. The only villain Gohan was able to connect with was that one Android who cared about helping animals.

Well he’s had long periods of peace between Cell and Buu, between Buu and either Baby or Frieza depending on which continuity you follow.
Shoulda passed that along time ago. Now they stuck trying to make content between other content to maximize the use of goku… they shoulda went with keeping it the pace on Gohan during the buu saga. They caved and made goku and vegeta the front runners. Cocky ultimate gohan was so sweet and short lived. Next arc coulda been him being humbled by Beerus and then overcoming the tournament with his father.. instead they turned him into a nerd and capped him.

I understand there complaints, u are universe where ppl can destroy your planet just like that and Goku and Vegeta aren't always there to save the day ,and Goku literally has one of the greatest potential anytime he tries to train , even without training for a long time he suddenly becomes the strongest , fandom wants him to train bc realistically they could be threat out there to strong for Goku or Vegeta, obviously this will never happened unless the writers said so , but from realistic stand point, u can't achieve your dreams if there isn't a planet, life is cruel and sometimes u don't get a choice
Duh, not training when you lived your entire childhood seeing in action, "and then a stronger one appeared," is dumb. He doesn't have to seek out villains to punch, but he should still keep himself combat ready by training and getting stronger.
Gohan should have trained himself, not to be a man of war, but to practice deterrence and still have enough strength to win the day if all else fails. That being said, I also can't blame the guy considering he was not only forced into training because of Raditz and Piccolo afterwards, but also because he saw a metric asston of violence and death in his extraordinary young age. Kid never had a childhood, and only really got a chance to experience it during the Buu Timeskip, in addition to spaces between then and End of Z
And people wonder why Gohan would rather be a scholar than a fighter? Wouldn’t you if your life was nothing but violence and trauma since you were 4?

He's a waste of character because of occasionally training in the event of another threat. He instead pretends like all their problems went away once his dad died. How could you see all that he saw and not worry about the next threat? Especially with very few strong people alive at the time. Logically a smart Gohan would have kept that in mind, and tried to train when he was older and able to dodge his mother easier.

@@tiacool7978Seriously. I can appreciate Gohan having a Clark Kent mindset. That he just wants a quiet life with his family, but his willful ignorance of the threats that could come is grating. Gohan knows he has massive potential, but doesn't even attempt to maintain his power. Gohan could commit a couple hours a week to maintaining his power, but he doesn't even do that. He just expects Goku and Vegeta to pick up his slack. To me, that just stinks of selfishness.
Also, please don't bring up his vague demanding job or his dream to be a scholar. I've known plenty of academics and workaholics that kept themselves in shape.
this only makes Trunks and both Gohan's relationship all the more symbolic. although he wasn't able to save his master, by going back to the past, giving Goku his cure and fighting alongside the Z Fighter, he achieved something in his timeline he never could: Save Gohan's life.
Because of his actions, our timeline's Gohan grew to have a peaceful youth for quite sometime before Majin Buu, got to make his mother proud by getting a degree and see his brother grow, marry and start a family, and in-spite all the dangers he has gone through after he has had quite the happy life with his family.
In a way, Trunks did indeed save Gohan's life.
Damn, "future Gohan is original Gohan" is a truth I wasn't really tracking because I'm not too familiar with that part of that arc, but that's horrible. No wonder the version of him that survived hates fighting

As a kid, I envied Goku, I feared Vegeta and I related to Gohan the most. The kid was just thrown into every bad situation just a bit too early for him to ever be prepared for it. But he never backed down even though he was terrified the whole time. That's why the conclusion of the Cell saga felt so damn satisfying. It felt like I won something along with Gohan when he finally blew Cell away.

Don't forget that Goku made Gohan fight Cell in the Cell Games. He slacked off for awhile then Majin Buu and in Super there were the tournaments that Goku made him participate in
Goku is a full blooded saiyan. Of course he is going to make his son fight, that's what saiyans do. they fight until they die. Then when possible they fight after death because they are warriors, and warriors don't truly die, they just take a nap to recoup the will to continue fighting.
You can't blame goku for his genetic instability. that would be like blaming a legit monkey for teaching its children how to survive instead of just keeping it alive forever.
Goku came back for the tournament after the cell games, then majinn buu arrived, but the kicker is that Majiin buu was already gaining the power to revive while goku was dead. Trouble follows all saiyans. If Gohan wasn't raised to fight then it would be over for them all because Gohan has more potential than anybody else in DB. Hence Ultimate form, Beast Gohan and Goku made Gohan fight cell because only Gohan had the innate ability to wipe cell out with super saiyan 2, and at that point that was the only way to beat cell and only Gohan could achieve it at that point in time. He was stronger than anyone else there even in base, he was just scared.
Poor (Future) Gohan.
The only happy thing Gohan had was being reunited again with his father in the afterlife
And yet Gohan became one of the strongest sayians in history
Not to mention the fact that he was forced to train to keep the people around him alive basically against his will
Yeah. But I’m pretty sure that they still would have died to the Cyborgs. Sure the twins wouldn’t have been as strong. But the Z-Fighters wouldn’t have been either and they wouldn’t have had Piccolo or Vegeta to back them up so they likely would have lost quicker.
At least the Gohan we know gets his happy ending, as not only he gets to pursue his dreams, but he also gets an amazing, understanding wife and a beautiful daughter.
Krillin's death may have been the catalyst for Goku's first transformstion, but it must've been hard on Gohan too to be so young and see someone who's basically his uncle and the only person who was there protect him for a lot of his time on the planet get brutally killed
Imagine Your Uncle pulls up, Traumatizes you. Then his Friends Pull up and kill the strongest people you know.

That’s why I go back and forth with how Gohan ended up. After Cell he was the strongest but that was never HIS goal. He wanted peace and to be a scholar. Gohan became the person he wanted to be even if it’s not who the fans wanted him to be.

You forgot the fact that he would later have his soul deleted by grand Zeno due to future goku's negligence in the goku Black arc.
Tbf if he hadn't shown up then he still would've had to watch either Goku or Piccolo die and the androids would have been an even worse threat.
After knowing all that, its great to know that Gohan in current timeline is living a great life as a genius professor, having all his family and friends along his side.
The alternate timeline where Goku doesnt die and Cell gets rezzed isnt any less horrible and violent. He has to fight in the Cell Games, where he watches multiple people die including Goku again, which is peaceful for a time until Buu is rezzed and the process starts all over again. Raditz did more to damage Gohan's life than China does the atmosphere.
