For people who don't know they didn't exploded when Gohan fought them, it was for censorship. In the manga they were just brutally cut in half with their lower body remaining
They shouldn't be able to regenerate, this is the same issue I had when Cell did it, when Goku blasted half his body off. They have Piccolo's regeneration cells, but he can only grow back his limbs, not his head.
So I guess this is were they went.

So, it would be logical for these creatures to have the one reproductive organ to lay egg/give birth: the womb. It's not like woman's womb, but more like autonomous reproductive system.

Well Gotenks only had SSJ3 cause combined the boys had a strong enough base power to unlock it. Total bs writing and SUPPOSEDLY S cells, they have a lot more of them. Curious about Gotenks TRUE potential vs Gohans. I like how Gokus kids are more powerful than Vegetas, we can't count Bra yet though. She a baby. 😂 😂 least they didn't use tingly back feeling to unlock SSJ. I'm sure by teenage years they can use it, or maybe there is gonna be more bs writing for the boys. Krillin goes crazy attacking cell, though it doesn't do much, because he lost 18. 18 probably saw that courage despite the massive power gap, and is probably why she says sometimes in the anime "I didn't marry a coward." Still really scary to think about the conscious thing, but it makes more sense why she fell for him(aside from Krillins obvious insane sex appeal 😈)

If the Cell Jrs were capable of growing up they'd have done so between the Cell Games and the Tournament of power. They're actually the same age as Goten, but were "born" more physically mature and with a baseline power to match Perfect Cell.
I rather more imagine them combining together to form a new, blue Cell with some other minor physical differences (shorter head crest and wings, no tail, *slightly* more streamlined shape), but otherwise identical to perfect cell. That would be my ideal return of Cell as a good guy.
I mean, that idea is still pretty silly aswell. But it's Dragon Ball and if they want it, they'll to it. Silly or not.
I like to imagine that eventually theyll grow up to look almost exactly like Perfect Cell, and there'll just be a group of Perfect Cells protecting the island
The poachers will possibly think the juniors are an exotic animal and try to capture them

The Cell Juniors honestly make sense. Every time I rewatched the Gohan kill them in the original Cell Games I always wondered how he did it when they were supposed to have the same powers as cell.
One could honestly treat it as they are `spawn` of Cell, they likely would not have the same capabilities as the original. Since the writer could just pull whatever excuse a reader stated on how they are present and just run with it...
Such as the whole Saibaman element likely part of them, mutating and allowing them to propagate like a plant & with the namekian part of them they could have partial regeneration and that could of mutated so they could properly regenerate but likely at a very delayed process.
Read the manga for that part and it makes sense. Short answer is just censorship.

But Hedo changed his mind at the end, and might start working with Bulma. Unless he's stupid and continues on the evolution of Cell Max and loses control of him again, I don't think he'll make another one.

They are the same common ground as Broly whenever it comes to controlling their power, so they still need training before they can officially join.

Well he probably trained before he went to the island got there was stronger than fought them continuously until he got stronger then tamed them.
Training. Humans may not have many super power fighters but when they do...
Think about it. All of the dragon warriors surpassed raditz in one year for training like Goku.
In the manga 17 was as strong as goku in ssj3 form so hes defo strong enough to tame the cell juniors that were at cells lvl at the time

Imagine that in the new arc somehow a tiny piece of cell max was left undestroyed and cell max slowly starts to regenerate until the point where its imperfect cell again and finally reaches it's perfect form which causes more problem for gohan, piccolo, goten and trunks. It would be cool aswell that goten and trunks bothe become good friends with the cell junior group and are tryna rescue them bc perfect cell max has absorbed them .

I always thought it would be a cool story that a Cell Jr survived Gohans massacre and actually did age. You think about it, Cell might have the most potential in the Dragonball Universe (Frieza golden form, Saiyan God Ki, Namekian regen). He would eventually venture off into the universe to find out who he truly is.
It would be so cool if at least one of these cell jrs grew up and basically just became a good guy cell
The Cell Jrs didn’t die, remember Cell had to be obliterated completely with a kamehameha to be killed while the Cell Jrs exploded by Gohan’s attack and just like Cell if he an survivor an explosion than they can also survive an explosion as well
They didn’t explode, that was censorship in the manga they just got their guts and brain punched the fuck out
It makes me extra sad thinking about how the anime can't get this arc. Cuz unlike the manga, which left the Cell Jrs body parts lying around (which is implied to be how they regenerated), they're completely destroyed.
In the anime it was censored but if you watch the uncensored version of dragon ball z the cell jr's are like the manga version

I read up on this story a few years ago and I thought it was really interesting. It has been nice to see Goten and Trunks be given more of a focus recently, very underrated characters especially Goten.

What the final text actually says, is that these cells could regenerate as long as their weren't 100% destroyed just like Cell. Gohan that day really just ripped them in two, didn't obliterated them.
But they seemed exploded too so thats a weird retcom, but fun nonethless.
Good thing these little guys didn't decide to cause havoc once they regenerated.
Imagine them springing on everyone right after Gohan collapses from his Kamehameha clash with Cell...

Higher, they are fighting multiple cell juniors at once, they one shot everyone in the cell saga except teen gohan in ssj2 and I can argue goten and trunks are holding back because they thought the cell jr were animals too

I would have loved a story about a cell Jr that had survived the Gohan vs cell moment and grew up to become a teal perfect cell

I think that was the unique foreshadowing that Toriyama did for the superhero movie with Cell Max and the Red Ribbon Army.

Considering that the Cell Juniors survived all the way to the present day, it's implied that the Juniors themselves are not very evil since they might have been wiped out when Earth is destroyed during Buu Arc and restored along with anyone who is not purely evil

Goten and Trunks were taking on 7 Perfect Cells, being ambushed, and were keeping up. If Goten fought MSSJ Goku from the Cell saga, Goten would likely win

It’s kind of crazy that 7 super saiyan level beings were running around the earth in a group and not Goku, Piccolo, Vegeta or anyone else sensed them or even know they exist.
To be frank we never saw a single headshot on a cell junior so its very likely they regenerated.

They were only turned to dust in the anime. In the manga, Gohan was chopping them up and had all their guts flying around, so that had to be censored in the anime
