Hey thanks ~ I appreciate your time showing us this. It was the channel (11) on the UI as the starting channel that was unclear! Thankyou very much!

i appreciate the speed of your voice. It is reassuring for an old guy like me who is new to all this. We have used the Soundcraft UI2 for solo performance keyboard and singing and appreciate the presets. I don't fiddle with it much. Now interested in using a DAW and that is a stretch but looking to learn. Mostly for live performance pitch correction and vocal effects. For DAW, probably Studio One from all the TH-cam vids so far seen. So, figuring to use the UI mixer as the audio interface (hopefully) and to amplify another commentator's question... to use waves plugins, do physically connect to the USB interface on the mixer with the computer?? with male USB on both ends of the cable?

To use waves plugins, do u have to connect to the USB interface on the ui24r ?
Please walk us through the various possible hardware and software setups.

So you don't have to worry about song setup with all the inputs and outputs on S1? Maybe it's different because I'm using a mac. Thank you for your help!!!

I want to play back mutlitrack, 13 tracks, from Studio one but I haven't figured out how I should patch. Is it eventuellt possible.

Yes it's possible, You just need to select USB DAW input on each channel of the mixer you want to come from Studio ONE and in Studio one assign separate outputs on each of those tracks.
