    Thanks to this tutorial I changed the timing belt on my 2015 Focus 1.5 TDCI. It had 155000km, and was allready compleatly loose, so everyone should consider earlier change.

    Some constructive criticism for you guys. I think your videos should have a line of text on the bottom, saying which part you are removing or installing, at the moment. Or what youre doing in general. It would be easier to understand for us viewers, whats going on.

      In general, the replacement will be similar, the only thing that may be slightly different is the design features of your car. More precise information can be found in the technical documentation of the car or by contacting a service center

    I was wondering what the torque setting is for the tensioner assembly and was the reason that you applied only 19nm to the other pulley because you used locktite, as I thought the torque for it was 37nm? Thanks

    Why have the music so loud !?. I would rather have speech describing what you are doing.

  • @thomasprescott5333
    @thomasprescott5333 หลายเดือนก่อน

    It says Ford Fiesta 6, surely that should be 7? For me get rid of the music in future videos. Again, for me, much better to have a narrator explain what the mechanic is doing. Score 7/10.

    I see no reason why you need to remove the earth. Just means u now last ya radio code

    • @thomasprescott5333
      @thomasprescott5333 ปีที่แล้ว

      Your point about the radio code is valid. The cable removed from the alternator is connected directly to the battery, if earth not removed expect lots of sparks! The way round that is to disconnect the alternator cable at the battery end first.

      OMG.. Some people can't open the hood or can't change the headlight bulb without help. For this job you need DIY skill experience maybe 5/10. It is just wrenching and few hours of a time, nothing complicated.
