The band kicking in after J's intro on Thumb sounded like it killed nearby small critters with how deafening loud it sounded and I love every bit of it!

On "I Met the Stones" and "To Be Waiting" J is playing what appears to be one of his old signature Jazzmasters, the purple one before the white Squier. However, it's modded. Purple knobs and neck pickup cover, and a bridge pickup that clearly isn't a Jazzmaster pickup. Anyone know what it is?
J as a player has gotten much more tasteful with age. In the 80s he would record pretty melodic solos that still had a rough, messy edge (the lung) but he would often disregard any concept of melody live and opt for tuneless atonality similar to Thurston Moore or Greg Ginn

@@JustinStarbuck Thanks for the upload!
@@brandonbailey8649 good work
Well done Bubs..thank you.
thanks man
Man amazing set list...hope to see them in September in Houston
Man, Activate Windows are such a great band
I love how Lou plays the bass! Damn!
Lou has this/his unique style for bassplaying.....it rocks over the top
Dude the 90s Dino songs sound so much better with Murph and Lou on them
So grateful to see this - played it all the way through twice already. They seem to have gotten better with age - need to see them on this tour.
“I met the stones” it turns amazing live 👏🏼👏🏼💜✨
I love that they played Pieces, Farm it’s an amazing album
Indeed it is.
Pieces
Farm is probably my favorite overall. Got a soft spot for Where You Been but Farm rips nonstop
Farm is truly a banger, especially “I want you to know”!!!
Pieces needs to be a mainstay in the set
Holy shit these guys still kick fucking ass. Hope I can see them on this tour.
Garden. J on bass, Lou on guitar and vocals. Nice!
The solo for Thumb here is outstanding!!
The band kicking in after J's intro on Thumb sounded like it killed nearby small critters with how deafening loud it sounded and I love every bit of it!
Good morning Thunkyou Very much Like a DINOSAUR Jr
Lou's bass on this set dear lord
@Pedro s.
Every set Bubs...he's a Magical Warlock
unreal
So fucking good.
Yup you can actually hear him
@@kennhiser it’s an uphill battle trying to be heard over J Mascis 🤣
Dinosaurs still rock the earth, don't ever grow up, fantastic upload, Thank you
best live concert I've seen since Norwegian Wood 2008!!! other than the ones I was at of course where there is no video.
they needa stop fuckin around and play "I Expect it Always" and release it as a single. Thats in the top 5 Dino Jr reincarnated songs for me
Great song, but I gotta say it would be Crumble for me!
They played it! Its on a more recent upload of a full show, 2nd track
Woa let me step in as now I officially got my Brooklyn Steel tickets
Gotta one up crumble
Out there
Watch the corners
Gargoyle
In that order then set break lmao
HOLY SHIT! Opening with Bulbs Of Passion? YES!
Thank you J, Lou and Murph for always shredding!!!
the punch in lous bass is insane. has been since in a jar
Lou needs a crowd
Can’t wait to fanboy in the fall
I'm going to see them live tonight
super psyched!!!!!!
fuckin love that they played bulbs of passion!!! hope they will when i see ‘em
me quedé con ganas de ver como sonaba Walking To You en vivo, pero alto setlist
Very raw sounding. Tarpit!
fuck yeah thank you!! i have the official mp3s and it kills the vibe how it just goes from song to song like an album without the jams/tuning/etc
Dinosaur Jr. is awesome and so is Dinosaur barbeque sauce they should team up and do a commercial!!!
Great set.They sound amazing.
THE FUKKN BEST DINOSAUR JR this is why
Awesome! Even better with age. See you at Pappy & Harriets in Febuary!
"mumble, mumble, mumble,,, mumble" then gorgeous music, wouldn't have it any other way
Cool the hear the bass this loud but can't hear the solos very well.
It must be so strange to do a show without an audience being there.
That's basically what band practice is.
@@pechondelgado and soundchecking, to an extent, one could argue
Anyone got "Live and Alone"? I can't believe they'd not offer that anywhere, it sounded so good too.
Do you have to activate WIndows to be able to hear the bass?
I love these 3 people

looks like either a mini humbucker or a gold foil?
Is that a dead person on the right?
How hard does Murph hit those drums.
Best band ever
Omg! Thanks for this 🙏🙏🙏
the lung? :(
Was this the actual mix?
No it's a screen capture

Raisans! Man they sound so good after all these years and this covid thing.
Lou and Murph are the backbone of the band really
AYYY PIECES LIVE AGAIN
Lo mejor de D. JUNIORS
Where was this first aired?
Gotta see em' this tour.
Gotta recut this with the new audio!
Always steal windows OS.
amen
J Mascis and his fjord of half stacks
Is this rehearsal?
What is that guitar that J is using on I Ain’t?
I'm not sure but it looks like a Vox Phantom, but with a Fender tele neck, and Jazzmaster floating tremolo. It might be a Franken-guitar.
@@POPNDOUGH "i'm not sure" then an incredibly detailed description ;) very nice
what's up with the audio? it's horrific! it sounds like when a kitchen worker uses a red solo cup as a speaker for their cell phone.
This is my first screen capture and i used the first free app i could find. Did you watch in HQ? Makes it a little better

@@tame7358 indeed.
When are these mfs gonna play See You during a live set? Farm is my favourite post-90's Dino Jr. album and it's such a underrated song.
