@@Lintpop Nope. He's a set it and forget kind of guy. His signal splits between an Ampeg bass amp for the lows and a Marshall guitar amp with the gain turned up. He uses pretty much the same tone for all their songs, dynamics being achieved by how hard he hits the strings.
Lou Barlow as a great voice , but since in dinosaur J.MAscis as creative control he as to formed the band Sebadoh ,that is a great indie Lo-fi rock band !
