Yes! Seen Dinosaur Jr so many times and J solo but never on this album/tour. Thank you J, Lou and Murph. We love you!❤🎉
They just keep on getting better and better. Unreal.
Like fine wine
Great rendition of Not The Same at 24:29.
Best I've heard. That tone is so hauntingly beautiful. It reminds me of Jimmy Page.
@@martypeterson6747 Yep, I love that track.
Sick. I remember jamming to these guys in 7th grade . They sound asesome
Ripping faces off with 3 stacks.
And tuning his guitar like crazy person!
They sound so good.
Love that half stack as a monitor....dang. Band sounds great...here I come PDX!!
Sick indeed
Thank you so much for sharing this pal - this show is a celebration! Been a fan 30 years
You’re welcome. Me too. Enjoy this spectacular performance
Thanks for sharing ☮️
1:04:53 that little strummy rhythm he adds rips so fucking hard
12:40 J. adjusts hat without missing a beat.
uno dei dischi che ho amato di più in quegli anni, che nostalgia
Dia 10 estarei lá no tokio marine hall ver essas caras avivo
Good for Lou!
1:13:22 Watch The Corners
Yeah , Start Choppin'
according to german music mag "musikexpress" J ist the second best guitarist of all time. best one is Hendrix. they got a point.
IDK man, seems like a bit of a stretch, don't get me wrong he's amazing but second to Hendrix?? Sounds like the article was written by a die hard fan
okay, compared to Hendrix, everything is a bit of a stretch. and sure there are quite a few others in that category. neil young, frank zappa, keith richards etc etc. but i liked the fact that this mainstream magazine put him there@@shamiir1812
Stevie Ray Vaughan wants to have a word with everybody or Mark Knopfler
@@BlueHopi144 Oh Please! Even Stevie has said Jimi was the best most inspirational guitarist ever! lol
Hendrix was the king of self learned guitar in blues ..... and blues rock . Period ! nobody ever came close to his natural way of playing so well . @@brettm7345
Foda!!👏
Fantastic group even if you can't hear the bass.
I hear the bass, maybe you should see a doctor? ;)
I know what you mean, I guess.
I’m pretty sure people who were at the show heard the bass with their chest, with their whole body… which is hardly reproductible with a lossy compressed audio file playing on a home system. ^^
PS: Well, OK, a little bit volume on the bass would not had hurt, I admit… :/
I wonder if the girl he wrote Where You Been to has heard that mesmerizing piece of humanity and I wonder if the reaction is as intense as it is for the rest of us, or more intense? I can't even imagine having such powerful art created because of me.
So weird to see Lou play a Stingray.
In 1992 I was just beginning my teenage/adult years when i got turned on to this band. I lived in Frankfort Germany. Rhein main AB.
Didn’t know much about triggering emotions & memories till i stumbled across these videos in 2023. So many memories wish we could all go back to that time when nobody gave a fuck about the color of your skin or your political party affiliation!! We just wanted to rock united!!
What the fuck is wrong with today!!!
Love you dinosaur Jr!!! That is all
I never heard them till recently 🎉
Better than most new stuff for sure and its 30 years old !
@@leeleweke434Around 40 years actually.. If you count the first album and the great second and third albums..
👍😃
Glad he sang …get me …like on the album.
20:30 on the way
I dare Dinosaur Jr to let Grizzlor open for them.
Convince me I'm wrong: That guy from Modest Mouse is just making the songs sound terrible. WTF??? Glad we got Kurt Vile & Renaldo the night I was there.
I thought the same thing! I love modest mouse but it was god awful
Omg! Had to turn it off! I was there Renaldo & Vile night too! Cortez was awesome!!!
IS that Lou Barlow?
Indeed
...on an Ernie Ball bass!!
It is actually Joseph Carcione, but he has the same Lou Barlow hair going.
Remember when Modest Mouse had a great guitarist whose name rhymed with Johnny Marr?
Its hard to hear Lou on the bass.
Might as well be at home
Funny, this is a much sharper performance than in London, but the London audience seemed much more appreciative
As a New Yorker, I have to disagree. New York fans don't dance and stage dive like on the West Coast, but NYC is full of artists, and many of them get caught up trying to figure out how the songs are being played. The ones who aren't musicians, but other types of artists, are enjoying the show more than drunken rowdy crowd members.
FN strobe cameras
The audio tune could solve sudden tones with a variation on vocals. The voice is great. It would be hard to detect an accent from so many different options of english speakers. It is somewhere in the US, probably not near the coast. I like Dinosaur Jr. I Heard of them near the 20's I guess or a decade ago. Honestly don´t remember
what????
@@deepfocus888 misspelling?
this was in NYC
o great@@geckomacabrea wash in thong presentation...
What's the deal with the little hiwatt combo on a stand at center stage?
It’s for making the guitar louder.
I believe it was there for the revolving cast of guest guitarists during the entire week
You can't hear Brock AT ALL - Not one bit. WAKE UP SOUND MAN
The sound was TERRIBLE that night. You couldn't hear any of the vocals hardly at all in the crowd
@@j.waylonmusic642 Yeah, you can tell. It's as if they engineered the sound for a concert video with no concern for the paying punters in attendance. It's all about the money now with DJ. I have not been impressed with much since the single 'Watch the Corners;, that album bites - and the new one sounds lame as f**k. Yes, they rock live - but it's all about building a video archive and a new vacation home. I would have asked for a refund. Might not be too late to if you have the 'receipt'.
@@freddyjisp3064Give a Glimpse of What You're Not was a great record. And as for Sweep it Into Space sounding dulled compared to their other records blame Kurt Vile who screwed up the production royally. They play great it's just their soundmen keep holding their distorted goodness back. Did you know they remixed Farm to be quieter? Their managers said it was too loud
Qu'est ce que t'en pensestoi?
Amazing performance
🌼
Lou's Garden so much better than J's Without a Sound. Just sayin'
what do you mean? that's Lou's song he wrote it and I have never heard Jay sing it. Honestly mate I am not taking the piss, I would love to hear a J version of the song.
No wonder they're a 3 piece, their guests sucked!
Lou and Murph didnt record this album with J. glad they are together
I think Murph was indeed on this album, but Lou had been out for a few years in 1993.
Sound board tech is always scratching his head trying to keep up
