Great video! I almost guessed that sliding the panels in reverse with the clips remaining in the body was the way to reinstall but no - you demonstrated the proper method. Now I can fix the rust!
Thanks for making this video. I don't jnow how my front rocker panel came loose. Maybe I hit something in the road. But I didn't want to mess up any of those clips. Your video showed me exactly what I needed to do. Awesome . Thanks again.
Thank you for sharing this and I noticed a comment you made about the worth of a manual transmission 750.00 . I currently have one that is in disabled vehicle
Thanks Clint...I noticed there's a green panel on the front drivers side by the hood, do you know what that piece is called and is there a video of you replacing it?
The green part is the actual fender. As luck would have it I hit a deer last winter and had to replace the green fender. Here is the video I made about that. th-cam.com/video/y5AaAc30pgc/w-d-xo.html
@@clintsearcy3252 Thanks man, watched the video you sent and it was exactly what I needed...appreciate your videos, fixed my Sill Panels and replaced the headlights with your help :)
great video. there is one different kind of clip on the top front of the front panel. do you know the part number for that clip? mine is damaged and I think I need to replace it.

Thanks for taking the time to eliminate the mystery for the rest of us, Clint.
I'm happy to help.
As usual, ALWAYS great to see your Element videos ! I also like your bone yard hunts for Element parts. Keep ‘em coming.
Thanks! Will do!
So glad I found this video. My rear short panel is loose so there must be a missing clip. 😀
Glad it helped!

Thanks for taking the time and putting together the video. Greatly appreciated!!! Ed
You bet!
I never tried taking the clips off on my Acura's rocker panels, going to try this on my Element, thanks.
It might work.
Thank you for this !
.. then golly wish my rocker was as solid as that one..
Rock on!
My side mold just came off..my wife uses that for a side step. Omg the hold piece came off..thank for the video didn't know how to put it back
You might want to get her the running boards to stand on.
When working really close to something I might scratch, like the door, I put so tape on it to protect it from a slipped tool.
That's always a good idea. I like that blue painters tape.
Nice video Clint.
Thank you very much!
Awesome, you're a life saver.
Glad to help!
Great info, look forward to your videos, keep up the good work 👍🏼
Thanks. Someone mentioned yesterday that there was no video about this on TH-cam

Do you mean the clip that the screw goes into?
@@clintsearcy3252 no screw is involved. it is a nipple that pops into a 6mm round hole in the car side. Thx
Awesome this really helped me
Glad to hear it!
Any tips for what to do if the clip is still in but the part it attaches to is ripped/torn?
You would either need a new one or try to glue the old one with some urethane glue.,
@@clintsearcy3252 appreciate that!
Great 👍 ilove this information

thanks for the guide!
No problem!
That was a cool video thanks
FYSA: 2009 - 2011 have a somewhat different but similar "mounting" design for rocker panel trim... \m/
Ohhhh? I'll have to look into that sometime.
Great video, thanks

Looking at the thumbnail of this video, I thought is that Brian Johnson of AC/DC?
Rock and roll ain't no riddle, man. To me it makes good good sense. Is it the hat? It's the hat isn't it?

Thank you!
I'll cover some more of these plastic panels soon.
Well done, but why? Take 'em off, put 'em back on. Was this just a demo should a problem arise in the future?
It was a view request.
@@clintsearcy3252 Ah, okay. Thanks Clint...
