I have 2008 Honda elemnt. I've tried everything on your videos but replace the connectors. I was hoping that you would test the wires with a multimeter and what readings we should get. I read in the Honda manual to check G101 ground but am still trying to figure out where that is. I've heard that bad ground would throw different codes but I don't know why it's only throwing a P2647 code. Thanks in advance

Great for any Honda owner, I have a 01 CRV and I still found this helpful because the systems aren’t that different. The pump looks pretty much the same

just watched a video titled "Seatbelt buckle tensioner activation" produced by NothingSpecial which explained and showed the explosive charge warning going off. your videos are informative and go into great detail on how to do the job which helps me tremendously

I am no mechanic by anybody's definition, but I do have TH-cam and a 10mm socket. Thank you so much for the clear, well explained video. It saved us some money we couldn't afford to spend right now.

What if it only flashes when I start it?

I have a bad shake in my steering after replacing ball joints,tie rods in & out, and a wheel alignment. Would replacing the axles help with this issue? Never had this issue with my other element, and I have that on a lift kit

Great job! But next time you do this, take the caliper off completely after removing the piston, and thoroughly clean the caliper with brake clean and a wire brush, and clean the cylinder with a sift scotch brite and thoroughly clean the cylinder.. any acidic brake fluid and rust will cause more issues. After cleaning, fresh brake fluid in the entire brake system

Just replaced the compressor in one of my Elements. Used Denso. Top bolt closest to driver side was the bear. Because the head got beat up a bit used it on passenger side during re-install. I also had the one 5.5 bolt strip…..what a pain. Your video was vital in getting the job done successfully and with minimal cursing. Thank you for , once again, a great video!!! Please keep making them!

Late to the party again! When you were cranking, and I heard that 'gallop' in the cranking, first thing I thought was no compression on at least one cylinder. Did you ever get any 'closure' on this car? Did it throw a rod? suck a valve?

I changed mine and somehoe ROYALLY SCREWED UP and my door wont open at all. 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢 I have both panels off and have manually pulled and pushed all the levers and triggers and rods and i messed something up!! I think it has to do with the lock and unlock metal rod. Now my back door rod snapped and yesterday my passenger door one did too. I am locked in!!! Everyone has to go through front driver door!!!!!

Been chasing a P2646 VTEC code on and off for a year now, hopeful that I bought myself a few more months...long enough to forget how sensitive these cars can be to the oil. Whats your opinion on seafoam in the crankcase? I think my previous owner didn't change the oil as much as these engines like

The easiest way to tell is the VIN number. If it has YH1 in the VIN it's 2WD. YH2, it's a AWD. Yep

After seeing this, I managed to do my clutch on the Element. The clutch contacts the pulley though. They gave me a couple spacers and I used both, yet the friction plate does not spin freely. I'm curious what kind of spacer I can add? Thanks!

hey clint this is mark from murfreesboro!!!! any local support groups??? 2007 element sc with bigtime valve spool problems local mechanics where stumped ended up running a bypass somehow to keep the oil pressure sensor code getting triggered!!! did i hear some Ian astbury ??? kep on toastin!!!!
