    I hardly ever comment on videos but this one is exceptional. All the tricky details shown while one hand is occupied with the phone. In just a few minutes.
    Thank you for posting. Keep up the great work.

    Just what I was looking for, the comment section was a big help as well. Way to go fostering an informative community who is so willing to learn as well as share knowledge.

    Yellow plugs and cable are for SRS system not ABS. The correct procedure when dealing with anything air bag related is to disconnect the battery and wait 3 minutes. Otherwise you can possibly set off one of the airbag components. Including the seat belt tensioner.

      Yes that right. It is for the SRS. I confused when said abs. 🙂. Disconecting the battery is a must and right procedure. Thanks for catching up that 👍

    Came back to watch how you removed the electrical connectors at 6:05. Thanks for your careful camera work, saved me a lot of time figuring this out myself.

    This was a great help! With my 08 SC I had a few more connectors to undo but they came apart pretty easily. One of them wasn't easy to figure out so to help someone else: one of mine had a natural color plastic piece that needed to be slid back to allow the pieces to separate. With the seat out, I can lay on my back under the dash to remove the dealership installed alarm.. It's put in with t-taps and appears to only serve the purpose of having a blinking LED.. And I guess it allows dealership sales people one fob to open cars on the lot. Lame.

    Good day Miguel, I have 2003 element with no build in airbag in the seat. I recently replaced seats with newer ones (from 2004 model) and those seats have side airbags build in. Is there anyway to have those activated with 2003 model? Car only has 2x harnesses, just like on your video one yellow and one gray. However the new seats have 3x harnesses (I believe the 3rd one is for that side airbag sensor) Is there any connector that can make it operational? Thanks!

    Great video, thank you for being so careful in your explanations. I have a 2007 with integrated seatbelts. Is is basically the same? I have to remove the seatbelt assembly that's inside the seat, but I think I at least have to remove the seat to get to it?

    Very well done video! Thanks. My driver's seat leans back a little bit only on the driver's left shoulder side. I need to see if I can figure out why!

    Thank you for the informative video. When removing the passenger seat is the process the same as the driver's side? I appreciate your attention to detail, thanks.

    If I don't want to disconnect the wiring, how far back further than the rail can I place the seat if I just unbolt it? Thanks, great video!

    The driver seat was simple. But on the passenger seat, there is a second yellow plug. How do you undo that one? Not seeing a tab on it. At least, not easily.

    I took mine out without disconnecting the battery. Will this be a problem?
    Thanks

    What year is your Honda Element does it have a airbag in the seat because mine is a 08 and the seatbelt and airbag is on the seat can you still remove it

    • @Element_lifestyle

      mine is a 2007 and the airbags deployed. I'm trying to just get the seatbelt assembly out so I can get it repaired. How hard was it to do yours? And do you have any tips?

    Can I remove the passenger seat permanently or will there be a problem with the seat belt alarm and/or air bags when I turn the ignition on?

    • @Element_lifestyle
      @Element_lifestyle  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can remove tin, the only thing the airbag light will come on in your dashboard but not seatbelt beeping not. You can always buy a resistor and add it to the cable so the light will be off

    • @joolzbohr
      @joolzbohr 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @Element_lifestyle any idea where to get a resistor? I'm looking at doing this on passenger side for long term camping but keep reading that if airbag light is on, the system won't work at all. It will give me a much better layout if I can permanently remove it. I love your videos.
