Helpful videos on the Element. I appreciate you posting them! Question: Any idea of the name of the weather stripping part that you remove and toss to the side at 4:35? That stuff is coming off of every piece I pull from my Element and I wouldn't mind putting it back on since I am going to all of the trouble. Plus, I thought this question may be a real challenger 😉 Thank you for your video and time!

Hey I was wondering if you knew if you can put the 2008 and newer front bumper and fenders at hood on the 2003s because I'm building an Overland element and like the newer bumpers better
Hi, im looking into having the option replacing my ex p painted panels with the unpainted ones. Im assuming the 2006 panels will fit the 2008 exp? Thanks in advance. Thanks for the video
@clintsearcy3252 Nashville Tennessee 🤔....not exactly close. 😮💨 I'm in the Washington DC area (DMV) . So I was negotiating a deal on a Blue 2008 Honda Element LX, 82k Miles, No Accidents reported & only 1 owner, EXCELLENT CONDITION. Unfortunately, the deal fell thru. 😒😔 List price $20,648 (I think is ridiculously high for a 15 year old car. Had some surface rust on under carriage....so they tried to Up Sell me on their $2500 Rust Proofing Service. 😳 On top of that a $199 Vin Etch fee, Proc, Doc Fee $698. I asked if they could charge me $20 for Vin Etch. They said "NO"...🤥....So I told them I no longer needed Rust Proofing, Redo estimate without it. They told me they no longer want my business. 🤔 "Say What?" 🙄
@clintsearcy3252 Back to the Ole grindstone on the hunt for a LOW MILEAGE HONDA ELEMENT....preferably a 2008-2011. Is it possible if I choose a 2009 thru 2011, I can have an after-market moon roof installed?
@@LIONESS-eq1ix That's a lot of work. I would just hold out for the right one with a factory moon roof. I don;t have one but there are times I wish I did.
@@LIONESS-eq1ix You did the right thing. That was crazy high if you ask me. For that kind of money you can buy one down south (rust free) and buy a plane ticket and drive it home. and still save money.
These kinds of vids is what makes the Element community great!
I hope they help. I'm working on some new stuff for November.
Outstanding. The word Diligent comes to mind. And yes, the 'blues' are better than the green.
Thanks! I really liked my green fender but I think I like this more.
FANTASTIC JOB on the panel install 😁💪👌
Glad you like it!
Another great job Clint. Your the best Happy New Year from West Coast of Canada
Thank you so much. I hope these are useful.
Clint you are an Element magician! Great job
Wow, thanks!
I think it looks cool man ! Those two colors go really good together ! Awesome job ! It’s like you’re creating your own transformer!! 👍👍✌️
Thanks! Now I have to find stuff for the other side.

You're The Honda Element Miracle Worker 👷 💪👌😁
I wish! I'm just making this all up as I go.
Haha love it 😍
I’ve taken a few of those back panels off and if I remember correctly, u have to slide it forward to avoid the clips breaking
That's what the book said. I ended up just popping it off.
excellent!
Glad you think so!
Hey Clint are those colored panels plastic or aluminum? Always wondered about that. Thanks. Great videos 👍🏼
They're just painted plastic.
Clint, what's that little 90° screwdriver thingy you've used in a few recent videos?
It looks pretty nifty.
It's a Klien.

I don't know. It would be cool to find out though.
YESSSSSSSSSSSSS BROOOO YESSS
Many thanks!
Is it difficult to replace the metal rear quarter panel that runs under the back window?
Yes, That would need to be cut out and a new one welded in to properly replace it.

I haven't done it myself but I believe a 2006 panel will go on a 2008.
@@clintsearcy3252 Thanks for replying. Will research some more before i jump in
Got change mine soon
It's not too tricky.
Are the panels ALUMINUM or PLASTIC?
They're plastic.
Cost of the panel?
$40
What State do you live in? I would love to give you my business (replacinhg parts, etc...on my Honda Element), as I'm a gurly-girl!
I'm in Nashville, Miss Gurly. If you're close we might do a video together sometime.

How embarassing! U clearly stated in the description "PLASTIC" 😆
The gray ones and the painted ones look very different, but they are both just plastic.
