This might be one of the most revolutionary things I've seen in my time on this planet. Imagine what you can create with this and how fast. Completely changes the game of what a single person can do, the scope of projects and the time needed to execute even HUGE changes
@@flonkplonk1649 it's just dead piece of entertainment, it's supposed to be replaceable. It's not real human interaction. If we get flooded with endless amounts of generated content, I think we will value any detached piece of media less and will go back to valuing interacting with people, like we used to before we were able to record human expression in books and movies and games etc. Movies entertain us because they fool us that we're interacting with the real world and real living beings, but it has always been a lie, a dead limited recording incomparable to real life
I am at a lost for words, this is revolutionary. And im really excited to start using this to help build more depth for my film projects at school with a low low budget hehehe
I'm not so sure if this is the future. It's amazing now, for sure, and maybe for the very near future as well. I'm convinced that we will have no need for any of this in a year or two. AI will basically do everything for you, just write what you want it to do. Nice creative way to use the technology available today tho!
Generative A.I. by itself can not be copyrighted. When a person uses all of or parts of A.I. material, the final piece is that person's intellectual property.
This is the good side of AI people with talent know how to use it to improve original work. Its the people who use AT to create everything and think they are artist I question the implications.
I sont have photoshop and i dont intend to have it since its a minthly subscription…is there any alternatives that can do the same in another software..i dont mind buying it i just dont want to keep paying for it…impressive ai stuff thanks…
You should also be adding noise on top of everything to have it come together. The video will always have some amount of noise/ grain, and if you don't have any small movements of noise across the rest of the image it will not feel as real as the moving video.
4:48 Apparently, photoshop only generates frames of 1024x1024px, so if you select an area wider than this, photoshop will just upscale a generated picture of 1024x1024px to cover your selection. We thus get a lower quality. To achieve the best quality, it seems that we should build up our scenes by selections no more than 1024x1024px.
I've seen so many of these videos and all of you guys do it the same way. You take a still bring it into Photoshop and export it back. Why are none of you speaking on the fact that you can actually bring THE VIDEO straight into Photoshop and use generative fill on the actual footage? That way if you decide to export it back int whatever... you don't have to mask anything....!!!!
What give the effect away is that the bookshelf and the tables have no perspective change. When a camera moves in 3D space, we see the prospective change because life is in 3D. Here, because the foreground items are in 2D, they never changes perspective, giving away that they were created in 2D. Of course , if you aren't paying attention to them, then it would probably not be noticeable. I would have loved to see you you 3D elements. That might have look a bit cleaner. Still, it's really fascinating what you can do with Photoshop AI.
This video is a bit different since I made it during Summer vacation. I hope you still liked it! :) Test out Epidemic Sound for free here (affiliation link): bit.ly/2VyoaYg
one problem i’ve noticed is most of your videos have noise, while generated parts don’t. even if you put noise on top, it’ll give noise to the generated parts but it will add even more noise to the original video. just a bit annoying because you’ll always be able to tell which parts are real and which aren’t.
Great video Andy, I have seen other videos on youtube of people using Adobe (BETA) to expend the frame but as always you guys found a way to add value to your videos with the foreground Idea 👏👏👏 i have moved to Sweden a month ago and I'm opening my own video studio here, I hope we get to work together one day, you and your crew have been inspiring videographers like myself for a while now and I believe I speak for everyone here when I say Thank you! keep up the great work and hopefully see you guys soon.
Your tutorial on using AI in Photoshop to extend the set of Cloud Mountain is both innovative and inspiring. I'm particularly impressed with how you've shown the process of creating lamps with light effects and changing the ceiling and floor with AI. These techniques are something I'll be exploring in my own photography work. The final result in the video looks incredibly credible, and I appreciate the insights you've shared. Thanks for this valuable content!
If I use Photoshop's new Generative Fill with DaVinci Resolve, to create Depth Maps, will this allow me at least limited camera movement without breaking the illusion?
This is INCREDIBLE!! With this in your repertoire the price HAS to go up 🔥Some people don't know how much work this actually is. Just shooting a film alone is one thing, but adding this it almost doubles the workload. I hope they realize this and charge accordingly.
At 15 minutes if anyone is using after effects I'd recommend using the 3d camera and just positioning your foreground items, then animating the camera pan in. Great tips tho. For comping too a little bit of noise helps bring everything together along with the coloring.
22:48 What? I would expect such a nonsensical explanation from someone outside of the creative field. But what kind of backward logic is that? If anything, you don't even own the middle section since you didn't do anything about it. The people behind making the set, the publishing company who own the actual books, or even the camera footage created by a device own it, not you. If that's the road you are going to take, it makes no sense
Is it possible to create the same set from different camera angles? Your set looks awesome but if you were shooting a reverse angle and wanted to get other side of the room what can be done? Im wondering if a set can be created 360 view then you can place camera anywhere in scene this would help everyone i think. Cheers!
My greatest wish for these sorts of videos is counter-productive: I'd want more normies to see a small glimpse of the effort that can go into just one scene, but then more would have greater consciousness of the illusions at play to shape their perspective & thus lose the raw magics for knowing the spells.
The bigger copyright issue is that some AI models where trained using the internet, so other peoples work. Adobes AI models where only trained on their stock footage afaik, so I think it's safe in that regard at least
about the rights. i would say that the company of a paintbrush and paint does not own the painting. and the creator of the table, the camera brand and adobe do not own the filmed shot. so, ai does not own whatever you create with it, in my opinion. it's just the 'paint' of your painting.
@@RadAlzyoud you're mistaken about the terminology. Joshua is talking about 8-bit COLOR, which will affect the possibilities you have for color correction later on. In the video they were talking about resolution.
Magnificent video, as usual. It made my creative juices flowing so fast that in the first minute I already started playing with generative fill :) Thanks !
Good to see this coming out. Just a quick note that Aputure has used a bit of your footage for their VP primer: th-cam.com/video/n7Tl2jDfhCM/w-d-xo.html (credits quickly flashed on the screen)
We used AI for a new film here! th-cam.com/video/IRlDpzzBIjM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=uHqcP__JPaX4-hls
how did you do it since it's photoshop beta
This might be one of the most revolutionary things I've seen in my time on this planet. Imagine what you can create with this and how fast. Completely changes the game of what a single person can do, the scope of projects and the time needed to execute even HUGE changes

With this AI, the horizon for storytelling expands tremendously especially for those filmmakers who are on a budget. good work Andy 🎉
Precisely!
Simply spellbinding to watch the AI set evolve. Great video and tutorial.
Blaine Westropp -> Epic Light Media -> Matti Haapoja -> Andyax. Nice.
Thank You, exactly what i needed :)
This was such an insightful tutorial. Thank you Andyax
Incredible!
Absolute beast :) Great stuff. Loved it man! Going to use these inspirations ideas in our films
Finally, I don't need to clean my tiny apartment before shooting 💅
Thats soooo coool. Save so much money too.
10 years ago people would laugh at the idea of typing in a box and having an AI do it's magic like this, this is incredible.
Thank you Andy!
Nice, awesome work!

Amazing Work!
Wow, wow, wow. That was a revelation. 👏👏👏 Are you using DaVinci Resolve for all your editing?

what model of screen is that? looking really cool
I know this was just an example but i noticed you forgot to extend the leg of the table after you removed those cords
better than marvel

why didnt you do this in Fusion innted in editpage??? Fusion er jo konge ...
Nice tutorial... Do you need to be connected online, to use the PSD Ai @andyax
Bro should activate his Windows.
AI is "cool", but if you can do practical, just do it practical
your windows is not activated. do you use a pirated copy🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

Agree!
Right right that's true
Match Grain in After Effects saves my life every single time

I learnt 3 major cool new things in the first 2min and 50 seconds. I've been an editor for years! Thank you Andyax!
Wow. Commenting after that first 5 sec. Brilliant...
Edit : After 2 min this video makes me go wow..
Can you imagine what will happen once Neil Breen gets his hands on AI?

This is really good Andy! One thing that would have sold the AI even more is adding film grain, just to gel everything together.
awesome video as always Anders. What was the app on that tablet for the scenes that Kim was holding?

Do you have any courses that teach people like myself who want to take myself to the next level ?
Amazing work. I hope I can accomplish such great things like you sir.
Does Ai also tell TH-camrs to make a video about the exact same thing, which is already done by several other youtubers? 😀
My greatest wish for these sorts of videos is counter-productive: I'd want more normies to see a small glimpse of the effort that can go into just one scene, but then more would have greater consciousness of the illusions at play to shape their perspective & thus lose the raw magics for knowing the spells.
woah i did it! i am a noob compared to you but thnks to your clear explanation i did it with sony vegas lol Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
If you' re shooting Log, should you use the AI expanding after the color grade or vice versa?
Hey, what's the software used at 3:07? Is it Da Vinci?
Whenever I try generative fill like in the video the background areas of the canvas stay white... can anyone help?
The bigger copyright issue is that some AI models where trained using the internet, so other peoples work. Adobes AI models where only trained on their stock footage afaik, so I think it's safe in that regard at least

Very interesting. Thanks for sharing. 😊
What app do you use besides photoshop? “Davinci”?
If i wanted to hire someone to do this for me, say like on fiverr... whats the professional term or job title for doing this process?
What? This video is so good🔥😮
Inspired me to make my own version (even if only as a TH-cam short😂)
It doesn´t understand anything. It guesses from the surrounding context.
i suggest you activate your windows.... LOL
Wow, just wow, I'm amazed!...This was awesome.
Wow that is great!! I love it well done Cheers John:)
Such detail, amazing ❤
Thank you so much! I felt supported by u.
Don't forget to activate your windows 😅
The table is not square if you look at the legs and carpet :D
Good video. One thing. Generative fill can only do 8bit color right now. Keep that in mind :)
He mentioned that. That’s why he did the extension in chunks.
@@RadAlzyoud you're mistaken about the terminology. Joshua is talking about 8-bit COLOR, which will affect the possibilities you have for color correction later on. In the video they were talking about resolution.
Cool but the ceiling light source doesn't look natural at all.
Do you make works for others? And how much
Activate windows my friend
Thank you só much for This video 🖤

Hi! Ah I didn't know. Thanks for sharing 👍
Such a great tutorial Anders! It's really well explained and the result looks amazing! I've been wanting to try this out :)
That’s so cool that’s SO COOL
You removed half the leg of the table lol
Why not compound them and zoom
Such a creative mind
can we get the original assets?
activate windows bro
amazing thank you
Man i wish i can have your skills
awesome, genius
Wow! I'm speechless
what was the clapper app tho
Awesome work!
