    The EX3210R 32" Curved Gaming Monitor from BenQ has a very familiar look from the front. the typical, gamer aesthetic with a V shaped base. And I know it might not be for everyone, but I like the orange accents on it, way to be bold BenQ. There’s lighting on the back of the screen in kind of an X shape with 9 different colors and 6 different lighting effects, all controlled by the monitor’s OSD.
    I really like the stand. Its well built and its functional. It has all the adjustments you need, so Height Pan and Tilt. You also have the option to mount it to a monitor arm since its vesa 100 by 100 compatible. So, Good design overall.
    Then, let’s talk about the hardware. First, It has 2 HDMI 2.0 ports and 1 DisplayPort. Keep in mind that Full color 165Hz seems to be limited to the DisplayPort though. I mean, HDMI can do it, but you would need to lower other settings. It also has a USB Hub, with 2 ins and one out , and a headphone jack passthrough.
    Now let’s move on to the actual screen, it’s a 31.5 inch display with a resolution of 2560 by 1440. This really is the maximum size I would recommend for 1440p. Past that and things look a little less crispy.
    The VA panel in this thing has a MPRT or Moving Picture Response Time, of 1ms, and it has a refresh rate of up to 165Hz. Now this means nothing if the grey to grey response is bad, or if there's artifacting, and During my testing I was pleasantly surprised. I saw Zero Corona artifacts in the UFO test, and the ghosting that you sometimes see on high contrast scenes with VA panels, Yeah, I saw none of that. The monitor also has Blur reduction which works very well, and it has an Advanced motion Accelerator option that cranks up the voltage to the LCD which improves the grey to grey response and the overall crispness of the image by a lot. Just watch out because you might get some color fringing on the highest setting. I noticed it in the blurbuster test, but not at all in gaming, which is more important.
    So, well done.

      A bit disappointed that this monitor Brightness 🔆 is not that good at all, only when turning HDR it goes up but not all of Us want HDR. I never liked HDR at all makes games look brighter in some areas but I still preffer HDR off, not mentioning that HDR adds input lag..
      And yes you'll get 4k with the PS5 but limited to @60hz Damm Sony can't believe.. Xbox Can do 1440p @120hz with HDMI 2.0.

    Recently got the 27" version of this (EX2710Q) and honestly I love it. Response times are great at AMA 2 (since it's an LG Nano-IPS panel also used in the GP850, for which I waited but LG didn't bother making it available globally) and BFI works flawlessly. I literally doubled my scores on Kovaak's (Reflex flick hard) on day II. The MSRP is high for this new Mobiuz series, but I've seen the street price vary a lot e.g. MSRP for 2710Q was 600$ but I got it for 450$.

    • @BootSequence
      @BootSequence  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It surprisingly gets brighter when blur reduction is on. Likely because it switches from constant current lighting to PWM. As for the actual performance of the blur reduction, i can't comment on the xl2546, but to me and Dmitri from hardware Canucks. It was great!

      for 350, IMO its definitely worth it. As you saw in the video, it cost a lot more at launch. Just keep in mind HDMI is limited to 144hz. Also, speakers are great if you dont have any, but if the speakers arent important for you, there might be other options. All in all, I really like this monitor.

    After an horrible experience of a few weeks of trying to set the G7 32'' and failing, I really want like my Benq ZOwie Ex monitor 27 inches one that is "just a good monitor" as you mention at the end, but that is 1440p allows for a 144hz and is not too complicated. I hate the power bank that the odyssey has and all the companies try to hide in their show window online...
    However I really want as you say a monitor that just works and that has cool darkness. maybe I should try to go back to Uncle Benq?

    • @BootSequence

      I would suggest doing a little more research. I will guide you. Try to find what is the color depth at the refresh rate you want ( that's the difference in colors you see). For example, some monitors can't do 1 billion colours at 165hz. Only at 120hz. Also, i would suggest checking rtings.com to see if they have a review of both to compare!
