I wish people had just seen it in general. They can hate it if they want, but it seemed like the entire internet was talking it down as the box office reflected very few patrons having seen it.
Having no test screenings really shows in scenes like this. The scene and song is fine it's just that it seems to overstay its welcome and goes on too long. There's quite a lot of scenes in this movie like that especially compared to the first movie which i feel had much better pacing
Jackie’s character in general was like one huge question mark for me. (Spoiler Alert before reading the rest for anyone who hasn’t seen the whole film) There’s times he genuinely seems to like Arthur and treats him more decently than the other guards, but then there’s the moments where he has to reinforce that they’re not friends. It also came off like he was actively trying to pair Arthur and Lee together, going out of his way to get Arthur put in that music class and I can only assume he was the guard who let Lee into Arthur’s cell when he was put in solitary confinement. And during Arthur and Lee’s first conversation, you can see him in the background observing them almost the whole time. Since Lee came from money, I’m guessing she may have paid him off to achieve her goal of connecting with Joker. And like you said here, it seems like he’s somewhat resonating with Arthur in this scene. That, combined with everything else made me wonder if he was secretly a Joker supporter. Then Arthur’s outburst near the end pisses him and the other guards off to the point that they assault him in the showers. Peculiar character to say the least lol
@@Beatnu3000 Jackie's "sympathy" towards Arthur is completely understandable. Amon Goeth clearly liked Helen Hirsch in Schindler's List but he still abused her because he couldn't and wouldn't have changed the status quo. An opressor sometimes gains some sympathy towards the opressed but that's about it. Nothing changes between them. If anything Jackie's character was a classic bully done right
@X3Lament but i can upload from The Penguin strange though thx for answering hope you make a huge success with your Joker 2 clips like i did with Penguin
This movie was so beatiful. I wish people that didn't like it could see it with my eyes and heart

I love this part so much! It's so cute when Arthur starts singing!
IDK what people are talkin about, the music is fire in this movie
This is also very good scene, this scenes makes it worth it for it to be musical....
2:31 this bit is cool as hell. the way he kicks his chair and puts out his cigarette
Shared madness/joker 2 is now my one of fav films of all time❤
best part of the movie easily
This movie is incredible - Joaquin Phoenix is so amazingly talented.
This one is actually my favorite. Sinatra would be proud
My man would be rolling in his grave.

True love
I really with the joker is me scene was in reality instead of Arthur’s imagination. Just like this scene, Arthur was singing publicly
At least he is actually singing instead of his head
I love this scene but i wish he was in a joker makeup and dramatic stuff like in the other musical parts
Fuckin love you, Steve Coogan

I don't care what people said, this movie might actually be better than Deadpool & Wolverine
Is it just me, or is Jackie singing along at 1:42? If not, is he really doing it, looking at all this?

I found this scene both uncomfortable as fuck because of the tension but also somewhat funny.
