IKR, We should all chip in to buy him his very own 8RX with all the bells and whistles. Maybe two, so he has one for plowing and one for seeding. That way he won't have to get his hands dirty changing over.
Man the relationship and the separation of Zach and the 8RX even brought a tear to my eye. I hope John Deere has a reaction to this and decides to give you an 8RX just because of the great work you do as an Ambassador to the Green Machines.
Hey Zach, when you and John Deere teamed up and gave Farm Rescue 5k each, it inspired my wife and I to give $500.00 to them. There are going to be a lot of farms that will need Farm Rescue's help because of Covid-19, especially livestock farmers who are having to euthanize animals that can't be harvested. Keep up the good work and good luck this growing season! Andy B. North Carolina
Love watching your channel. I am a former farmer who, out of necessity made a major life change in 1979. Left the farm in Minnesota, got married, and moved to the Seattle area. Worked construction until the economy out there died. Went back to school and got a degree in electronics, and moved back home to Minnesota and went to work for a hospital in South Dakota. We bought an acreage on the home farm where we still live today. I kind of live vicariously through your channel. Love your machinery trials and hope you will be able to continue to do them. Best wishes to you and your beautiful family.
My son (6 years old) loves to read John Deere dealership books as bedtime stories. Tonight he told me he wants to read a Zack Johnson book. Or you may be lucky, and the problem is with dirt in a part that comes apart easily without tools. The situation with repairability of old and new machines was not discussed in the segment.
Hahaha, great showmanship Zach! It’s fantastic to have seen the development over the years when it comes to machinery, I was born in-67 and remember that my father even had horses for the work when I was a toddler. Of course they had some really Jurassic tractors as well and from there on the horses went out and similar tractors like the Minneapolis Moline came into use like the Massey-Ferguson 1000 series in the beginning of the 70’s era, then it became newer models and John-Deere’s and before my father became a pensioner it was Fendt only, most likely because one of the uncles were a AGCO Dealer. Hopefully you’ll get a nice summer to watch everything grow, and luckily you don’t have any hay to deal with when it is super hot over the summer, it’s been a curse to sweat, get long arms, strong fingers, and a sunburn that looks like a white T-shirt even though not wearing any shirt over the year’s.... but that’s part of history now and great memories. All the best from Sweden

I see the bathroom on the 8Rx has a bit more privacy and not having cramped quarters vs the MM
Rob Hakeman yea he kinda left that out of the overall evaluation

Love that you put the 8RX next to the MM. It's insane how far farm technology has come in a relatively short amount of time.
To bad white killed off MM and oliver, oliver was way ahead of their time.
bigbird8960 yeah who knows what Oliver would have built if they hadn’t been sucked dry by the white trucking issues.
They'd most likely be a direct competitor to John Deere by now. You'd have two shades of green to choose from.
