Hi Jason, again and fantastic, in-depth and comprehensive discussion and video shots of the new John Deere 8RX. I have seen the tractor in operation but not with the incredible detail discussion and tight video shots of each part of the 8RX. Well done as usual. Thank you. - Dean from Minnesota
por fin te conosco bigtractorpower gracias por todos lo videos que traes y te admiro por el tiempo quedas por traer videos al canal mis respetos bigtractorpower y un saludo desde bolivia
Jason, on your test drive, WOW, what a difference in sound the second you closed the door! That's why the old tin cab came off my 4020. This is a better video than John Deere produces to introduce their own equipment. Thank you BTP!
Some jackass gave this a thumbs down when it was only posted for 15 seconds. Who could possibly be mad at Big Tractor Power? I got you . . . Thumbs up my man. 👍
Thank you for the thumbs up. Every BTP video gets two thumbs down in the first minute on most videos. At least two people or one person with two accounts just doesn’t like my videos. I wish I knew why.
Thank you for watching. This was a fun opportunity to talk in depth about a brand new tractor. Hopefully people like it and I can make some more like it.
Great video Jason very informative. The representative from Deere very informative. Thanks it going to be a tough year ahead and videos like yours are always great.😎
I think both of you did a great job asking questions and explaining about how and why things were made the way they were. very enjoyable and I feel like I learned a lot about it.
Did I post about this last night? I don't remember. It's about soil compaction also. If a tractor weighs so much it's working against itself tilling. Of course the good thing is that engines are producing so much power now from less fuel that they can rip themselves off the engine mounts. Kind of a gravity problem I think.
What Dave is not saying is that the 9RX came about 19 years after the first CaseIH Steiger quadtrac.Even New Holland ,Versatile had 4 track tractors to market before anything from Waterloo appearred. The 9RX was Deere's answer to the Steiger Rowtrac. The original 8000 Series were first out in 1994.saw a 8300 in a dealers lot in Oxnard,Cal on September 20th,1994.I wish that Deere pushed the 370 up to the 380 to compete with the CaseiH Magnum 380.
That's an awesome tractor. Although I'm not a farmer, but in farming simulator 19 they have it on there and I use it the most. Great power. So cool to see it
I really like this tractor. I've been excited for them since your first video awhile back. I think this will be a big seller for John Deere and I excited to see what other brands will develop to compete with this tractor.
BTP would you let us know about John Deere by a documentary as you did for AGCO. It would be great if you make for all good agricultural companies. Count down has begun. I m still waiting. ...... ... .. .
I am committing before I have watched the video. But the maintenance in my mind is getting up there. 4 worm undercarriage has to be expensive, when compared to tires. And the slightly better traction and compaction, is it really worth the extra experience. Idk I love the videos content and am not knocking Deere or any company, I love them all.
I would like it is similar to other 4 track machines. Rubber tracks in general have to be replaced every 3,000 hours. I don’t know how often rollers need to be redone.
Engineers have shown that the difference in traction and efficiency by adding front tracks is very minuscule. For the 1-2% gain isn’t worth the added cost and maintenance costs. Still the best 4 track system is an articulated 4 trac tractor.
Quit grinning Jason lol. You once said something about test driving it before buying does this mean you are buying a 8RX 370 lol. Good information about the tractor. 👍👍
Thank you for watching. I know you watched the whole video if you saw the BTP Golf Shirt 😁👍👍. I have just made some shirts for me when I am filming and a few hats. I may look into making more and will announce them here in the channel if I get some made.
That is a good question that we did not talk about it. My understanding is yes you can put tanks on the tractor. A farm I film at runs tanks on 8RTs and I believe they have an 8RX ordered do hopefully I will film tanks in one in the near future.
Thank you for watching. I know you watched the video all the way through if you got to me driving 😁. I made some shirts and hats for me while I M filming. If people are interested in them I might look at a way to offer some.
I will have to ask but I am pretty sure you leave them at the spacing they are set at. It’s a pretty involved proves to move tracks on a 4wd size machine.
Hey Jason (BTP) & other viewers, the supposed individual named "Fortly" in the comments below is a new spammer or spambot & should be reported. Just a friendly PSA.
Zach had mentioned to me over the winter he would have an 8RX to run this spring. It is a great planting tractor. I filmed one a 24 row 1775NT this spring. It was impressive. I got to drive one on fall tillage last October. It was so smooth.
why cant one get up and wash the back window? now handles no steps big heavy guys no way .. and also danger of stepping on wire connectors and other things by the back window
We talk about price toward the end of the video. Depending on the hp Dave shares at the 47:47 min mark the list price ranges from $480,000 to $580,000.
No this is not sponsored by John Deere. I wanted to learn more about this tractor and had the opportunity to do so. I have a similar video in 2019 on the new Case IH Magnum and New Holland T8. I just like learning about tractors. I post a new video every day and this week the channel has had an International Harvester tractor video and two Case IH. Last week I had Steiger, Case and Allis-Chalmers.
Reliability 😂😂🤣🤣🤣😂😂🤣🤣🤣😅 none of this new equipment has any reliability... the more crap they put on this equipment brings more opportunity for failure and down time ... 4840’s 4850’s if maintenance properly and taken care of would go near 10,000 hours without problems, this new junk when is arrives on your farm a service truck from the dealer will soon be out ..
"The bigger one here is your wipers over here on the left side." (Touches right hand stalk) BTW bruh, "intermittness" is not a word. The word for the thing you mean is "delay." Dude seems a bit too excited.
Caterpillar had the first rubber tracks in 1987 with a flat two track system . Case IH was the second to enter the market in 1997 with triangular Quadtracs. These two brands set the industry standard. Cat went to a more angled track in 2001. Now every brand offer rubber tracks. CAT was the leader that every brand went on to emulate. Case IH’s four tracks became an industry norm.
Got to be one of the ugliest tractors ever, looks a little bit better with narrower track axle and wider tracks for the European market. It's certainly a look only a mother could love.
One hour of pure bliss.
Thank you for watching. This was a big video and exciting to talk with John Deere. I was not sure how viewers would like it.

Jealous case fans.
Might have to do with John Deere company and the right to repair. Some people just dont like them.
Great video Jason! What a beautiful tractor! Can't beat a John Deere! Lots of new features! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for watching. This was a fun opportunity to talk in depth about a brand new tractor. Hopefully people like it and I can make some more like it.
Great video Jason very informative. The representative from Deere very informative. Thanks it going to be a tough year ahead and videos like yours are always great.😎
Thank you for watching. It was interesting to learn so much about what went into building the 8RX.
I think both of you did a great job asking questions and explaining about how and why things were made the way they were. very enjoyable and I feel like I learned a lot about it.
Thank you for comment. Thank you for watching.
Great idea on a video! Please do more of them in this format.

Great video jason well done, some really good information in there and good to have someone so clued up on the tractor.
Great vidoe, very informative and Dave certainly knows his stuff 👍👍
Definitely the future right here. Can't wait to have one on the farm someday. It's not gonna happen at $3 corn tho 😅
It’s a nice tractor. Hope corn and other farm product prices will turn around soon. Low prices are hurting everyone involved with ag.
bigtractorpower These tractors wil be around $1000000.00 in Australia.
What a beautiful tractor and it sure is quiet! Great video BTP and Great tractor John Deere!
Thank you for watching.
Heck yeah I’ve been waiting for this one! Looks amazing! That cab has more square footage than my house!
It’s a nice tractor. Thank you for watching.
That's an awesome tractor. Although I'm not a farmer, but in farming simulator 19 they have it on there and I use it the most. Great power. So cool to see it
It’s a very nice tractor in the field.
People think that they know how good a tractor is or isn’t by playing a child’s video game is absolutely hilarious. 🤡
love the content hope to see more on the other lines of new equminet
Where do you put air in the tires
Very good! So thats what you look like! Just a nice guy, as I suspected!

I just filmed the 8RX370 planting corn. All I can say is it is one smooth machine on a 1775NT.
Cool video. Can you imagine bring back mr john deere?
Farming has come along way since first John Deere plow in 1837.
BTP would you let us know about John Deere by a documentary as you did for AGCO.
It would be great if you make for all good agricultural companies.
Count down has begun.
I m still waiting.

What is the life expectancy of the undercarriage?
I would like it is similar to other 4 track machines. Rubber tracks in general have to be replaced every 3,000 hours. I don’t know how often rollers need to be redone.

Another great video love to drive one.
They are s very smooth riding and operating tractor.
In the future they should make a four wheel steer option.
Awesome video! I wonder if this tractor could run a Silage cutter and bush hog?
Awesome Video Buddy!!
Thank you for watching. This was a fun opportunity with hopefully more in the future.
I wonder with front axel is width changeable. It looks like it could have a segment out ?
Why did you guys stop the demo of the x9 on Mike Mitchell's farm
Good information
Love you jhon deere
Восхитительно 👍👍👍
Very educational
Thank you for watching.
Engineers have shown that the difference in traction and efficiency by adding front tracks is very minuscule. For the 1-2% gain isn’t worth the added cost and maintenance costs. Still the best 4 track system is an articulated 4 trac tractor.
It's about lowering ground pressure for less compaction, not just extra traction.
so beautiful...
Fantastic
Quit grinning Jason lol. You once said something about test driving it before buying does this mean you are buying a 8RX 370 lol.
Good information about the tractor.

Hi mr btp thank you for th video
Thank you for watching.
Great video!!nice equipment!!😀
Thank you for watching.
@@bigtractorpower thanks for the video and I would like some more video of the 8Rx 👍😀
so how does this compare with the case/ih half tracks?
8RX series turn my crank.
Amazing video and awesome tractor! Off topic but where can I buy a BTP shirt and hat?
Thank you for watching. I know you watched the whole video if you saw the BTP Golf Shirt 😁👍👍. I have just made some shirts for me when I am filming and a few hats. I may look into making more and will announce them here in the channel if I get some made.
Can you mount tanks on it for say fertilizer for a planter tractor
That is a good question that we did not talk about it. My understanding is yes you can put tanks on the tractor. A farm I film at runs tanks on 8RTs and I believe they have an 8RX ordered do hopefully I will film tanks in one in the near future.

Which facility was this recorded at?
Alright bigtractorpower, whats your favourite machine?
halve a millon come on ..are you are all crazy...
A real cool tractor ,I'd shudder at the price though.
Why? Do you plan on buying one?
Buckhorn Cortez I've since found out there only around 480 to 600 thousand so I'll probably grab 2 or 3 .
How do you adjust the tracks for different row spacings ?
I will have to ask but I am pretty sure you leave them at the spacing they are set at. It’s a pretty involved proves to move tracks on a 4wd size machine.
bigtractorpower Thanks mate ,regards from down under for your great videos.

No it was filmed in February in Paducah, Kentucky.

Foot rests? Refrigerator? And no microwave? That's a deal breaker right there. Was going to buy ten of them. Hahahahahahahahahahahaaaaa!
