I've watched Zach since the beginning of his channel, it's never seemed repetitive. Sure, planting, spraying, harvesting happens every year but each year brings new challenges. This year Jim was recovering so he wasn't around during harvest, we missed him but the farm kept going, had to. Bottom line, Zach and his family are my favorite farmers on TH-cam.
What’s great about the M-Farmer channel is that he goes out to ancillary aspects of agricultural production, be it almond, citrus or apple orchards, dairy farms or even cattle ranches, and exposes their business nuances for us as well as for himself… it’s just a great way to publicize and showcase areas of life that so many of us just don’t get exposed to, IMHO
Always appreciate the support? Zach has for the dairy farmers. Been watching his videos since the early days. Signed a dairy farmer who gets up to milk cows everyday.
I am a farmer myself in Germany and love the millennial farmer channel, but it is sad to hear that TH-cam makes more money than producing food. That is no hate on Zach at all, I hope he and his family make a boatload of money, it just shows what our society really values.....and what not. I really hope people wake up soon, because farms are dying here in Germany, EU and I think the US is not so much different.
Being a 1st generation dairy farmer. I appreciate Zach giving respect to us. Sometimes it's difficult to feel sorry for grain farmers. Dairy farming isn't just milking cows. It's also crop farming. Currently milk price is very low. Mn and wi have lost many dairies in last 4yrs. Great podcast.
Hey guys, I just found your channel. I've been watching Zach for years. I really enjoy how genuine he comes across in his videos. I was a grain trader as well as an options trader my entire career. Watching Zach's channel is not only very entertaining, but he really does a superb job of educating his subs on how farming works. It's really very interesting, especially for a retired grain trader like me. The entire Johnson Family comes across as very real everyday Americans making the most of life. I have the utmost respect for them and all farmers. Even with all the great new equipment and modern conveniences, farming is a hard business. Anyway, I'm glad I was able to watch this. I look forward to upcoming content from you guys too. Thanks for the great interview with Zach. Cheers from Chicago
He is a truly humble TH-camr I asked him and 8 others about dewalt tools he was the only one to respond and with a honest answer i bought it have had it for 3 years now
It's fun seeing farms still running. So much of American Agriculture has been strangled by raising costs, especially machinery. It's awesome that youtube is helping people run farms that wouldn't be financially sound otherwise.
We are in south central Florida and do not farm at all but we love to watch Zach on the farm. He is so interesting and honest about farming. We like the John Deere products they use. The big tractors and combines are so exciting to watch, then something breaks down. We watch that and watch Zach figure out how to fix it. Really interesting. I am a retired State Police officer an unrelated field that would bore Zach. Keep it at that. Keep making farm videos.
I have watched Zach since the beginning, and he was my very first sub. He just reminds me of all my friends and the type of people I prefer to be around. Larsons, Brian Brown, Ivers, Farmer Johnson, Sonne farms, and Cole. I grew up and still live in farm country and both sides of my family are farmers.
As a fellow Minnesotan from the central part of the state, i love both of your channels, and hope to see more of these collabs with each other, such as Zach and Onyx joining you guys on atvs and snowmobiles, and you guys helping him out on the farm. Keep on keeping on Zach and the Cboys 🤙
I watch Zach and Larson farms because I’m not a farmer and I think I would enjoy doing it so it’s the next best thing watching a farm working. I do heavy construction on bridges and highways so watching these guys gives me a break and I can learn a little along the way
Love to hear a real farmer being honest about his revenue from socials💪. Hate when people with 5 cows and 50 ducks calls himself a farmer. Because without youtube it could never work. Just be honest. No names gold s f.
That was honestly just a great pod. A little different from the normal content but it was just super smooth! Been watching both the channels since the beginning and I really appreciate you guys hard work!💪
Wow guys, you really outdid yourself with this one. I love both of your guises channels the Wide Open podcast the Cboys and the Millennial Farmer in this was by far my favorite podcast. I tune in every Thursday and Tuesday when a podcast or a video is dropped and you guys have done amazing thank you for the entertainment .

I love being a farmer and seeing a farmer that I love to watch and of course love to watch you guys. If there is a possibility i think you guys should also try to get Larson Farms on the podcast.
I’m loving the pod here. One of my more watched channels. And the racing. But I have made comments on you tube because I’ve already experienced the situation. Being a mechanic in a farm implement dealership while in high school, driving trucks and farm and ranch born I just try to share a truck or tip. But I’ve seen so many people jump at that or even like your farm channel and they couldn’t diagnose a tooth ache.
A big deal for me here in oklahona is I hate that it's cold but no snow, no point in going outside. If there's snow at least there is a reason for it to be cold
As a navy veteran, I can tell you that the recruiters for the military are looking for good teens that play (FPS) first person shooters, because of the hand/eye coordination form then are high.
There are a ton of Counterstrike/CoD fans that went into the Military, Gen X mostly, some Millennials, but after that, the military is finding a lot of people that either have factors that disqualify them, or their PT is bad and the recruits are experiencing stress fractures due to leading more sedentary lifestyles. As for the question, you asked Zach about Farms folding. My Uncle and two cousins were farming approximately between 16,000-20,000 Acres (some owned, some rented with crop share.) The older cousin was diagnosed with Cancer in his Hip which was successfully treated, but came back with a vengeance about 3 or 4 years later which punched his ticket unfortunately. My Uncle and younger Cousin had some difficulties with the Equipment and Land Payments which ended in them downsizing Equipment and Land (they also ran a Saw Mill/Logging operation where they made dimensional Lumber, or hauled to the nearby Pulp and Paper Mill.) The younger cousin got remarried this past August and while doing an annual memorial quad ride for his older brother, him and his wife had an accident after the ride where he hit an approach he passed from his injuries and his wife was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition and was in a coma for a few days. She didn't know he had passed yet when she woke up. I feel really bad for my Uncle, my cousins wife, my cousins son, and my other cousin that went looking for them when they didn't show up. It took them a couple hrs to find, and he is traumatized. My Uncle lost his Wife(Lorraine Heidel 1955-2013) to a stroke, oldest son to cancer(Jason Heidel 1978-2016), and youngest son(Jody Heidel 1983-2023) to an accident all within a decade. If you google their names with North Battleford, SK, their write-ups are easy to find. I just hope my Uncle can find meaning again teaching his Grandsons about Farming, I can't even imagine.
So maybe what you tubers such as yourselves could do is have like an event were people could come to your farm or to your shop on a specific day to see you guys and see your shop or farms that gives them the opportunity to satisfy their curiosity in a controlled setting that makes everyone more comfortable.
Shoot I chime in on videos all the time . Even if it’s wrong or right. But only on channels that I like. Plus, I know it helps with the algorithm with people engaging.
As someone that also watches millenial, hes not lying. I remember he hsd a few vids take off and then all of a sudden bro gained a couple hundred k in a couple weeks.
Larsons do so much better with their videos it’s not even funny. For the guy that says they yell all the time doesn’t know what he’s talking about and obviously doesn’t watch.
I hope This message reaches Zack, but to answer the question about what content is interesting as a farming enthusiast every bit of it is interesting all of it changing cycle sections, cleaning out around the bins, etc., all of it, changing the oil in one of the tractors!
A comment was made about making the same video over and over and it was funny because I have been around the seasonal rotation a few times with the Actor that plays the farmer and I tune in to see what the dogs are doing, very sad when CatDog left for another farm, and to see whats generally going on with the farm. The writers for this show do a great job making the actors seem like real people who we want to keep up with. That's why I watch.
Well this was a treat! I watch Zack all the time on his videos. Very entertaining. For a camera I heard that the DJI OSMO is a good one and not too expensive alternative to a go pro. It's going to be my next one if my Gopro Session dies.
This is great content! Bunch of awesome Minnesota guys making Minnesota proud. And Ben since you got your motorcycle license are you riding on the highways this year? Hope so man!
Awesome podcast! TH-cam makes him more money, but the farm has far more at stake. The capitol balled up in the farm is millions more than the camera and computer equipment required for a TH-cam channel.
