@@MillennialFarmer winner winner chicken dinner! I’m enjoying your videos. I actually went to harvest with my cousin in Indiana last month because of watching your videos. I’ll be going back every year.
As a farmer myself I am really impressed, that Zach still does record while all this happens. If this happened to me, there would be no video because of use of strong language haha
the fact that he's mad and still gets the shot for you tube is amazing. he doesn't have to do this for us. if u see this I appreciate what you do to make us happy.
Yeah most people would turn the camera off for these two days. This is yet another reason MF is top shelf material. We get the good days, the bad days, the "my kid has covid" days, the eating nasty candy with your niece days, and all the other stuff that goes with it - and the dogs duking it out every morning. It's as close to being there as I'll ever get sitting in my living room.
@Daniel Kintigh agreed. Plenty of times I threw things and walked away (only to come back and keep trying). I feel for him as there is nothing worse than having the time pressure of nature hanging over your shoulders. Very appreciative if the raw emotion shown in this one
Some days everything goes wrong. Go home early & stay later when it goes right. Don't torment yourself there's already plenty of that for free. Also the air source might have enough flow but not enough pressure for the occasional clump to stall it. It's the only bit left you haven't looked at !
I'm glad you are showing what is actually going on and not just a fluffed up video of how everything works as it should. Love the videos. Good job editing Becky.
I'm not a farmer but oh brother, can I identify with those days when nothing goes right with equipment. Except when the mechanic comes out, then everything works perfect. Keep the faith Zack, tomorrow is a new day.
Its sometimes good that you show this side. Us farmers need to know we aren’t the only farmers having issues this year and it can lift my/our spirits when things aren’t good
Left you spirits? & that makes you feel better? I helped a cow farmer put some seasoned oak runners in his cattle trailer.. he bought spike nails.. think they were called 20 penny nails & 2 brand new wood handle claw hammer that weight at least 30 oz with meat grinder heads.. he used bar oil to grease way, I had driven a few nails, not without bending 1 or 2.. I was laying down on the lumber getting ready to drive another nail.. looking at that nail, I thought about how much it would hurt if I miss.. I'll be damned if I didn't miss that nail & come hard down my thumb.. I cry out with pain.. grasping my thumb.. painful enough I could have pass out.. the Farmer (Jene) what did he do? he busted out hard laughing his ass off, whole I layed there agony... he wasn't alarmed, he didn't console me or offered any help.. & he couldn't stop laughing.. how or why would a guy take so much pleasure in my pain... I figured it out.. it had happen to him as well.. & I guess he took some sadistic pleasure in knowing someone else was stupid as him.. I mean smashing your thumb like that... & that didn't stop the work either, we finished up that cattle trailer & called it a day.

Little do they realize the hours are 24/7 and the stress is non-stop. Hang in there, this too shall pass!

Zach, a huge kudos to you for making a video of when things don't go the way you want them to. Anyone who farms, or really any occupation but particularly farming, knows about those days. And it seems like when it rains it pours. I admire your ability to keep calm and keep trying to figure it out.
