Great video! bought the Corsair M65 Ultra to upgrade from my wire G502 so I can tidy up my desk from cables. I will miss the infinite scroll wheel though. reasons why I changed my mouse to the M65 was because it was better fitting compared to the more narrow G502. both are great mice's for sure. Keep the great videos coming!
I find the corsair m65 to be too small my pinky falls off the edge of the mouse :(
Yea same here in my Logitech the right mouse button double clicks. Bad for tarkov 😭
i currently have a cordless 502 and was going to change to a m65 but its a bit to small, both me and a friend own a 502 and we both have the same left mouse button problem where in a first person shooter when you hold it down for full auto sometimes it wont, its as if the gun is set to single shot, can also test this problem on desktop by holding down the left mouse button and dragging to make a square and yes sometimes the square disappears because of the dodgy button, also the logitech G hub software sux, i cant have it installed because it messes with and even stops some programs from working, in other words i cant program any of the 502's buttons
I've owned the Corsair M65, M65 Pro and M65 Elite and all failed prematurely. The M65 and M65 Pro both had scroll wheels which frequently collapsed (broke) whilst the Omron switches in my Elite had double clicking issues. After that I gave up but I too really liked the fit and feel of the M65.
😭 I've heard the gripes about past M65s but this is my first. People also complain about omron switches on other mice too, like the Logitech G502
I have used M65 and M65 Elite and face that same problem. But it shape fit my palm so well, so i still use it. 😂
So I encountered this issue before and it just went away with the m65 elite, for me I haven’t had it come back, honestly going to end up getting the wireless m65 as I’m trying to go least possible wires I been a huge fan m65 line ever since I got the pro
The Elites were plagued with all kinds of issues. Not the case with the Ultra. It's got a lot of same tech as top of line Razer mice.
@@TheProvokedPrawn And also, whilst I haven't had any LMB or RMB issues with my Wireless M65 Ultra, it doesn't go over 1200hz polling rate (and was advertised to reach 2000hz, hence why I bought it)... Furthermore, it's wider than the wired version of the M65 Ultra and also weighs a bit more... So whilst the wired version is good, the wireless version has some clear issues if you're a huge nerd like me lol
It rattles because of the best wheel in the industry, the free spin wheel :) I own G900 for 5 or 6 years now, and it also does that, but when you hold the wheel, it doesn't rattle. I plan to switch to Razer Basilisk ultimate...I will miss that amazing wheel for sure.
Yeah i just bought a new Corsair keyboard (K95) and mouse (Nightsword) but after having a Logitech G9 mouse for so many years i missed the free scroll wheel so much i had to buy a G502 lightspeed as well. I got a good deal on it and because its wireless it does not add another cable to your desk so i just keep it in the top right hand corner of my mouse mat but there are just times when using the Corsair scroll wheel is painful so its great just to grab it and have the best of both worlds.
I found that when you get used to a free scroll wheel its very hard to go back and having two mice on your desk actually looks real cool tbh.
here im a g502 guy pls dont get the basilisk ultimate go with the g502 i regret getting this hunk of shit the optical switches dont make it faster it will only cut like 0.2ms which u will never notice switches are mushy and alot of other faults
"It rattles causes it's good!" How bout it can be good and not rattle? You shouldn't have to hold the damn wheel for it to not rattle around like a cheap brandless mouse.
@@stuartfury3390 it rattles mostly in free spin mode. You don't notice it in normal use, just when throwing mouse in the air, so it's not important. It rattles because it has left and right clicks for horizontal scrolling, as also the free spin mode.
And yes, it is the best wheel in the industry since the MX Revolution came out with it in 2008.
@@stuartfury3390 It makes a very small sound but there is nothing cheap about the build quality of the G502 lightspeed and tbh that sound is made by design. You can press a button to switch it to normal clicky mode and then it makes no sound at all.
Having said that i always wear headphones so it makes no difference to me if it is totally silent or has a very small sound but i found i can not live without that scroll wheel it is amazing.
I think the ultra has a leg up because it was designed initially as a budget mouse so they couldn't overcomplicate it. They focused entirely on dpi. The premium-ish upgrades they shoehorned in I think hurt it but you can tell they didn't want to cut the price.
I tried G502 and M65 wireless recently and still quite prefer the Logitech G Pro X with a grip tape.
Definitely helpful, i am looking for new periferals. Going with m65 + k100 air & a Corsair MM700 RGB Extended 3XLas a nice finish. Though the mouse might be too small for my taste as well, i still love the design a lot more than logi
I cant buy M65 Ultra, cant find in stores (not in stock at amazon too)...
the m65 is perfect for me because it is very similar to the 502 in ergonomics but shorter in length. For me its perfect as a shorter 502 doesn't exist.
I got the Logitech G502X and their G HUB app would not see the mouse as "active". So I couldn't set it up. The G520 said it was Mac compatible on the box.
I spent 8 hours with chat help and email help, etc etc etc... Getting the Corsair M65 RGB Ultra and hope the iCUE will let me set it up for Mac gaming, as advertised.
Also, the M65 should fit my smaller hand well.
great review. I am thinking about the M65...I am a guy with small-medium size hands, quite square shaped, so a bit short and wide. I gravitate towards wider mice. I'm kinda wondering how big your hands are, as you should yourself holding the M65 a few times. the M65 looks quite small as you say in your video, but It also LOOKS like you have largish hands....
For me I prefer wider mice as well. My hands are about 7 inches long 4.5 inches wide (estimation) my pinky falls off the side of the m65, it's like it was designed for your ring finger to be on the right click while your middle is always on the scroll wheel, for me that's not how I hold my mice and I personally dislike it.
after a year... does your m65 ultra have LMB or RMB issues?
I have the G502 Lightspeed with corepad skates on, and hotline grips. Its amazing, but a bit heavy. And I hate that the mouse 1 and 2 are different, as in 1 is convex and 1 is concave. I prefer the shape of the G402. I wish that would make a hybrid of those 2, hopefully in 60-80g form.
if my keyboard is logitech, and my mouse is m65 pro. can the software(ICUE) set the macro with the keyboard button such as (ESC)、(F1) or some button in the keyboard?
Where did you get it from in the UK?
From Corsair?
Can you review silent click mouses?
both mice have double click issues due to outdated switches being used on modern operating systems
What mouse what you recommend without double click issues?
Does anyone know why Corsair M65 RGB Ultra Wireless can't be found new in EU?
Like all things, stock is low 😭
@@TheProvokedPrawn When I think about it, when the stock is low there are less mice :D
Great video, thanks!
You're welcome! Hope you enjoyed enough to subscribe 🦐
Two things that I discovered about mice and I play FPS games only .. 1. Once you go ultralight you never go back. 2. Once you go wireless you never go back.
Over the years of lost count of how many versions of the Corsair M65 that I've had and in comparison to my Logitech GPX Pro Ultralight it's (M65) like a brick in comparison.
The reason that I'm even watching this is I don't have an M65 wireless and I'm just debating about adding it to my collection... The one thing that I like about the M65 is it's thumb rest. BTW I play WQHD with my mouse between 4400-6000 dpi.
502 is not worth buying period. The left button fails. All the time like clock work. I have owned a 502 now for 3 years. Iv replaced both the left and right buttons each year Iv owned this thing. It's very light and all plastic, Iv taken this mouse apart so many times it's second nature now. A lot of thought was put into the mouse internals. Prior to this I had a G900 series, also with failing buttons.
Iv also owned 3 M65, their buttons also keep failing about a year out as well. But the feel of the mouse is really nice, premium, and when it works it's amazing. Hence I went through three of them. I just purchased a M65 ultra because I heard they changed out the buttons. Time will tell.
How is your M65 ultra?
@Human bean The M65 feels great in the hand, but it also developed an issue as well. Sometimes, it does not register a click. It was doing it so much I finally got fed up and tossed it over my shoulder and replaced it. For the last 7 months or so, I have been using a Corsair Nightsword. So far, it's doing well. Feels even better than an M65 in the hand, and it's very responsive. I went with a wired unit this time. At first, I thought it had something wrong, weird tracker and random dragging the mouse way up even without touching the mouse. Turns out, if you are still using your old Logitech power play mouse pad as a moyse pad. Make sure you unplug it from power. I am going to assume most mice are not shielded on their bottom side, and the charging pad is probably playing havic with any digital boards on the bottom of the mouse.
@@KruellNationGaming I see. Thanks! This info is very helpful. I migh consider getting a Nightsword instead.
I’ve had 3 g502’s, and had a g500. Been my main mouse for over 10 years, never had one problem with any of them.
@@b_____d absolutely loving my Nightsword.
Is the m65 not officially released yet?
It was recalled in the US weirdly. So I don't know what's going on with stock. 🤷♂️
@@TheProvokedPrawn wow that blows. Thanks for the info though. More than I got out of corsair directly lol.
It's been released. Its available on Corsair's website and Best Buy U.S.
@@tattooedsailor8666 oh I know. I've owned mine for months at this point bud
I Seen Some Place That The 65 Has Gyroscopes. Is That True And What Are They Used For?
You can bind actions to mouse movement (ex reload weapon by lifting the top of the mouse)
Nice review again bro
Thanks!
Im a fan of Corsair ram, AIO coolers, keyboards, power supplies, PC cases. But their mouse has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with a mouse. Constantly having to unplug and plug back in the mouse.
So True, same here
I still have no idea what the difference is between dpi and sens
DPI x sensitivity = the actual speed you move the mouse
You can adjust either figures to adjust the speed you move the mouse.
Higher mouse dpi will make your pointer speed go up. So at 1 dpi your pointer will move like a snail and you will have to pickup and move your mouse over and over. If you set the dpi at 16,000 your mouse sprints across the screen
I think you need to EQ your mic and get rid of some of that additional bass.
Thanks for the advice. Have a great life.
@@TheProvokedPrawn He does have a valid point. You kind of sound like Barry White.
His voice but me to sleep video very Informative

G502 simply looks better and is amazing with the power play mat 🔥
