Zach Mecham I've always been the complete opposite. I got a little bored with iOS so I went to Android on Lollipop and these days I still get really into gimmicky stuff like that lol.

Glad to see actual photographers testing the phone, wished you had time on low-light an how the aperture worked out.. How's the tools available on the phone, like removing red-eye or simple procedures, be nice to take night photos an send it quickly to others., Also seen that some are saying the phones flash is a bit fast an to bright...

So I'm new to this thing I have note 9, I bought the moment lens anamorphic one and I have both moment app and filmic Pro, when I use it for some reason everything is stretched out, how do I fix that there's a knob a hole inside the lens should I mess with that? Please let me know thanks

Man, I am a die-hard iPhone guy. I mean loyal to the bone to Apple iPhone and I have never like any kind of android anything but this new note 9 is pretty freaking awesome. From what i saw in yalls videos the dynamic range was killer. If someone wanted to GIVE me a note 9 I would definitely use it but......im pretty sure im goning to stick to my humble iPhone 8 plus lol. Awesome video guys. Thank you.

idk. I say that i'm a die hard apple but ill pretty much use what is best at the time. I stick with apple everything now because thats all i do post processing on with my photography. Idk, im not gonna say i wouldnrever switch to samsung. Honeslty, i think the new s9 and note 9 cameras are better then apples. Some in a lot of ways.
It’s funny that you mention dynamic range specifically, since that is where the iPhone X actually still beats the Note 9. The Note 9 has an awesome camera that ups the game over the iPhone X in a few other areas though.

How did you guys go about getting the footage from the note 9 into your video editing software? I shot some 4k video on my note 9 and when I tried to open the files in premiere and da Vinci resolve, it said that they couldn't open. M4a video format for some reason. Sorry if it's a noob question. Just starting to get into shooting videos. Thanks :)

Preordered mine, getting it next week. Will preorder the case too :) It is expensive but I like the S Pen. I hope they won't kill the Note line or of so they put the S pen into S series phones. I find it very usefull.

I'm on between Note 9 and Iphone Xr. But i think the Pen for writing memos and all sort of mark in pictures or prepare sheets and whatever the Note 9 is my tool

I don't believe filmic pro works properly with the snapdragon 845. You have no access to some features like 60fps recording or the slow motion.

Upgrading from the S7 to the Note 9. Pretty psyched about the camera improvements! Thanks for this vid, it was great. Actually really helpful to see because we live in the same city and we're seeing the same smoke haze right now! So I can actually tell how accurate those photos are to life. 👍
I think you guys didn't use the dual aperture system, you can change that too from the camera app. (Unless you did use it without mentioning it)

It is automatic yes, but it is also manually activated too, at least it is how it works in S9. And the results, as many reviewers showed during those tests, are improved, sharper I believe in many cases during the day-time. So, just wanted to know how that system is working in Note 9, in the hands of Moment. :)

I just got my Note 9. In your clip 4K 60fps how did you slow it to 24? with the phone or post edit on computer? That was awesome sharpness and speed. I really liked that.

But stock Android is still playing catch up. A phone like the Note 9, in terms of UI and features, is already like 2 OS versions ahead of stock Android Pie. It still gets security updates monthly. That's why Samsung doesn't break their necks trying to update to the next version of Android immediately. But instead they're refining an already superior experience. The late Android updates for Samsung are blown out of proportion.

I have a question i can't find the answer for..the Note 9 native camera Audio format for video - is it 16 or 24 bit, is it AAC, WAV, BWM, PCM? ...when in Filmic Pro AAC is the only option for Note 9, iPhone has the PCM option..so i hope the Native camera is Uncompressed audio..
