Not legally I mean. So sometimes I think she takes a disliking to that person, and uses her position to rule any old way she wants! That side of her I don't like, the "fame" side of her head! I've seen her make phone calls for example, one I remember was to check whether the defendant had a license to run a daycare service from her home. That was the right thing to do, because each state has it's own laws and permits etc. You couldn't say the woman had flouted the law based on where the court is located. She may be considered to be breaking the law if she doesn't have the correct permit in L.A or wherever this is filmed, but she's not in the act of breaking the law while she's in court...it has to be looked at from the law where the act took place. So it's right to check the rules in different areas. Other times, people have said in their defense, "but I don't need a permit/license/permission etc in Ohio" (for example) but because she's decided she doesn't like that person, she'll say "well you're not in Ohio now! You're here, and I decide what happens here! You signed an agreement to have me judge the case".... That could not happen in a real court, no way! That's Judge Judy using her ego and power to twist the outcome, it would be illegal in a real court. So she can chop and change her methods at times, and it's that I don't like about her sometimes. It makes her look unjust, big headed, and undermines her decision. But it's a TV show I guess, and the show pays any amount awarded, not the loser. So I guess because that person isn't out of pocket personally, she feels she can "punish" them if she doesn't like them, by telling them they lost and having that satisfaction. But yeah, her playing "dumb" act is what she is good at, and at least that side of her is trying to find the truth, and stay within the law. 😘

I don't agree with her every time on her rulings, mainly because sometimes she awards one side merely to make a point to the other side, when from a proper law perspective, the person she sides with, is not really entitled to receive the award.
Why did gardener tape her on hand to tell her to be quiet. A yahoo? 😁😁😁🤣🤣
Martial arts is all about protecting yourself and others, looks like you fail in defense LOL
Man I want to see this whole case
Me too
LOVE IT!!! What you just said to me doesn’t necessarily help your case.
This is how bullies respond when they think that their low self esteem is being challenged somehow.
Judge when I am busy working I spin and go into a defensive stance sometimes hitting if working very intently on something and have the crap scared out of me
The gardener was right to signal the defendant to hush, she would of had the case thrown out
part 3 please
Yes you can hold both
The plaintiff looks like a nucience .
"Black Belt Frank" can't seem to keep track of his lies 🤣🤣🤣
God bless freedom, besides when it comes to ignorance.
He is a "Black Belt" in Karate, and yet he couldn't dodge the rake... 👁👄👁
0:20 OH OH, dude just BLEW IT(😜😁😂) No one uses a backpack blower and a rake at the same time. As a teen I worked on a clean up crew for a county for a summer, three towns trimming trees, grass, various facilities, on a ski lift. We took turns with the backpack leaf blower's (more fun) various grass trimmers, and the rakes. I never used a rake and a blower at the same time. No one did.
“I’m a black belt in karate” 😂😂😂😂 sure you are
I love Judge Judy, would be nice if everyone thought like her. We would all live in more of a fair world lol
You know the general consensus was that she butchered this case right...she's only huma after all. In the earlier part of the episodes he couldn't even tell the difference between a dead and dormant tree.
Seriously! No ending!
Judge Judy brought up a good point The rake
Old ass grand pa lying like this
