  • Today as requested I take apart and show you guys the innards of the newest PS4 Slim Controller!!! On the way we are going to be replacing the Springs and the Triggers. Unlike the Gen 1 Controller it is important to take apart as much as you can to get the triggers isolated and to be very very careful. Go slow Take your time and you will be successful!
If you are already at the stage where all you need is the triggers and the springs I suggest skipping to @16:00

Hey guys as a small TH-camr with a broke college lvl budget ramen noodle night I recently got hit with the TH-cam change. Basically they are demonizatizing all of my vids if I don't hit 1000 subs by Feb 16th. With that being said I would appreciate a sub and will sub back! Thanks for watching, thanks for reading. I appreciate it guys!.

@@MrLoverman7134 That comment was 4 years ago. Back then you made TH-cam Partner at 100 subs then the whole logan paul thing happened in japan with the S...forest. TH-cam's response back then was to cut everyone's partnership under 1000 and stop all payments and revenue they didn't prorate anyone they just cleared the balance and waited till u got at 1000 subs.

So, I have the DS4 V1 controller....and somehow the R2 button isn't registering as 100% pressed. What I mean, is that is physically press the button as far as it can go but in the game it isn't registering that and it only get a response as if I'm throttling or lightly pressing the button. Any ideas, fix, or theories?? Help me, please, Scorintron!

I GOT CHU Homie! Check this video out I did. I actually explained the silicon pads and what could cause R2 from messing up like that
th-cam.com/video/1ZZ0pTJioLA/w-d-xo.html&t Might be your springs or the placement of the silicone pad. Check the video out let me know what happens.

Tip: Of you’re controller runs by itself when pressing l2 all you have to do is take the controller apart and make sure every blue part on the analog stick is pushed in all the way, this just saved me $60 🤷🏻‍♂️

Could you explain why/if you need to do 4:30 to 15:20 just for replacing the triggers/springs? I don't recall it being necessary in the previous model and from the video I can't quite understand why it would be necessary to remove the front panel. Was it just to show the insides of the front?

13:19 Today I've opened a Dualshock 4 I bought in late 2017 and I was surprised as hell when I saw that the SHARE and OPTIONS buttons are now also attached to the main frame, along with some other minor changes compared to my 2016 model (same one as in the video) like a new ribbon cable on the touch pad and the battery plastic frame now being held in place with the motherboard screw. I swear Sony makes these things sturdier each year. I wonder what I would find if I'd buy a new one now in 2018.
