I just made my first 20 oz. tumbler watching your video. Your instructions lead to a successful gift for my sister's 60th birthday. Thank you so very much for taking the fear away from sublimating tumblers and more future projects.
I loved this video. My tumbler press arrived today. I got the Vevor tumbler auto press and I can't wait to get started. When I ordered the press, I got the Joy Club 10 pack 20oz skinny tumblers and the A-Sub sublimation paper. I am waiting for the tumbler accessory kit with the silicone clamps and the tumbler measuring tape. I'm so glad you like the clamps, because I was reading the reviews and some people liked them while others didn't. I always need an extra pair of hands when doing projects, especially when I do mugs with the Cricut Mug Press. It's frustrating when putting on the tape. I look forward to downloading the patterns (I was wondering if Cricut Access had any, but I'll check out Canva) and making some really nice tumblers to give as gifts and maybe sell. I will definitely check out the brand of tumbler you mentioned in the video, as Amazon has so many different ones and I like budget friendly options.
You are the GOAT I just started doing cups and I love it seamless is my favorite and you explain so good cause I use the same cups and my measurements are never the same 😢
You are so awesome! I just did my first 20 oz tumbler and it came out great! Slight line but acceptable. No ghosting at all. This taping method was great it all was nice and snug. Got my oven today and had to use it. Can't wait to do more. Just have to get the sizing a bit better.
I love, love, love this video! In fact, I love all of your videos! The way you explained everything makes doing tumblers so much easier. I absolutley love these designs, they are soooo darn pretty, and that they are 3D makes them so much prettier. I can't get enough of your videos, and they just keep getting better and better. Thanks so much for the free designs, theye are beautiful! Thank you so much Angie, you are one of the best for tutorials!
This was so detailed and perfect. I just got this press and wanted to jump in. I also just started experimenting with Canva maybe 2 weeks ago. I can't wait to design one for my sister's birthday and see how it comes out. Cheers to jumping in. Thanks so much 🎉❤
Gday Angie, omg your a life saver, thank you so much for this tutorial, i had a few fails today, going to try your way tomorrow. Have an awesome day/night and again thank you.xx
Thank you so much! I was getting a dark seam line for some reason after doing about a dozen. Now I know why. I became discoraged, but now I have the tape trick. I'm excited to try again.
I just received my sublimation printer.....this video is just what I needed and it was perfectly executed. Well done!!!! Thank you for sharing your knowledge, it is appreciated.
Thank you so much. I sent you a thanks. You deserve it. Thank you for tips that even a seasoned sublimator like me found very helpful... You are a doll and a breath of fresh air..
Brilliant to put the seam on its side, in the press. My tumbler press is being delivered today. My old Cricut Mug Press has been losing its heat in some spots, so I looked to buy a replacement. Wow, have tumbler presses come down in price! My new press (with hundreds of reviews) is about 2/3rds the price.
The oven is the way to go. maybe its a personal preference but I tape from the middle out. I dont tape the top edge because I use silicone bands around the tumbler. you can't do this with a tumbler press though. the oven is great.
This is wonderful. Thank you so much. Do you have, or can you make, a video to make sublimation mugs using the tumbler press? I found a video you did with the cricut press. But I couldn't find one where you use the tumbler press. I think 2 can fit in at one time?
Angie, you have just convinced me NOT to get into doing tumblers. I would never be able to pull this off due to having tremors. Thank you for another awesome video. Your amazing.
Thank you! Very helpful! I'm struggling with 40oz tumblers. I want a full wrap. It stops at the handle. I' keep redoing the measurements and wasting ink and paper trying 😢 Do u have a tutorial for the 40oz tumblers
Hi what brilliant advise you give . You are going to be my go too when I do all my sublimation . Can I ask how to you flip the writing on your free template for printing please . Many many thanks from across the water ( Scotland uk )
Hey, great video, very thorough, but I have questions about the setup for the printer? Like the specific's from the printing window? What are those specific's? I've watched quite a few videos, but everyone zooms through those settings. I really appreciate your help. I think we have almost the exact same set up, but my designs are not coming out the right size, and intensity. So it's really frustrating. I appreciate your help! Keep posting, great videos, and again, very thorough. I appreciate the details.
Hi Angie, I just watched your video and I just can't wait to make my first tumbler. But first I have to order the supplies and I noticed on your Echomerx tape dispenser, you have larger rolls of heat tape, your link to cricut heat tape shows small rolls. What large rolls of tape are on your Echomerx tape dispenser. I tried googling cricut and they only make the smaller rolls. Do you have the PYD heat tape on your tape dispenser? thanks Angie
Hi Angie, thank you so much for the free Canva template. I made my first sublimation tumbler with it today. I love how it came out. I wish I could post a pic.
Thank you for this detailed, well explained how too video! I am just starting with sublimation and this was so very helpful! However, what is the name of the "stretchy" heat tape you used? Thank you!
Thank you so much for the hacks. Am going to give these a try. Do you have a link for the stretchy heat resistant tape? The link appears to be for the regular heat resistant tape.

I use the pyd tumbler press and their tumblers. Can you please tell me exactly what measurements you cut your design to? I only have a problem with the bottom not coming out crisp everything else comes out prefect. Love your videos
I have done this same thing with the shrink wrap. I will say if you get it REALLY tight, you shouldn't have puckering. That also depends on the tumbler and if they are slightly tapered.
Thanks Angie! Great video. I did my first tumbler before I saw this and it came out great but I really think it was beginners luck as I wasn’t sure what I was doing! These tips will definitely help in getting a nice seam. I love your patterns and can’t wait to use them. Thanks again.
I purchased 3 oz shot tumblers for bartender co-workers. My heat press doesn't have a heat sleeve that adjusts small enough to put pressure on the 3 oz straight tumbler. What is your suggestion? I don't own a sublimation oven
I went on a sawgrass facebook page and specifically asked which setting I should be using for my stainless steel tumblers - they said tumblers if they are white - stainless steel if silver - I thought I should be using stainless steel because they are stainless steel - would you please confirm? Thank you!!! Great video! Much appreciated!
Hi Angie--- you do put out some great stuff! I've learned so much just from watching your videos. Thank you! I do have one question, one video you made provided us with a canva hack to have a jagged name seam. I had it but when I got new pc I lost track of it. Have since tried to find it using your link but cannot locate. Pls help! Again thank you!
Thank you for sharing! I downloaded the 3D pattern file and I used your links to order the PYD tumblers, I was running low on tumblers, and I also ordered paper grips, I can't wait to use the files, thanks.
Great video! I do have a question - when I tape the top of my tumbler into the tumbler, I get ghosting. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? Thanks so much!
I use this method on all my tumblers and get good results. I would maybe try another brand of tumbler. Some of them are really tapered at the top and bottom and are harder to make look good.
This may be a stupid question, but I am totally new to this. My sister bought me a tumbler press for xmas last year. I have a cricut and know how to use that pretty well. I would need to purchase a sublimation printer in order use the tumbler press, correct? Also, can one use the tumbler press with a handled tumbler? Or, does it have to be one without a handle?
what infusible ink sheets should i used on my navy-blue tumbler? I have try red and pink and yellow noting show on it lease help thank you. I like you video so much.
Nothing is going to show up on navy blue well. Infusible Ink is transparent so the base color will show through. You may be able to see black but it won't be very bold.
Hi Angie, really love your TH-cam’s and get so much from them. I have a Cricut mug press however I am wanting to do more than just tumblers so it has left me wondering if it would be worthwhile getting a tumbler press which does mugs as well and selling my Cricut mug press.
Oops! forgot to ask where did you get the stretchy heat resistant tape from? I couldn’t find it listed in your links with other supplies. I already have some heat resistant tape for sublimation but not sure if it is stretchy or not and I live in Australia so not all products are available here.
I have done tumblers in the mug press. I find the tumbler press does more things easier but it is large and cumbersome. I would say you can get an oven instead for more flexibility.
@@AngieHolden Hi Angie, Thank you for your reply and advice. Unfortunately I do not have a lot of space but on the upside one of my suppliers here in Australia has a tumbler/mug press for about the same value & size as the Cricut mug press. Therefore I am thinking of selling my Cricut mug press and investing in the tumbler/mug press. Thank you once again for all your great tutorials and keep up the great work. Happy 4th of July for tomorrow.
Great video, Angie. I love the tip on putting the thin piece of tape and then overlapping. Worked great! Yep you can! I have done it but I am not even sure which video it was! But yes two at a time.
my problem is when I removed the tape after the heat press, I could see the tape marks on the tumbler. Any advice, on what I might be doing wrong?>

A sublimation tumbler that is silver will result in a change of your colors and they will not be as bright and vibrant.
I use the pyd tumbler press and their tumblers. Can you please tell me exactly what measurements you cut your design to? I only have a problem with the bottom not coming out crisp everything else comes out prefect. Love your videos
It is very dependent on the brand of tumblers you purchase. My files are to the size for the PYD life version.
That's what I use and I also use their tumbler press also where did you get the green stretchable heat tape

Depends on the size of the cups and what accessories you have for the tumbler press.

That is dependent on your image size.
