for the size of the van you pack alot of gear into her mate, by the looks ..i don't think there is any job you would struggle to do......hats off to ya mate...she's a beauty.
As a beginner it’s inspiring to see the lengths professionals ,such as yourself, have gone to so that you are efficient yet workable. Keep up the great work.
You have the most variety of tools needed that I have ever seen on a rig for detailing. My compliments to you for being able to keep it neat and organized.
Its TH-camrs like yourself that inspire me to stay motivated and stay in this trade and keep learning more thanks I can really sense your love for what you do.
Nice mate... Great set-up and a nice option to the standard Iload everyone seems to use. I almost went down this road. I mean trading in the subie outback and buying van. Although I advertise as a Mobile detailer and spent 2.5 years being truly mobile I am now able to convince 95% of my customers to drop their cars at my place. I still work out in the open but all equipment I just roll out of my garage. I have awesome neighbours who don't seem to be affected by noise and support the business. I even have a mate who lets me use his shed on rainy days, it's far from perfect but does allow me to work undercover. Maybe for whatever reason I have to change and go back on the road, but for now its working well. The one thing I never did was offer to provide water or power and never had a problem with that. That's one mighty pressure washer you have there, you could make people disappear with that. My air compressor is a leaf blower but believe me if I had more space in garage I'd probably buy one. In my heart of hearts I want at least the size of a double garage set-up with lift capabilities to raise cars and proper lighting but I'm allergic to overheads.
Since you work from home often you could buy a folding canopy and find a portable way to anchor it down ( 4 buckets with cement would work as anchor weights).
I live in a complex so there's certain body corporate rules that restrict what I can erect in my driveway. I've got the biggest marquee ( roof / no sides ) you can put up by yourself as i work alone. 4m x 4m. Adding sides just turns it into an oven. For medium size sedan that cover front to half way down back window, so has to be moved for back. Reality is when the sun moves across sky it exposes panels and marquee has to be moved again. I ain't movin no 4 buckets of cement that much. If you get any cover it has to be 6m x 6m at least and probably bigger which for me and the space I have to work in is unrealistic. That's a lot of sail area so has to be secured properly. If I have to use mine I use it on days with light or no wind. If your a dedicated to the detailing you would be better of getting a 6m x 6 m carport.
Thats an awesome setup,if i had the money ,i would setup just the eay you have your van,i mean you have top of the line equipment,,i love the foam pad selection you have, your generator and powerwasher is awesome, youve spent big bucks on your setup and you remind me of myself as far as having EVERYTHING you possibly may need down to a spare change of clothes!!I can tell by your setup the type of work you do,you use an airbrush for touchup and wheel repair which is great.alot of people wouldnt understand why you would need all that just to detail a vehicle but a true professional as myself can really appreciate a setup like yours ,Im envious ,i have been watching videos of driveway detailers or so called mobile detailers that didnt even have a basic polisher, compounds, pads, just a mobile car wash?I think your van and setup is second to none, more organized than ill ever be,ill probably watch that video again and again ,love the setup, good luck.
I'm just starting in the detail business and I think my whole arsenal will fit in your cart. I got to start some detail job's just to pay for what I have invested in.

just came across your channel and love your videos!!!! you are very informative and do the point!!! I just got into the business last year and try to get as much info as possible to keep learning and bettering my skills and knowledge. And you sir give great knowledge!!!! thanks
wow great setup mate. I am a car enthusiast and only starting to have a basic setup to do car detailing for friends and family. Looks like I have a loooooong way to go. well thought out van and gear. that's for the inspiration. keep up this channel!!
Sweet set-up! I dream I get there one day. Must be fun having all those goodies! Not having everything you need right there makes for a frustrating detailing job
@@CarCraftAutoDetailing hello, aspiring detailer / car enthusiast new to the industry. Does the lack of shade inhibit your results on certain jobs as you're fighting against the sun? Or do you pick your battles on mobile jobs, utilizing client's facilities or just choosing to use your own?

Incredible organization. You have made the most of every inch of that van and everything is so easily accessible. Credit to you mate! Love the old liteaces too but getting quite rare now! What area of Melbourne do you service? I'm out in Essendon
a quick question that you have answered in other videos but in terms of sanding and paint correction what do you prefer? air powered or electric? with air powered what size compressor would you suggest as a minimum? love the videos. keep it up mate.

The best thing about this type of set up is everything and i mean everything is tax deductible every year as long as you keep every single receipt and claim is back once a year when your doing your tax. :) Which is why they say christmas in july. :) Keep up the good work serg. :) Just wondering if your able to come out to regional areas like say Geelong or Ballarat, with a little extra for the time spent out that way ?
No worries Sandro. :) Still if only 50% of the detailers had your passion in car detailing, then most of the car enthusiasts would not travel down to melbourne to get a real good detail and even a good car wash as well> Example i paid 100.00 to have the car detailed inside and out and when i went to pick up the car they missed the lower 1/2 of the front and sides and the rear of the car, in the end i did a review online and spock my mind. :)
