Another great video! I wish you would do a video showing how to determine if a brush is stiff bristles or soft bristles. Since stiff and soft are relative terms, how do you decide what a particular brush is? For example, in another video you used both a Mothers Wheel Brush and a Mothers Fender Brush. Are they stiff or soft? Are both brushes the same stiffness? Thank you.
If the bristles have feathered tips, they typically are soft. If they are individual stirdier nylon or similar material, they are stiff. I go by feeling in the hand. If they feel soft, they’re soft. If not, they’re stiff.
i just use the pressure washer on my wheel wells. except i keep the pressure washer off. my 3yo car rear wells have a carpet like material there for some reason. front is the usual plastic. for a squeegee i use a RainX wiper blade off my previous car. its has a 24" reach. one pass on my rear window takes about 90% of the morning dew off. Foam cannons are great fun to use. I used so much less soap to cover my car in thick suds than i expected. I only paid $17 for one. I highly recommend one. it made the washing part a lot quicker.
Another great video. Thanks Pan! Can you make a video about how to take care of YOURSELF? This is a very much physical job that can certainly take a toll on your back and arms, and knees with time I’m sure. Do you treat yourself to a spa? Chiropractic sessions? Massages? Thanks.
I have been working in car detailing at dealerships for a long time and the willie brush hair scrub is not the best for removing hair and dirt a better option is the Penstone

I have only one issue that I'm unable to find the products and tools you suggest on Amazon India. Can you please help me with that? That pet hair remover rubber thingy is the same thing as a window squeegee and some caulking tools that are very inexpensive. Better yet a shop vav with the bristle attachment

Great video as always Pan! I use washing up gloves for car washing because it’s cheaper, better for the environment and they have longer sleeves to protect your wrists. Should I switch to nitrile gloves, what makes them better?
I wear nitrile gloves as those have always worked for me. It doesn't really matter what they're made of, as long as you're protecting your skin from chemicals.
sorry for the noob question, buying a bunch of product at once and mostly going with your recommendations. Would both the fender/tire brush and the tire brush you recommended be needed? Wouldnt the fender brush be able to clean the tire as well?

Great video Pan, oodles and oodles of valuable info on tools and tips of the trade. Good sound and video all the way through. My ONLY comment and feedback that I've noticed about the footage, and it's no bigs, is when you grab a product to bring close to the camera for the viewers to see up close and to read. When you bring the product up close for the viewers to see and in some cases to read what's on the label, Try not to bring it too close. Your vid cam can't focus on items that close. It could also be that the "auto-focus" feature is ONLY set to focus on items that are in the center frame. This could be the problem. Either that, or give the camera a little longer to focus on what you're holding up. I know the tendency is to want to keep it moving and not to linger, but you can always defer from that by giving more in depth info on the item while you're holding the item steady....until the camera catches up and brings it into focus. I noticed that's what I think you were trying to do, but many times you rush through it and the vid cam never quite catches up. Like I said, it most CERTAINLY does not give you a fail because of that, not by a long shot, because your videos are always chock full of useful information. But if you want to go from ALLLLLLLLMOST perfect, to PERFECT ??? . . . . that's all you need to do and as they say "Bob's your f**king UNCLE" !!! You will hit a home run brother. Looking forward to seeing more of your vids and how to's during this self isolation period.

Hey Pan hope you are well! I have a protective film on the front hood and side mirrors of my Lexus. Do you have any videos on how to clean those? Are they even useful on a daily driver?
Thanks Dave! There isn't a "best size" for pads. It really depends on what polisher you have. If you have a polisher with a 5 inch backing plate, you get a 5 inch pad. If you have a 6 inch, you get a 6 inch pad. And so on.
Hello pan ! Awesome video ! But you forgot to mention how do you wash the clay towels. Do you clean the clay towels the same way as microfiber towels ?

Plethora of knowledge in your videos... Thanks
Thanks Ian! I appreciate the feedback. What’s your favourite video on my channel so far?
thank you good teacher I like any time i see good work

OH NO IM THINKING BAD THOUGHTS 😂 Nice review. To bad Matt wouldn't give you a "high five" @ SEMA.
Keep 'em coming!
LOL !! I guess you were there live for that event with Matt!! Hahahah. He and I had a blast at SEMA !! :)
i just use the pressure washer on my wheel wells. except i keep the pressure washer off. my 3yo car rear wells have a carpet like material there for some reason. front is the usual plastic.
for a squeegee i use a RainX wiper blade off my previous car. its has a 24" reach. one pass on my rear window takes about 90% of the morning dew off.
Foam cannons are great fun to use. I used so much less soap to cover my car in thick suds than i expected. I only paid $17 for one. I highly recommend one. it made the washing part a lot quicker.
Thanks for sharing with us! How did you discover my channel by the way?
Another great video. Thanks Pan! Can you make a video about how to take care of YOURSELF? This is a very much physical job that can certainly take a toll on your back and arms, and knees with time I’m sure. Do you treat yourself to a spa? Chiropractic sessions? Massages? Thanks.
Pan is the detailing master
I have been working in car detailing at dealerships for a long time and the willie brush hair scrub is not the best for removing hair and dirt a better option is the Penstone
Hey Pan, wondering what the differences are between neoprene, nitrile and latex gloves? Also what makes you choose nitriles ones?
Great and helpful video, and thanks for passing on your knowledge, greetings from Mexico
Hey Pan,
This is Dr. Sushil from India. I really like your each and every video about detailing and I try to follow every trick and method you suggest.
I have only one issue that I'm unable to find the products and tools you suggest on Amazon India. Can you please help me with that? Like, any alternative to the products and tools which are available in India?
Truly appreciate your work and knowledge sharing. Cheers!
Thanks,
Dr. Sushil
Awesome video PanI always wondered how all your tools were squeaky clean!
Heheh thanks Sanuda!!
Another great informative watch Pan. Cheers from the UK !
Thanks Cliff! How did you discover my channel?
That pet hair remover rubber thingy is the same thing as a window squeegee and some caulking tools that are very inexpensive. Better yet a shop vav with the bristle attachment
Best detailing channel
Thanks Oscar!
What's up Pan great video my fellow detailer, I'll ALWAYS have respect for another guy in this profession, I'm about to start my own an are highly anticipating it. I'll be up an running within 2 weeks, but again thank you for passion buddy. Look forward to meeting you one day at the next SEMA my Canadian homie🔝😎👊🏽💯
@@PanTheOrganizer thanks.
sorry for the noob question, buying a bunch of product at once and mostly going with your recommendations. Would both the fender/tire brush and the tire brush you recommended be needed? Wouldnt the fender brush be able to clean the tire as well?
The tire brush has specific stiffer bristles for that task. See my updated wheel brushes video here: th-cam.com/video/HEZVC3EIogM/w-d-xo.html
And my latest tutorial on cleaning wheels and tires here: th-cam.com/video/omwcNcSYcS8/w-d-xo.html

The clay towels are pretty good for lightly contaminated vehicles but if there are heavy stuck on contaminants a clay bar from my experience works alot better, if you have a clay bar there is no need for a clay rag
Nicely done Pan!

Great video Pan!
Thanks !!
Try out baby wipes for cleaning tools, I use them all the time 99 % water but can still remove brake dust from wheels. Try them and let me know what you think, they are a lot cheaper.
You only need 2 of those blue things under the left side tyers if your taps on the right side or vise versa.
Don't rub the handle and get any bad ideas...LOL! i wasn't until you said so....now i will never clean things again without that running through my mind thanks pan!
Hi Pan !! i like your videos more and more !! I see you like the turtle wax And my question is can i wash my car first with Turtle wax hybrid solution ceramic wash shampoo and after the wash to put turtle wax ceramic graphene past wax ? Is it possible to mix with those 2 turtle waxes or is it beter just to use one off them !!! thxx
Great video; it answered a lot of questions I didn't even know I had. & yes, I wondered how your tools looked like new all the time :-) a Miracle Wipes them new again...

@@PanTheOrganizer To make a long story short...I bought a brand new vehicle this past summer, and wanted to make sure I took care of it even better than any of my other vehicles in the past. I was wondering if there were any new techniques, products, or equipment out there that had come out since I hadn’t really been in touch with anything new; and boy did I learn! I basically stumbled across one of your videos on TH-cam, and got hooked. All these things I’ve learned in the past 6 months have literally blown my mind, big time! And I’m still learning. I like how you continue to strive to get better. Complacency is the enemy, lol!

Awesome video like always! Could you show us the process on how to clean applicator pads?
I love the details of detailing!
Me too! 👍🏻
would you recommend tub o towels over miracle wipes?
I like to use dryer sheets with a lubricant to remove bugs and such from the front of the vehicle and side mirrors, do you think the wipes would work in this way? By the looks of it they seem to have the same look and feel of a dryer sheet but I could be wrong. Just kinda sparked my curiosity.
Hi Pan. I’ve seen a lot of your videos. They are all good. I’m trying to find one with a step by step that shows everything for the exterior. My car has swirl marks and I wanted to see a video that showed each step. Thanks

Very helpful! How do you store your brushes, especially Boars Hair detail brushes, when they are not in use?
Awesome video, well detailed and helpful; keep up.
Great video thank you , very informative.
Thanks Danny!
The uproot lint tool is much better than the lilly brush
You can buy Melamine sponges on Amazon instead of the name brand Mr clean magic erasers. Same thing but 1/3 the cost

Hey Pan hope you are well! I have a protective film on the front hood and side mirrors of my Lexus. Do you have any videos on how to clean those? Are they even useful on a daily driver?
This is like the barber shop of cars.
Gotta have those miracle wipes!
Hi Pan great videos im learning alot have one question what is the best size pad
5 5.5 6
Thanks Dave! There isn't a "best size" for pads. It really depends on what polisher you have. If you have a polisher with a 5 inch backing plate, you get a 5 inch pad. If you have a 6 inch, you get a 6 inch pad. And so on.
Hello pan ! Awesome video ! But you forgot to mention how do you wash the clay towels. Do you clean the clay towels the same way as microfiber towels ?
You simply rinse the clay towels after use. Zero maintenance.
another great informative video pan.thanks 4 all u do..
Great video seen a couple things I need to order. Thanks Pan
