@TWA Motorsports Here I was thinking I'd have to get the entire door repainted (all FOUR of them), but then I come across this vid & with one simple attachment, I'll be able to pull out the dremel & have the doors lookin like the trim was never there. THANK YOU, bro
Every thought about replacing the taillight fixtures with the new Cadillac tall taillight. I really like mine. I used the smoked lens on my black Suburban. Turned out nice. Lots of compliments. I enjoy your channel, thanks for all the info. !
My 2 cents is that it looks awesome the height that it is currently at. The debadging looks great too. I have the rear LED'S on my 09 Silverado and you could actually drive backwards and use them as headlights they are so bright.
I'd probably stay at that height and fix the rear end issue you mentioned. Without the trim, the wheel size is even more of a visually uneven proportion and in my opinion lowering more would further accentuate that. Either way, I appreciate that you make every attempt to keep your fleet maintained
Looks awesome! I literally took my molding off my suburban today as well. Definitely gives it a cleaner look. With my truck being black is seemed to be a lot messier than your white one.
Hey man just got an 2010 and wanted to clean it up and make it my own. Started with the door trim and wanted to do it right and came across this video. Thanks, was very helpful! If you have any other ideas or tips to make it a touch more bad ass I'd appreciate hearing about it. Thanks .
Yes do the video on the dod deactivation! I’m moments away from camming my Sierra to eliminate that stupid dod afm crap. Thinking of getting the baby cam from summit. Lowest lift duration to keep mpg. 205/217 .500 lift
Man looks nice. I still haven't bought that buffer, my truck is super straight no dings nothing but needs a buff has some minor tree or bush scratches from previous owner. Gotta work on my front bumper gap. Sides are perfect but center in touching the grill cant figure out why
Anyone have any great recommendations on after market head lights, I’m wanting them to be brighter and to have a more 5000k look to them like the newer model Chevys. currently driving a 2013 Tahoe. Not sure if I need to look into replacing the entire housing assembly to achieve what I’m looking for? Also for the tail lights/ reverse lights just any plug and play LED Bulbs will Work with the swap? Also what has anyone installed a back up camera on their Tahoe/suburban yet? I have one but have gotten mixed reviews on where to land it. Thank you for this video I am going to attempt the same project on removing the trim. Looks great!
Looks good........been wanting to remove side trim from my 06 tundra xsp for quite awhile now......has been park inside all its life, has only 57,000 miles on it......how bad you think the paint will, if any, be darker under trim????? It's silver.....thx
Hey do you think you're going to do a video of how to deactivate the AFM system? I for one would be extremely interested in seeing how you do it as I have the same motor in my truck.
Hi Travis I am writing to let you know that I am new to your channel. I admire the way you explain things. You do a very good job. I have changed out all of my interior lights and a few exterior ones. I have a 2005 Yukon Denali. I was wondering if you recommend these back up lights for it as well. In addition will you or have you done a video on replacing the bulbs in the steering wheel. I am sure this is a common problem when the vehicle begins to age. Again thanks for the great job and keep them coming. TW Savannah, GA
Would have loved to see how much light the reverse lights actually throw behind the car and not just how bright they are looking at them. I've been trying to find good LED reverse bulbs for a few days now too and I can't decide which to get.
Great tutorial my friend. Getting off the beaten path... I ordered Umi upper a arm brackets for my project 94 Pontiac Trans am. My stock upper a arm brackets are junk.. I looked up BMR but they don't make them..so I went Umi. And they are black. That's the only color they come in.... Are you going to be using your stock a arm brackets in your ws6??
@@TWAMotorsports yes my back one are BMR relocation brackets. But I was referring to the upper front a arm brackets. You should look into yours.. mine were shot...b
TWA Motorsports i been saying that trim needed to come off haha and about the m105, i was using that forever until they guy at my paint shop told me to try this new compound, i kid you not 100 times better I’ll get you the name of it and you try it if you want, truck looks great

Looks so much better and cleaner, makes washing the vehicle easier as well.
Thank you. It is less to dry around

Without the molding it looks even longer 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
I agree. It does look a little longer
Looks great without the trim 👍

You have made me love lowered vehicles.
Lol. The dark side!!!
All ur vehicles look good after u finish I like the Texas edition wheels
Thank you
Very nice! This was one of the first mods I did to my 2013 Sierra. Definitely cleans up the look of the truck. Makes it a whole lot easier to wax.
Thank you. It is easier to clean this way
Looks clean with out the moldings but they do sure help a lot when you park in a crowded place
My 2 cents is that it looks awesome the height that it is currently at. The debadging looks great too. I have the rear LED'S on my 09 Silverado and you could actually drive backwards and use them as headlights they are so bright.

Suburban looks awesome!
Thank you Jeff
It looks way better I did the same to my Trailblazer and I took the racks out
I agree. I like both ways though
I love the transformation..

@@TWAMotorsports it was all glass yesterday. Now today the outline haze is all visible again. I guess I need another clean, and buff. LOL.

Maybe you should make the black parts of mirrors color-matched because it will make the Suburban look better
It is textured and imho I don't love that look

Keep trying to talk my wife into lowering our 08 Tahoe 🙄
Just do it while she is at work lol
another good video! Ditch the dewalt stuff and go milwaukee though..lol Loving the 'burban.

Plain old Gas works great removing glue....I've done it for years...

Don't have a video of the steering wheel. Back up lights definitely make a difference.
I've had bad luck with white and removing emblem and trim. It's always yellow under neeth.
Paint correction is needed after
Looks great without the door trim. Now I've got to put LED's on mine.
Lol. You do
Easy way to check reverse lights if you're by yourself is to turn the key to the ACC position, apply your e brake and put in reverse.
Your right. Didn't think of that
Would you ever put some bigger and newer Denali or LTZ wheels?
I might at some point
What headlights are those? Oem with LEDs? Not projectors?
Yes oem replacements

These are great. My suburban is so dark tinted that the camera wouldn't pick up that view. Its worth the $20 for the ones I linked below.

For the license plate bulbs just get some LED ones from AutoZone better brand and you don’t have to wait to get shipped.
I have some Phillip's I'm putting in

How’s the ride with it lowered?
Rides great actually
Handles well? Thinking of trying to duplicate a PPV Tahoe, but with a Suburban. Thanks for the reply btw.
It probably handles better but I don't drive it hard in the corners.
What test weight is the fishing line?
Thinker the better. I listed the brand in description
You should remove the running board too
I don't like that look
