  • Walked on in college. Undrafted. Cut four times. Banished to NFL Europe. And through it all, somehow James Harrison became one of the most dominant players in the NFL. The quintessential "never give up" tale.

    The fact that Rod Woodson is ranked 5th in forced fumbles, AS A DB, while the other 4 are LB's, just goes to show you how dominant #26 was...#DeionWho #DeeBo

    People forget that James was a tackling machine. The best Steelers LB since Jack Lambert. I've said that for a decade, I stand by it. I hope to hand that off to TJ Watt someday, but for a franchise with so many great linebackers and Super Bowl rings, if TJ doesn't win one, I'll stand for James Harrison as the best in decades.

    James Harrison is 1000% a first ballot HOFer. Stop rewarding longevity, NFL, reward greatness. Don’t punish the man for the NFL recognizing his talent late.

    Super video. You bring out points that are overlooked in most bio-pics made by HOFers even by the NFL and other NFL Media Affiliates. Wonder what his stats would have looked like had he played in the NFL instead of in Europe and had he not been cut as often early in his career.

    The statement that Harrison made about Ben roethlisberger was true. The man did throw a lot of picks, and he did have this complex where he thought he was Peyton Manning.
    Harrison was right to knock him down a peg or two, there is only one Peyton Manning. Manning was the only quarterback that should have been getting paid the money. Tom Brady was not as good in that era, but I would also have paid him top dollar.
    The reason you would pay Peyton Manning the maximum of any quarterback in the league, is that he was really doing two jobs. He was the offensive coordinator of his team, and he threw the football. Ike Taylor said that facing Peyton Manning was like the other team was cheating.

    • @drucartier2164
      @drucartier2164 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@MikeKennedyNFL The grading as we know it started in 2011 .. In 2000 it was just a data sheet of statistics. Legit people have said there are a lot of problems in their grades right now, so imagine in 2006+ when it was just Hornsby in the UK and 3 other people. I don’t need a fake PFF score to let me know how good Harrison was l. I watched him

    • @MikeKennedyNFL
      @MikeKennedyNFL  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@drucartier2164 You are misinformed. The years prior to 2010 were done after the fact. They were done years later when the PFF process was already established. I don’t know why you’re so hung up on this in the first place.
