Aka sir, aka silverback, aka deeboo, aka the intimidation. His physical abilities were unreal. He was the end of an era of hard hitting classic football.
And all we'll ever have is memories of how the game was meant to be played. Everyone risked their health, their lives, to play a game they loved... 200% willingly, fully knowing the the dangers and risks. Football has gotten soft because people who has never played the sport, cried and screamed that they're offended and demanded more safety rules. It's not the football the world used to love. The players know that people get hurt, injured, and can even die but a very high majority want the game that it used to be. No one intends to injure another player. All part of the risk they knowingly and whole heartedly choose. Thank you, Deebo. GOAT linebacker in my opinion, I'll always cherish the memories
He played football as a defensive player the way the Legends played. Most men that went through his upward battle to make it to the pros would have quit. Then even greater courage to realize his greatest privilege was to raise his 2 boys. As a dad of 3 grown men now I honor this so much. Then his boys tell him to come back at 36! He played his relentless vigor for 4 more years. Then he asked to quit the Steelers as he was older to sign with the Patriots. To his right you either play him or let him go. I love how strong his mom is. God forged this man out of steel. On the field he was relentless off the field he was a dad what a balance. You rock James!
I got to cook a steak for James a few years back at applebees, we were all big steelers fans and were so excited he was there so we wanted to make his food to perfection. Ill always remember what he said when the waitress asked "how's your steak?" And he said "it's alright" and thats all the validation I could've asked for.

I can only imagine if Harrison &Lloyd had played together. That would have been something. Definitely upheld tradition and could have played with the Steel Curtain of the 1970's. Jack Lambert went to Kent State as well.
That Superbowl Run Shows the greatness of James Harrison. WOW !!!! First time seeing that and all I can say is WOW.
Aka sir, aka silverback, aka deeboo, aka the intimidation. His physical abilities were unreal. He was the end of an era of hard hitting classic football.
I miss you in black and gold James! You deserved better from the Steelers my friend. You are in my prayers! God bless
James Harrison for both the Pro Football Hall-Of-Fame & the Pittsburgh Steelers Hall Of Honor, respectively.
not hall.of fame but STEELERS hall of fame
Man I've always loved James Harrison, welcome to the Hall of Fame, brother!
We need him back in the Black and Yellow as a LB coach.
Yes! Get D bush under his wing
Harrison spending times with his family
I love football during this era it was relentless
James Harrison was a beast I wish I had him playing with my team he a NFL hall of famer 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The "MAN". Miss watching him play.
So sad a real man like James Harrison could not even play in today's NFL!!!
The helmet to helmet thing has been around for a while though idk y people act like it’s new
I got to cook a steak for James a few years back at applebees, we were all big steelers fans and were so excited he was there so we wanted to make his food to perfection. Ill always remember what he said when the waitress asked "how's your steak?" And he said "it's alright" and thats all the validation I could've asked for.
Now…imagine Jack Lambert with that much muscle…and you’ll get a chill down your spine!!!
James Harrison is my favorite Steelers player with the 2x super bowl champs with the Steelers and it's was my dad's team for life
James Harrison played the game of football how it was meant to be played!
Loved..watching him hit WR' S...Fearless enough to come across the middle...
The post game interview after his first start vs Baltimore says it all. What a great football player and from what I’ve heard a great husband and father. Loved me some Deebo, without him Steelers don’t win super bowl 43.
I didn't really care what team other than my Steelers he played for. I ALWAYS was and still am a diehard fan of James Harrison. One of my top 3 Steelers of all time!
James was the MVP of the super bowl. PERIOD!
As a Bengals fan I had never been happier to see any other player in a Bengals Jersey.... it wasn't because I liked him I hated his guts.... I was just glad he was on our side now.
I identify with J.H. He has the talent I never had, but I feel his additude. It made me sick when they changed the rules and shut down his best play.
I'm from Ireland I'm about 30 now. Rugby is our sport but I catch some NFL over the years. Mainly highlights sometimes full games. This is guy is my all time favourite NFL player. He would have fit right in with our sport. Harrison was an absolute savage with his tackling. Always found him far more entertaining than some QB.
Joe Thomas looks like a different person entirely. It's shocking whenever I see him.
I still do a double take whenever I see him. That weight loss will pay health dividends later in life.
Just watched again....this man keeps it real...extremely inspiring...I can see things really going well as an actor.
