Is it Possible to Make the Worst Super Mario Maker 2 Levels Even Worse?
ฝัง

- There are tons of different types of bad levels in Super Mario Maker 2. There are levels where all there is to do, is to swim through a seemingly never ending corridor, there are levels where we have to pick one out of four doors, while three of them immediately kill us, and there are many other horrible types of Super Mario Maker 2 levels. But while such Super Mario Maker 2 levels are definitely horrible, they also raise a question, that we as Super Mario Maker 2 scientists simply can’t ignore? Can we do worse? Is it possible to improve those horrible Super Mario Maker 2 levels, in such a way that they become much much worse? Well, today we are going to finally answer this eternal question, because today we will take a look at pick a door, empty swim, leap of faith, find the invisible block and enemy spam levels, and we will try to worsen all of those Super Mario Maker 2 levels.

How to make hidden key levels worse: Add the pick a door mechanic.
Or fill the entire world and sub-world with vines, so the entire area can be potential spots for the block.
Perfection
You need both Vines everywhere a sub area and the pick a door mechanic all while also using the glitch from earlier that makes the game Super laggy
Add sound effects plus trash clear condition, like get the coin and so on
just do all of them
Now combine them all into one level. A level where the player has to survive a wave of spammed enemies while avoiding stars and also finding the hidden block with a key. They can only jump twice until they reach the end of the level: a randomised leap of faith followed my a randomised pick-a-door, all while the game is running at a mere 8 frames per second to maximise suffering. A true masterpiece of torture
Edit: And tag it as multiplayer

Another way to worsen pick a door:
Make a looot of dark rooms that look exactly the same, every door you pick leads to another room that looks equal, but only after a high amount of X doors you see if you failed or not, never knowing which door you picked wrong.
But you can only place 4 doors
you could do a pick a door that can only be verified by blind jump / swim maze / pile of enemies / all of them
a blind jump into a pipe leading to pile of enemies covering a hidden key block for a pick-a-door reached after a swim maze...and the (randomized) doors need to be verified by another long swim maze leading to a blind jump through a one-block gap surrounded by spikes into the goal. And the whole stage lags.

global - He is referring to global ground in MM2, which means that it will not be offloaded when you move any distance away from it, which is solved by the icicles since they are global ground in MM2.
asynchronous - Basically means two or more things happening independently/separately from something else. The timer is not dependent on anything else in the game but the set-up.

For me, “ it is actually surprisingly simple”
For me, I just think that Ceave is always up in the morning early and theory crafting contraptions on graph paper with lots of effort just for our enjoyment and calls it "Surprisingly Simple!"
I made a contraption that detects falling donut blocks. It was possible in mario maker 1 but got removed in mario maker 2. Heres the level code: MRL-D4V-3LF
The changes to pick a path and leap of faith make them both into a straight rng level.
To make them worse, you need to work out a way to randomize once at start, and have the wrong choices just send you back to the start instead of kill you, so the correct spot stays the way it was selected.
A good idea is to combine the 3 first ideas into one level (in SM2 style) like so:
1. Pick a door
2. Leap of faith
3. Hidden block (if you add a spring to come out of the floor at random spots at calculated times it becomes better)
And one of my own: 4. An underground night theme troll level after all that (you know the works twice-twice, CP1 ( which is unavoidable at the start of the level),.... You get the idea
