- Some of you will no doubt remember the AMAZING "Super 1-1 World" made by WarspyKing...but in my Mario Maker journey I actually discovered someone (NOT WarspyKing) made ANOTHER "Super 1-1 World". Is it any good? Does it offer anything different from Warspy's version? Let's find out!

The funny part of the 1-1 where you "couldn't die" was that there were several OTHER Death-Xs there at the beginning too.
So you weren't the ONLY rebellious one that pkayed that level. ;)

About why turning left in the main world after doing so in the subworld did not work, is I assume off camera in the main and sub worlds, there's a blue block that covers-up the way for whatever triggers it the first time, to be unable to trigger it again. Like, here's an example: Say you hit an on/off block to the "Off" setting, and, when you do so, it solidifies a blue block under it, preventing you from hitting it a second time. That is what I kinda feel is why the on/off block cannot be triggered twice by looking left twice, even if you do so twice, once in the main and once in the subworld

I love that dave felt the need to wait out the timer just to prove the level wrong, even though pressing the start over button counts as a death too 🗿

I really hope this creator had the idea to make a _1-1 but it's actually Lost Levels_ level near the end of this Super World ^v^ I think I had commented that before in the original Super 1-1 World, but I can't remember if the creator of that one used that idea or not.

Although this world is more about aesthetic changes than gameplay changes (compared with the other 1-1 but .. world), they have great ideas. The "it's building itself" can be the seed for quite interesting levels.
I love that you can tell a ton of people thought the same thing as him by the amount of deaths at the start of no dying world
the 1-1 but no turning left setup uses spawn-blocking, that's why the setup didn't reactivate in the overworld
On the level that you couldn't die, it was hilarious that there were others who had decided the very same thing and chose to die on purpose to the timer

The reference to tk a bad 80s shooter is because only one shot allowed on screen at a time and you have to wait until it hits something or goes offscreen and despawns.

So the bad 80s shooter is referencing
a) bunnyhopping, where the most efficient way to move involves spending as little time on the ground as possible. This looks ridiculous but people do it because it's optimal.
b) the enemies are an objective but not a threat. This seems like something a bad game would do but I don't play shooters so I don't know any examples.
c) the controls for shooting are wonky as heck. Not in the specific way caused by using the bouncy Super Mario Land shots instead of normal fireballs, but the general idea is still preserved.
