This was a great video and set of images, looked like a lovely holiday! Some awesome recipes though, and always appreciate getting so many back to back... I think I'll have to give XP2 a go
Awww thank. Yeah we had a great time. Enjoy the recipes :)
Man. Thanks and congratulations. I've been roaming on the internet for a while and this is easily my favourite collection of recipes. Much more compelling than most others. The fact that the photos are pretty good also helps project ourselves in a real use context!
Awww cheers! Means a lot :) Enjoy using them!!
That XP2 recipe looks incredible! I'm loading it into my X-T5 like now.
Thanks for sharing ✌️🖤

Definitely going to take crisp chrome for a spin. It looks lovely! Great video!
Cheeeeers! Enjoy it. It's my fave I think too.
Thanks for the video. SHERBET LEMON was my fave. It reminded me of images I would see as a kid.
❤

Awesome - let me know how it goes :))
Jesus Christ! That b&w with the sun through the clouds on the water!?!?!?! Amazing!!!

Aww thanks so much. That's great - let me know how it goes!!
@@rossandhisjpegsI just loaded "Nature Nuture" and it looks great! BTW, I 3rd great-grandfather moved from Antrim to Glasgow in 1806. His son moved from Glasgow to the US as a young man. We've been to Scotland and are planning to go to Ireland next year. My wife is an O'Meara.
Thank you so much!!🎉
You are so welcome! 👊
works perfectly on the X100VI!🔥🔥🔥🔥
thank you!
More than welcome :)
Great stuff mate. Please keep posting those film like recipes, really liking your lomo 800.
Legend thanks so much. Will do :)
Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful weekend
Pleasure. You too 🎉
Very cool dude, thx for the recipes 🙌
Awww pleasure. I love making them :)
I like the Rust Roamer. Gotta try this.
Cool. Enjoy 🎉
I've been using that it's great.
Nurture Nature, Lemon Sherbet and XP2 Electro looks very cool on x-t3 despite small diffs of settings 🔥 Thank you!
Good to know! Thanks for the comment and for giving them a try :)))
Nature Nurture is superb, Will give it a try on my Fuji xH2S.
Thanks so much! Enjoy :)))
Nice recipes .. thank you for sharing.
Thanks, not a bother!
Only just jumped on board Fujifilm and consuming as much as I can. Love the recipes you've created, some stunning shots! Will have to give them a blast. Great that you're a shooter from my part of the world too 🙂
Thanks for comment. That’s class. What camera did you go for??
@@rossandhisjpegs am loaded up on Canon cameras so went for the xt3 just to test out the eco system. Loving what I'm getting so far on the 56mm 1.2.
I fell in love with how Crisp Chrome renders photos of metals (unironically) on my XT3
That's class!! Enjoy
Nice video. I’ll definitely try the ‘neeeyture’ one. 😄
Class thanks.
thank you for sharing
You’re welcome!!
xp2 electro is beautiful, just got a xt5. will try that one
Awww cool! Let me know how it goes for you!
Wow, i think crisp chrome is also good for tommy hilfiger like fashion shoots.
I changed the film sim to Astia and I think it complements everything else!!
Nice recipes bro!
Cheers!
Thanx!
You're welcome!
I really like the Velvia one and the Classic Chrome one looks nice. I usually avoid Classic Chrome, because it makes skin look like pork, but toasting it with an extreme cloudy balance works out nicely.
I love a bit of Velvia any time though. Usually I'll go cool tone with it, because it always looks like positive film, Sherbet Lemon came out great though. I wonder how they'd do in direct hard light.
Yeah no idea how Sherbet Lemon looks in the sun as I seemed to only use it when it was overcast which was pretty much most of the time. I like Classic Chrome but I still think Provia is an incredible base. Thanks for the comment.
I like Velvia, but I drop the contrast if I'm working with jpegs. I need to keep access to shadow details when required.
Hi 👋🏼
I really enjoyed your video. the recipes look really good, I'm going to try them.
Do you make these yourself in a software program or something?
or how do you do that, I want to try it myself.
Greetings Nick
Hey! Yeah sometimes I just make them in camera, but most of the time when creating a recipe I’ll shoot a bunch of RAWs and bring them in to Fuji X RAW Studio with my camera plugged into the computer and create recipes with the RAW files. Finally I’ll import the recipes created in Fuji X RAW Studio back into my camera and go out and test and tweak until I’m happy with the results.
New to your channel and have never tried recipes for my XT-1. Quick question though, when you say for example on recipe #1 that it's based on Provia, are you adjusting the existing Provia Film simulation built in the camera or just building a new Provia like profile from scratch? Thanks and really love your work!!
Hey! Welcome. I’ve never shot with the XT-1 so some of the settings included in my recipes won’t be available to change on your camera. But yeah, with any recipe on Fujifilm cameras the first step is to choose your film simulation e.g. Provia. Then you go down the settings list changing the DR/Highlights/Shadows/WB/Grain settings as you please. Then once you have those settings chosen, it’s usually best to save them in one of your custom slots. My X-T4 has seven slots to save ‘recipes’ but my X100 only has three.
Great video and recipe's Ross, thanks for sharing! Random question though... Can I ask where you got that unit for your record player? hahaha
Thanks… lol IKEA. We’re getting rid of it for a new one soon too haha
@@rossandhisjpegs I don't want to derail your content but we've just bought a house in Dublin and are scratching our heads looking for a record player cabinet so any recs are appreciated 😂
Ross! would like to say double timed thank you! Your recipes are inspired me to experiment to find my own, fell of color of fuji range of settings! If you know, something, lika Leica colors, is there any chance if you would try to duplicate some of them M10/M11, ones? On Fuiji in cam settings simulation?
That’s great thanks!! I don’t own a Leica so I’d feel a bit like a fraud creating a ‘Leica’ recipe. Maybe someone else out there knows of one. Maybe Goughie has one?
@@rossandhisjpegs anyways thanks, your recipes incpiring!
Hi! Is this available on all fujifilm cameras? like the Fujifilm X-A10 and X-A3? Thank you! 😊
The newer cameras have more options available when making recipes. I made these on my X-T4 so there might be a few option not available on the older models included in these recipes buttt you can still use these as a base and adapt them for your own camera.
Btw interesting choices of recipes. Would like to try some out on my older x-t2 / x-e3 but being x-trans III sensors some of those recipes cannot co-exist whitebalance wise ... x-t30II shouldn't be a problem
Thanks! Yeah all recipes I’ve made using my X-T4 or X-H2s so I have no real idea about cameras earlier than these. The only other Fujifilm camera I have is the original X100 and recipe options on it are really limited. Still fun to try though.
May be a stupid question, or not, but is there a way to shoot one image and see how each of these recipes (or others) looks on the same image...?
Not a stupid question. If you shoot RAW images you can bring them into FUJI X RAW Studio on your computer, plug in your camera and add whatever recipe you like onto the RAW image. It’s kind of a backwards way of doing things but good to have.
@@rossandhisjpegs Thank you
Ross my man if you ever want to Collab and do a video with some drone and b roll shots etc. come give me a shout. All I ask is you help me out with my Olympus OM10 film camera
the 3th one in the comment needs to be 'Rust Roamer' I guess ? ;-)
Legend, thanks for that. Fixed now.
as always for the newest models..
You could technically still do the Provia and Velvia one. The Chrome one definitely needs that colour chrome effect to be saturated enough to not look dull. Classic Neg is pretty hideous tbf, so I reckon I could do 90% of what these are with my X-T10.
I own an original X100, X-T4 and X-H2s so those are the cameras I've been making recipes with for my channel. What body are you rocking?
Your original x100 should well compatible with my x100s ^^
is "fujfilm" on purpose?
Hilarious. Can’t believe I didn’t spot that. Thanks for flagging :)
Great video!
Thanks so much!!
thank you for sharing
Pleasure!! 🎉
