I’ve been using the Bose 700 for 1.5 years at least 10h/day. Recently tried the Sony mx4 for two weeks while I was getting my 700s serviced. That said, I’m glad to have my Bose back. They’re Just slightly better in all aspects and Super responsive. I have to mostly agree with Max on his Bose review. However it’s a little unfair that he didn’t use the Bose app to adjust the equalizer. I only open the app when I’m having a sit down and want to enjoy an album at full volume. As with any speaker, settings need to be adjusted to fit the listening composition when it counts. For me, The app tends to solve all of those dynamic range issues that max was having.
@@solismax65 I'd argue it's quite useful, considering there isn't any space in the normal case to charge the headphones, and you can't charge them while in use. Being able to put the headphones away and top them up is great, so you don't get partway through your next time using them and have to put them aside for a while so they can charge.
The 700’s have an equaliser in the Bose app, where you can adjust the bass. The Airpods definitely have an advantage with the dynamic EQ. Agree that if you use android or a windows pc then the Bose is better. You can connect to 2 devices simultaneously on the Bose which is very helpful when you’re not in the Apple ecosystem.
@@Sabirreboiii They've always been compatible with Apple. Most other headphones let you connect with 2 devices at the same time while if you're in the ecosystem, Apple passes around control to what ever device is playing with the Airpods Max. If you're out of the ecosystem, then you have to manually select the Airpods Max everytime you switch devices.
Bought the Bose for 260€ instead of 400€ (new). Didn’t regret them for a sec. You just can’t justify the 629€ required for the AirPods Max, it is simply too much.
Just did the comparison by buying both.... Turns out the H95 sound stage is smaller than the Max, and whilst the low to mid bass in the H95 is a little more accented, the Max deliver an overall cleaner and better sound by having the wider sound stage. Sadly the H95 build quality now lags Apple despite the use of aluminium in the H95 cups - simple things like the cut-outs for the various ports aren't as clean and the band is uncomfortable by comparison once you've tried the Max's 'mesh canopy' design. Even just the size of the ear cups is now diminutive and decidedly less premium in feel when put next to the larger Max. There is also more room inside the Max's ear cups than the H95s. The noise cancellation isn't anywhere near as effective on the H95, and the controls are fiddly and difficult to use compared to the simple button and crown dial on the Max. Transparency mode is also better on the Max than the ambient mode on the H95. The H95 dial controls also offer no feedback (aside from three audio cues on the ANC dial), unlike the 'clicking' of the Max's crown. Yes the Max's case is atrocious but possibly far more practical for weight and bulk than the H95's (very nice but oh so heavy) bulky metal case. So after all that, will be returning the H95's and keeping the Apple cans. Who'd have thought, but the Max are the better value - by costing less and offering far more than the H95 do.
I think the B&O H9 3rd generation are a more fair comparison since they’re $500 and not $800 like the H95. I have the H9i that i got a few years ago and I love them! The treble falls apart a bit when running them with Bluetooth with songs that have bright treble but they’re great when using the 3.5 mm.
I wouldn’t mind if it came with a legit carrying case, audio jack to connect to flight screens, and wasn’t too heavy to be able to workout with. These three things officially make these a pass for me =\
I just bought the AirPods Max and I compared them to the QC35II. Here’s my review: Overall the AirPods Max do sound better in the sense that they’re more detailed and there’s a better separation of notes. Treble can sometimes be a bit piercing though but not as much as on the Bose 700. As everyone already mentioned, there’s a better soundstage on the APM. I think there’s too much sub-bass and it’s like if there’s constantly a mix of music with the sound of an engine. The mid range is slightly recessed kinda like if vocals are more in the background. I prefer the sound signature of the QC35II. They sound a little bit less powerful but the mid range is definitely better on these headphones. The vocals sound more natural and clear. Treble is a little bit lifeless compared to the APM. The QC35II are definitely more balanced overall. To resume, the AirPods Max has better treble. The BOSE QC35II has better bass accuracy and much better mid range. I can still return the AirPods Max but I’ll test and compare them a little bit more. I wish there were headphones as good as the AirPods Max with the sound signature of the Bose. That would be my dream wireless headphones. Hopefully one day Apple will release more balanced headphones with less sub-bass.
This was super helpful! I've been contemplating each of these for use with Zoom meetings for chatting with clients during work and school. You totally had me sold on the Bose 700 but the microphone quality was definitely nicer on the Airpods Max. Thanks for the review!
I have been testing my son’s AirPod Max today - have to say was really disappointed with them & I’m an apple fanboy. They are heavy, put pressure to the top of the ear and the sound quality is not brilliant. They have a nice soundstage and are really good for sub-base type sounds. They would be great for movies but not if you are wanting ultimate sound quality. String instruments sound ok but you can’t hear the true string vibration. I compared them to an old pair of wired Bose headphone and the Bose sounded better. I had ordered a pair, but after testing them I have cancelled them.....not worth the money. They do, however, really show up the beats headphones, which are not great for sound quality.
Lmao what’s wrong with the responses? I was expecting to be blown away but was dissatisfied too. Bose are in the lead and like guy above said, I’m a huge Apple guy
Regarding noise cancelation, the Bose cancel a little bit more on high frequencies. If you try both with the tv on, the Bose does a better job (unfortunately for me since I bought the AirPods Max yesterday). Do not regret, but the differences are not that huge between both.
I really like how you put up a Table of Contents at the beginning of your reviews - even though I typically watch them all the way through anyway. About the review, I’ve had battery-related issues on my last two Bose products - it’s too bad there is no way to test for battery degradation over time, because with my Bose Soundsport Wireless headphones (or wired earbuds), it’s REALLY annoying to have them die after only an hour or so of use...
Love the 700s so comfortable and they sound great I can wear them for really long periods of time and not feel discomfort. Adjusting eq is nice and let the 700s really perform great. The noise canceling is awesome and blocks all the sound I need it too whether it be at home or in a car ride. I also like the noise canceling adjustment from 0,5,10. The battery could be better but then again sometimes I fall asleep with them on, that's how confortable they are lol. Over all happy with my purchase they are great for music movies TH-cam or anything I think based on price you really can't go wrong with bose 700s 👍. Save yourself some money and use the EQ for the bose.
Bose is in the audio business. Apple is in the marketing business. About how it changes the EQ, sound style and volume: Apple being Apple. They believe they know whats better to you...
I was about to purchase the Bose 700 ANC headphones based on your review UNTIL you informed us that they do not support 3D sound coding like Dolby Atmos. Do you have a recommendation for a wireless AND headphone that does? I'm not an iOS user, Android/PC lifer here. THANK YOU!! (great job, by the way, I just subscribed to your channel!)
Yet another great review! I ordered a pair of the Max’s with a roll of the eyes and the intent of hating on them but... they are FANTASTIC! I did my own test comparison of them vs the Sony XM4 and Bose NC700 and I felt the same way as you with the music play comparison. However I also compared while watching the final battle scene of Avengers Endgame. It wasn’t even close. As an iOS user the difference between as like watching a movie with headphones with the Sony’s and the Bose’s, but for Max’s it was like being submerged into an amusement park. After that comparison I immediately packed to the Sony’s and Bose’s and returned them.
Love the fact that you explained how close to your ears the sound is from Bose and Apple. That’s something headphone reviewers should explain more. Great job there! It just gives us a better idea of what you’re hearing.
Are you seeing and scratching or damage at the contact points of the two corners of the AirPod Max ear cup with holding them with out a case (the corners seems to constantly knock together)
AirPods max might be better than BOSE in all areas, but question is by how much? BOSE 700 are years old. If they do come out with 800 or next model, I am sure with newer technologies, they can beat AirPods max. If AirPods max was 399 or even 425$, I would had a tough time to choose. I own AirPods Pro and BOSE 700 today and I am a huge apple fan (fyi only). I can say BOSE 700 quality is really really nice and I could not believe people were only comparing XM4s with AirPods Max. This is nice comparison - real close in many regards
I have had both I prefer the Bose they function flawlessly with my TV, where as the Apple kept disconnecting for no reason! Plus I like the touch sensor on the Bose and the weight
I just bought Bose 700 and airpods pro for 450€ !! Now I am enjoying both as per my requirement. Spend your money wisely! And let me tell you, Bose 700 is really really good and comfortable!! :)
@@JBarezIFQ I think so, you are going from digital (Flac file) to analog (3.5mm), and analog back to digital (DSP) and then to analog (sound) again. It’s a no brainer for Apple to implement USB DAC on the lightning port, but of course they won’t do it.
The reason why the microphone sounds so much better with the AirPods is also the reason why noise cancellation is a bit better. Apple simply uses better mics, with a wider range frequency response. In the microphone comparison your voice sounds much more realistic and harmonically rich with the AirPods, while it is lacking all the treble area in the Bose, and what was the noise area the Bose didn't quite cancel? the treble; those mic don't quite resolve the treble.
So this was a very good review, as usual, but can you explain the title? "Sorry Apple…" implies that the AirPods Max got crushed by the Bose, whereas the tests in the video show the opposite: the AirPods Max do better in pretty much every way. So I'm confused by the title, seems like click-baiting to me😅
Amazing review! 2 things you talked about that no reviewer is taking about: 1. Which headphone is louder 2. Which headphone leak more sound These 2 are the most important things in a headphone. Once again. Nice job man.
@@blackpepper2610 They’re really close. The XM4s can fold and be more compact. The Bose use a rarer 2.5mm jack on their headphones, whereas the XM4s use 3.5mm. Both of them use USB-C for charging. The Bose look better imo, with more metal on the exterior. Generally the Bose are ~$50 more expensive, but you can find discounts on both of them so keep an eye on them.
Max honestly your channel is BY FAR my favourite but please stop with the click bait titles. I know it helps draw people in but it just cheapens the content and you guys are so above that.
Thanks for testing with rock music. So many people only do the audio tests with basic pop music that sounds like something you’d hear playing in a retail store, so boring lol. Honestly just appreciate the wide range of genres you tested
The title says airpods lost its just a pheromones to attract you but video says Sorry apple you wins again....... *Better bass *Best ANC *Better sound quality *Better transparency mode *Better build quality Both are great, Apple is great at its price point boss is great at its price point
I don't own the Bose 700. I own the QC35 II. They are very capable headphones. But after testing a friend's Airpod Max, I'm picking up a pair tonight. Thanks for the video. Good stuff.
I wanted to know how they fit over your ears. I tried on Airpods and my ears fit comfortably inside. That's the most important factor if the Bose do the same.
Just ordered Bose. I use it only for music and movies, I don't use it for phone calls or anything like that. Unless you need to have Apple headphones, you will survive perfectly with Bose.
The ecosystem issue is my biggest concern. But build quality and comfort are high on my list. My head does not like most bands, so I'm hoping the AirPods are more comfortable. We'll see... Worst case I expect I'll be able to sell them.
They probably priced them like this so a lower cost version can be released later and to control demand. The wide sound stage is a bit disconcerting on my air pods max. I thought I was going crazy when it came online and I didn’t know it and could not tell what sounds were real and generated. It’s such a cool experience.
I own both. I think the Max wins overall, but both are good. Of course, big price difference here and add the cost of a third party hard case for the Max. Both companies owe us weather resistance at these prices. Buy both and don’t tell your spouse.
Qc 35ii ftw. Especially for the price. I compared them to the 700s and sony and they have the best sound by far. Deep . Crisp . Clean and deep bass New AirPods max worth almost double?? Idk...
For the apple max I have a pair the problem I’ve had with them is they trap moisture in the headphones causing sound quality problems. Definitely get extended warranty if you buy them. I wouldn’t recommend using working out with them.
When I went to the apple store to try the Max’s on I turned on ANC and the way they tuned it made feel like it wasn’t canceling any noise but then I realized I could only hear my noises. Then I turned ANC off and the difference was just astronomical
Do you want a good reason to buy the AirPods Max? Sound integrity. Aluminum is one of the best material to carry sound waves, while plastic absorbs sound waves. And that is easy to prove. Buy any plastic protective cups made for the AirPods Max, put them on your AirPods Max, and you will hear the difference: some bass is gone, and the treeble seems higher, while the voice is changed. With plastic headphones, you just hear the residual sound waves not absorbed by the plastic cup.
I customised my Bose 700 headphones sound in the “Bose Music” app and they sound 3x better when you have bass on max 10+ , mids on -6 and treble on 10+ Give it a try I think you will be surprised.
Hey Max I'm listening to Hip Hop, Rnb, Afrobeats, Deephouse and planning on using these on conference and phone calls. Which headphones do you suggest I get?
Would love a comparison with the Bang and Olufsen Beoplay H95, which is more of in the “league” of the AirPod Max from a different point of view. Keep up the good work.
@@elvisdorkenoo yep. And they come with cables, an aluminum case that works, twice the battery life, different control scheme with dials, and are lighter. They also fold to a compact form. With the AirPod max, buying apples cables and a third party case of similar aluminum construction would probably make your total AirPods cost to around $800. This is what I meant from a different point of view. Airpods are like expensive XM4’s or cheap H95’s. I want that Max Tech level of review quality because nobody else is giving it.
@@ryankarpowicz1150 ok I get your point, but apart from that spatial computational thing, H95 are expected to have a better sound quality and fidelity; also less latency.
Here in Finland the H95's are 800€ (978 USD) and AirPods Max are 629€ + 39€ for the cable (817 USD) so they would be pretty close in price if you get some aluminium case for the AirPods. Bose 700 are 329€ (402 USD) and Sony XM4's are 359€ (439 USD)
Hi, When comparing good!..sound equipments you have to eliminate one crucial difference: - Volume! The equipment producing the loudest sound ALWAYS has the upper hand! Make sure the sound pressure values between the different equipments are identical! Otherwise you won’t be conducting a comparison! 😉 Kind regards Anders Sweden Long time high end HiFi nerd.
I prefer Bose 700’s not just for the music I listen to but for but for the other features like the noise cancelation the switching the feel and the comfort.
I don’t think it’s fair to compare both the headphones at full blast. Just coz Bose lets you go higher in volume, they shouldn’t be judged at that volume. They should be compared at equal volume coz the AirPods max might sound similar if they allowed you to go that high just like the Bose. Whenever you turn the Bose down 1-2 notches from the max blast, they start sounding really good, which is at the same volume that AirPods max highest blast is. Testing them both at similar volumes will be fair to Bose and it will show much less difference in my opinion than comparing them full blast at which Bose just goes higher at the cost of quality. (It’s actually good they let u do this, as compared to AirPods max which just stop u from going higher than what they can handle).
There is one thing I hate in my Bose 700 NC headphones - I can’t listen to the music with transparency mode on. That small fact forced me to buy AirPods Pro to making my sports outside of home.
Definitely the Airpods Max sound great as the Sony o better and quality material is the best so if you have for pay the extra go ahead, remember the resale value if you decide change a year later.
So I've never been a headphones guy. But I received a Bose 700 as a part of pixel 6 preorder and I'm totally in love with the 700s. I'm still not sure if I'd pay retail to get any of these above 200€ 🎧
Interesting thing is you said you noticed your voice less with the headphones. I tried out the new Airpods Max in store and I do not think they held up at all compared to my Bose 700 with respect to speech. I've used the bose a lot for travel with flying and they have been great for cutting out the conversations other people are having. I don't know what other people are looking for, but speech is one of the major things I want tuned out.
You cannot listen HQ audio straight from your Mac, because it will auto compress, you need to connect an external dac over usb, and then you will have uncompressed
Crazy how Apple's first over the ear headphones even beat long time high end maker Bose's. I wouldn't spend $300 let alone $550 on headphones since I don't listen to a lot of music.
Don’t you think that title was a bit click-bait-y? From the title, I expected the Bose to beat out the APMs, whereas in reality the APMs were (as expected) better in pretty much every arena than the Bose-with the sole exception being price. And that didn’t take into account the feature that is most important to me about the APMs-surround sound for movies, which isn’t even supported at all on the Bose. All told, I would have come down a lot stronger in favor of the APMs in terms of quality of experience and left price out of the equation.
You didn’t mention whether plugging in the AirPods Max to an iPad or iPhone which requires the additional adaptor because there’s no headphone jack port ... does this result in additional sound latency? You plugged it into a laptop that has a dedicated headphone port, so no adaptor (dongle) was required.
I am a visually impaired user so very dependent upon triggering Siri for iPhone iPad and AirPod function. With the 700s is it integrated with Siri well? I also use voice dictation a lot so I’m wondering if the 700 would work well with that or will the max be a better choice since the max is an iOS product and might possibly be better integrated with the accessibility features
I can’t use the Bose 700s because the clamping force causes me to have head fatigue and I can’t keep them on longer than 30mins. Looking forward to trying the Max out. Keep up the great content!
Help me pick one, please - I was recently gifted master and dynamic mw65 - the price tag is close to Airpod max. All of my electronic gadgets are apple. Now, should I return this master and dynamic mw65 and get Airpod Max? Please suggest. Thanks. Call Quality will be my priority and then songs.

Agree that if you use android or a windows pc then the Bose is better. You can connect to 2 devices simultaneously on the Bose which is very helpful when you’re not in the Apple ecosystem.
What about now, any idea if Bose updated their software compatible with Apple products (macOS, iPadOS, and iOS)?
@@Sabirreboiii They've always been compatible with Apple. Most other headphones let you connect with 2 devices at the same time while if you're in the ecosystem, Apple passes around control to what ever device is playing with the Airpods Max. If you're out of the ecosystem, then you have to manually select the Airpods Max everytime you switch devices.
I can't find the Equalizer settings to update bass in the Bose app
The Bose app sucks
Bought the Bose for 260€ instead of 400€ (new). Didn’t regret them for a sec. You just can’t justify the 629€ required for the AirPods Max, it is simply too much.
Now compare it with the B&O Beoplay H95! It's more fair comparison for the AirPods Max.
No, like mkbhd said, with whom to compare is the question
@@Abstracts3211 what
Just did the comparison by buying both....
I agree
Even a die hard Apple fan like me don’t feel comfortable about AirPod max’s pricing point
If you think apple pricing is not right, then you're officially not a die hard apple fan anymore
Hardcore Apple fan, not ok with the price, bought them anyway, will live on ramen for 2 weeks until I get paid and then all will be forgotten 🤣
Well I'm a die hard Apple fan too and I do feel comfortable sooo, not everyone's like you bud.
I wouldn’t mind if it came with a legit carrying case, audio jack to connect to flight screens, and wasn’t too heavy to be able to workout with. These three things officially make these a pass for me =\
@@rogeh5687 how do u like them? I’m wrestling between AirPods Max, Sony XM4 and Senheiser Momentum 3s
I just bought the AirPods Max and I compared them to the QC35II. Here’s my review:
Overall the AirPods Max do sound better in the sense that they’re more detailed and there’s a better separation of notes.
What about the anc? And comfort?
same here! I like the earphones/headphones of apple because of the treble and volume
@@queenbee6622 My review is trash. I was wrong on many points.
@@mohi671 My review is garbage. I should probably delete this.
@@urbanistgod we are entitled to our own opinion. no right no wrong. we all have different preferences... it's ok
You're a troll disguising yourself as a fanboy
I’m sorry headphones cant sound perfectly like your in a full on theater listening to a literal fucking orchestra.
You should start writing poems. You have imagined everything perfectly without ever having seen apm
Lmao what’s wrong with the responses?
I was expecting to be blown away but was dissatisfied too. Bose are in the lead and like guy above said, I’m a huge Apple guy
@Lone Wolf how were they?
After iPhonedo’s AirPods Max review,I feel like every other review attempt is pointless.
Bose in audio vs the Boss in Technology.
Who will win?
You decide!
I like Bothss 🤪
Bose in audio.
Regarding noise cancelation, the Bose cancel a little bit more on high frequencies. If you try both with the tv on, the Bose does a better job (unfortunately for me since I bought the AirPods Max yesterday). Do not regret, but the differences are not that huge between both.
I like the weight of the AirPods Max, it’s a constant reminder of how much they cost, weighing down on my head.
The best setup is airpods pro and airpods Max on the outside
😂👌🏻
I tried the Bose 700 and went back to The Bose qc35 ii, the sound quality is just a bit better. Great Review thank you
👍🏻QC 35 II is more comfortable too!
Bose are better
bluetooth delay is so low on Airpods, that's a huge advantage, must be the H1 chip
Nope, they are still like new. Hopefully the anodizing is strong and won't have issues..
if it does get damaged like that it would probably happen over a long time like months of use so we'll have to wait see.
Thanks max you are working good only to make sure that we get the right headphones. You deserve the views of the people

I just bought Bose 700 and airpods pro for 450€ !! Now I am enjoying both as per my requirement. Spend your money wisely! And let me tell you, Bose 700 is really really good and comfortable!! :)
Happy to hear you like the Hi-Res music. :) Thank YOU for the channel link! 🙏🏻
Noob question - isnt it pointless to listen to very high quality sound file directly from macbook minijack without DAC?
@@JBarezIFQ I think so, you are going from digital (Flac file) to analog (3.5mm), and analog back to digital (DSP) and then to analog (sound) again. It’s a no brainer for Apple to implement USB DAC on the lightning port, but of course they won’t do it.
For £550 you can buy a decent set of headphones 🎧
About the microphone quality i think its the same between those two ! The airpods max are just louder !
Thank you. I'll stick to my $35 MPOW wireless headphones. No complaints there listen to the music you're testing with. In fact it sounds amazing.
Thanks for the review. I got my airpods max 2 days ago and yes, they are pricey but unbelievable sound and quality.
So this was a very good review, as usual, but can you explain the title? "Sorry Apple…" implies that the AirPods Max got crushed by the Bose, whereas the tests in the video show the opposite: the AirPods Max do better in pretty much every way. So I'm confused by the title, seems like click-baiting to me😅
Welcome to TH-cam. 😆
There wasn't a big difference in any of them so why pay nearly double the price...
Amazing review! 2 things you talked about that no reviewer is taking about:
1. Which headphone is louder
2. Which headphone leak more sound
These 2 are the most important things in a headphone. Once again. Nice job man.
You got some traffic for this because of the clickbait title, people expecting to see a nod towards the Bose.
Yea lmao I only clicked because of it o thought the Bose destroyed them or something
Yup. Though, at a price $200 less the Bose are doing an admirable job, so much so that the AirPods Max make the Bose seem fairly priced lol
@@utubekullanicisi which is better bose or Sony headphone?
The things people do for clicks
@@blackpepper2610 They’re really close. The XM4s can fold and be more compact. The Bose use a rarer 2.5mm jack on their headphones, whereas the XM4s use 3.5mm. Both of them use USB-C for charging. The Bose look better imo, with more metal on the exterior. Generally the Bose are ~$50 more expensive, but you can find discounts on both of them so keep an eye on them.
I actually thank you for referring to the xm4's so much. Rather helpful for what I'm working on.
Max honestly your channel is BY FAR my favourite but please stop with the click bait titles. I know it helps draw people in but it just cheapens the content and you guys are so above that.
Highly appreciate these long videos!! But all the hard work is worth it!👍
Is latency totally gone when using them wired?
While wired, they both still have to be turned on for best quality right?
yeah
Thanks for testing with rock music. So many people only do the audio tests with basic pop music that sounds like something you’d hear playing in a retail store, so boring lol. Honestly just appreciate the wide range of genres you tested
I've the 700. It's a great set, nice audio quality on calls compared to Sony but the Airpods are in another league.
How did you know
@ I've the XM3 (set died, that's how I ended up with the 700) and I tried a friend's Airpods Max.
The title says airpods lost its just a pheromones to attract you but video says Sorry apple you wins again.......
*Better bass
*Best ANC
*Better sound quality
*Better transparency mode
*Better build quality
Both are great,
Apple is great at its price point
boss is great at its price point
I've the 700 but I'd rather pay extra to not have to live with compromises.
Then buy the drop thx pandas, if anc isnt an issue. Superior sound though and the imaging T.T that imaging deymmm
How is the software? I just read bose community and people seem to be pretty fed up with firmwares bose has released.
Note for future buyers of ANC headphones, Transparency quality is very important especially when not wanting to remove headphones when in use.
I don't own the Bose 700. I own the QC35 II. They are very capable headphones. But after testing a friend's Airpod Max, I'm picking up a pair tonight. Thanks for the video. Good stuff.
Small update you can get the Bose 700 with a charging case that should be able to charge 2 times I don’t remember specifically
I wanted to know how they fit over your ears. I tried on Airpods and my ears fit comfortably inside. That's the most important factor if the Bose do the same.
Hi, you tested the lossless on both. Did you get true lossless on AirPods max. Secondly, what's your opinion for Apple Lossless audio on AirPods max?
Didn’t know there was white soapstone Bose. I cancelled my AirPods max order and bought another Bose 700 from bestbuy. Glad I did.
I have both of them and could not decide yet which one is better than other.
Idk...
What iPhone case do you have on your phone, is that a battery pack? It looks cool.
“Now we test AirPods Max vs the original EarPods! Uh oh Apple!”
Great and honest review! I just watched all the reviews for this new headset. Just curious what size Apple Watch case are wearing, the 40mm or 44mm?
Do you want a good reason to buy the AirPods Max? Sound integrity. Aluminum is one of the best material to carry sound waves, while plastic absorbs sound waves. And that is easy to prove. Buy any plastic protective cups made for the AirPods Max, put them on your AirPods Max, and you will hear the difference: some bass is gone, and the treeble seems higher, while the voice is changed. With plastic headphones, you just hear the residual sound waves not absorbed by the plastic cup.
Please compare airpods max with Sennheiser momentum 3
This!
The sound quality comparison is fair. Just not 550 $ worth...or 629€ in the Netherlands (770 US)
I customised my Bose 700 headphones sound in the “Bose Music” app and they sound 3x better when you have bass on max 10+ , mids on -6 and treble on 10+
Give it a try I think you will be surprised.
What kind of Apple Watch band is that? I’d like to get one.
Hey Max I'm listening to Hip Hop, Rnb, Afrobeats, Deephouse and planning on using these on conference and phone calls. Which headphones do you suggest I get?
Ummm so in the max vs xm4 you said you could hear the violin in the AirPods but now saying you can only hear it in the Bose a bit weird
Would love a comparison with the Bang and Olufsen Beoplay H95, which is more of in the “league” of the AirPod Max from a different point of view. Keep up the good work.
That's 800 dollars
@@elvisdorkenoo yeah I really like how Max Tech does their reviews so here’s hoping!
Hi,
When comparing good!..sound equipments you have to eliminate one crucial difference:
- Volume!
The equipment producing the loudest sound ALWAYS has the upper hand!
Make sure the sound pressure values between the different equipments are identical! Otherwise you won’t be conducting a comparison! 😉

True
Costco has the 700’s for $330 with charging case. I would love to have the MAX but Bose is such a bargain.

Apple pro max microphone sounds a lot better! Looking to purchase a the apple headset. Do you know when the second gen is coming out?
Did you check midi audio setup and make sure it’s outputting the correct sample rate?
THIS.
Crazy how Apple's first over the ear headphones even beat long time high end maker Bose's. I wouldn't spend $300 let alone $550 on headphones since I don't listen to a lot of music.
Hiring skilled headphone engineers isn't hard, if you're Apple.
I recently tried the Airpods. They're amazing.
I can’t use the Bose 700s because the clamping force causes me to have head fatigue and I can’t keep them on longer than 30mins. Looking forward to trying the Max out. Keep up the great content!
