Something that annoys me is that every single npc will allways use the AR C, the 1911, the sniper AR C, and the M133, but they will never spawn using a p226 or a ak47.
Well, it's not like Cod or any other fps. Most enemies will use the common weapon in the game. The Pirates and Royal Army carried AK-47's, PKM's, M113's, Dragunovs, RPG's, and 1911's. The Cult uses a similar set of weapons except the AK-47, PKM, and Dragunov are replaced with weapons that would be common in America like M4's, M60's, and AR-15's. Even the vehicle's in FC5 use the Browning 50. Cal instead of the DshK from the previous games.
@@lavahoundbrlava1883 that's because the Privateers are Americans so it makes sense they would use those guns. The Royal Guard uses the P416 for 2 reasons: They were supported by the CIA during the Kyrati Revolution, and they are Chinese criminals from Pagan Min's Triad in Hong Kong, so they got those guns off the Black Market. The 1911 is a commercial pistol however, it makes sense for the Pirates and Royal Army/Guard to use them.
Look enemies, if blown up but dont die, will drop their weapon, so go to weapon editor and put weapons on the ground and there ya go(not all guns work though)
Apart from the intentional mistakes they made when designing the guns, FC 5 had the best gun models. And it's probably the last FC with realistic-ish weapons. New Dawn had some weird looking ones and FC 6 is probably going to use weird ones too.
It’s not a problem if they use improvised weapons in Far Cry 6, as long as they have the OPTION to use regular military/militia weapons, I have a feeling both will be available.
FC6 seems to be using real guns as well as homemade guns. Some of the attachments for the real guns are improvised designs though. Like the red dot sight that uses a laser pointer and a tuna can, or the laser sight that looks like a clump of electronics and batteries. They showed normal scopes and suppressors for them though, so I imagine actual military grade dot sights and lasers are there, just more expensive to buy.
The RAT-4 is a based on the MAAWS recoiless launcher wich require cartidge extraction after firing since its a shell, I see ubisoft did their research on that to make it fire guided rockets
I actually like the left handed models but only on civilian market guns that actually exist like that. You could buy an M1A from Springfield in a left hand config, but youll never find a Dragunov SVD like that.
I love it how the deputy is putting his face right in front of the iron sights while firing the Winchester 1887 which basically let's him/her eat fresh, hot shotgun shells.
I guess it's more of a gameplay thing for those who spray a lot. Real life guns don't have this feature, or you would need to do some intense maintenance on the firearm.
I get the argument but even some of the more realistic games do that, it’s to let the player know “hey your almost out of ammo so you should do something about that”.
No pkm, glock 18, m4 carbine (which is weird cause an m4 carbine can be seen in the cover art), z 93,stg 90,Ajm... They could have even added some ww2 weapons like the m1 garand, thompson,m1 browning and etc. Instead they added stupid alien weapons, 3 variants of one weapon and stuff like that😑
Why are some of those weapons hidden in my game ? For instance, the Mg42 is not in the shop at all ? I bought the game recently (had others to finish). Are they unlockable as you progress like the guns I SEE in the shop?

Well compare to previous installment, this one is much better. Like the mp5 for example, it finally shows the proper mp5 reload compare to Far Cry 3 and 4 where the bolt suddenly locked back whenever the gun run out of ammo in the mag.
@@RallyFumo the farcry characters are literally unstoppable, they invade entire bases single handedly, they know how to operate any firearms flawlessly. If they wanted realistic animations for gunfights, the character should be stressed and have trouble operating the firearms. He looks like he is reloading in a gun range by himself.
This game was awesome but was disappointed with the weapon selection. . Why not add more modern guns rather than 4 of the same ones and useless ww2 guns. . P90 for an smg would’ve been nice or a Scar-H for a riffle
I will never understand why they chose to add German WW2 weapons, but not American ones. The M1 Garand, Grease Gun, Thompson, Springfield 1903, M1 Carbine, and the BAR would've been AMAZING additions. Wish there was some way for someone to mod them into the game.
I was thinking that the Weapon variant system would do as it says "Adds attachments and different stats to the Base weapons", but I've not noticed a single difference between say the AKM and the AKM-Whitetail besides a cool as fuck camo and cosmetic change.
Yeah I didn’t bother buying all magnums in the game. Only at the end I did but the weapons they had were limited even though there are many types of guns available in the USA. They could have added like a Glock, KSG, FAL, Barrett, Thompson, hell even a colt Single action army. Your in the USA in game, they have more than Ar-15s, 45-70s, .44 Magnums and MP5s
Lmfao bruh the 1 thing that bothered me is the revolver. The only game that has a realistic combat reload animation for a revolver aaand.. The cylinder is out of alignment and can be seen rotating around a non-central axis😒 everytime you shoot you can see it move assymetrically.
I miss the louder, more powerful firing sounds of Far Cry 3, particularly the shotguns and sniper rifles. Perhaps these sounds are more realistic but they're not as satisfying.
The Z-93 was a monster especially when you loaded it up with Ext Mags, Suppressor and a Variable Scope. Picking pirates and privateers off from far away with that softer "KRA-PYCHUM!" was orgasmic.
I would have to say that the scorpion is the best sidearm for all situations. It has big magazine, can be used for stealth, and is effective in eliminating targets at close, medium and long range, but dries up on ammo quickly, and runs out of ammo. Good load outs to complement this weapon include: spas 12 for primary 1, ak (any) for primary 2, and an lmg or bow for primary 3
I use a similar loadout. But LMG instead of Spas. And maybe the AR instead of AK because i like the burst and u get lots of ammo from NPCs. Bow is great especially with the explosive and fire arrows!

The older games had it that way because they were knock off imports form foreign countries but in far cry 5 which is set in the US I doesn’t make sense.
One of the best aspects of Far Cry 5 is the wide variety of weapons to choose from. There are weapons for every style of play. It also makes the game more enjoyable when you have so many option to switch up your arsenal. With that said, however, I feel like it also made the game WAY too easy. Once you get hold of the M60 and RPG-7 (both of which can be easily obtained in less than an hour into the game), you are good to go. You could easily beat the game with those two weapons. I also know you can pick up the MBP .50 in Faith's region. Far Cry 3 and 4 had a better progression when it came to weapons, only allowing the player to use stronger weapons as they got deeper into the game. Far Cry 5 is an overall amazing game, but its weapons are both one of the best and worst aspects of the game.
Your list is decent except for the SMG's. It's called the APC9, NOT the ACP9. Also, the SMG-11 is meant to be a MAC-11, so what's the difference between that and the MAC-10? To top this off, keep the Bizon in there. The PP-19 Bizon is a very cool concept for an SMG, so keep that shit in!

It still bothers me to this day that they ditched the USAS 12 full auto shotgun from far cry 2. That was one of my favorites, and they decided to bring in WW2 guns to 5 and 6 but left out the best one (thompson)

It pisses me off that the Deagle uses .50 BMG ammo in this game and is therefore obsolete. Should've allowed it to use handgun ammo and change the damage if necessary.
I don't know how to explain it but I hate it when guns in games have those over-the-top crunchy, "click-clack" sounds, especially when reloading and aiming down sights.
They could have done something much better with the weapons in Far Cry 5 but all of the “new” weapons were variants of old ones and actual unique ones were either DLC or paywalls.

The sounds for these weapons are just so good, but some of the reload animations are cringe asf 🤮
I think the animations are decent, they are not of course MW level, but they are quite fast and get the job done.

You can use far cry 5 mod installer to modify the FOV for the better one, that changed my gameplay experience whole lot better i must say

The Z-93 was a monster especially when you loaded it up with Ext Mags, Suppressor and a Variable Scope.

I would have to say that the scorpion is the best sidearm for all situations. It has big magazine, can be used for stealth, and is effective in eliminating targets at close, medium and long range, but dries up on ammo quickly, and runs out of ammo. Good load outs to complement this weapon include: spas 12 for primary 1, ak (any) for primary 2, and an lmg or bow for primary 3
I use a similar loadout. But LMG instead of Spas. And maybe the AR instead of AK because i like the burst and u get lots of ammo from NPCs. Bow is great especially with the explosive and fire arrows!
I like to use the Mac-10 since the fire rate is really fast and I just love doing drive-bys on the cultists with it lol

The older games had it that way because they were knock off imports form foreign countries but in far cry 5 which is set in the US I doesn’t make sense.

One of the best aspects of Far Cry 5 is the wide variety of weapons to choose from. There are weapons for every style of play. It also makes the game more enjoyable when you have so many option to switch up your arsenal. With that said, however, I feel like it also made the game WAY too easy. Once you get hold of the M60 and RPG-7 (both of which can be easily obtained in less than an hour into the game), you are good to go. You could easily beat the game with those two weapons. I also know you can pick up the MBP .50 in Faith's region. Far Cry 3 and 4 had a better progression when it came to weapons, only allowing the player to use stronger weapons as they got deeper into the game. Far Cry 5 is an overall amazing game, but its weapons are both one of the best and worst aspects of the game.
Hurk, Sharky, AKM Warrior, Spas 12, 1911. Literally makes the game easy mode and you can get all of these in an hour, probably less

It pisses me off that the Deagle uses .50 BMG ammo in this game and is therefore obsolete. Should've allowed it to use handgun ammo and change the damage if necessary.
That would've been a cool detail imo but I'm sure ubisoft didn't want to put that type of work in a single detail like that unfortunately.
